Good point but maybe it also has to do with how endangered certain animals are as opposed to others and how the animal is utilized… many people eat meat so a cow is eaten while the hides can be used for clothing and other goods. An alligator or lizard, for example, while they might be on some culture’s diet plan, they might maybe not be on most people’s menus. I heard an Hermes SA tell me once that they allegedly make bags from cows that are eaten but more and more people are vegetarian and vegan so the leather market is changing as well and in a way in some cases shrinking allegedly. All food for thought.
The Elizabeth Taylor clutch at least has style and in my eyes is so beautiful. If I we're rich I buy the clutch even would buy that Chanel 🐊 bag because it's so dang beautiful the design the color even the size..

Look at the fashion handbag brand that is behind the queen of England's she was always seen wearing when she was alive. No logo on her bag very simple looking but my god the tag price 0n that bag she wore is absurd but I assume the craftsmanship and durability is what makes it cost what it does..
Yes, I have been looking at that brand for a while now and their prices are high while at the same time they do not even have a stand alone boutique in London. I found that odd. Maybe the opened one since the last I checked but yeah… I found that strange. They can be found in Harrods with other bags… but stand alone seems to be only available online…

@@SuperDacob I assume their more on the lines of a private type fashion bag house brand because they don't want everyone to have access to them and kinda taint their image this is my best guess to why they don't have a stand alone store.
The 3 million dollar diamond heart bag, would be just as ugly or beautiful if done in crystals and when one fell off the owner wouldn't have to feel irritable. What in the Birkin hell is that with the windows lol and who gives a shit if companys do real leather and exotic leather jezzz I rather have real leather that will last a lifetime then fake leather aka plastic fibers.
I will give example I spent a $100 back when I was 25 on a pleather vest and sadly I still o2n it for the memories but it has fallen apart the pleather has been peeling away over the year's which i will be 35 in January I am not sure how mucn longer thia pleather vest will last meanwhile my cow hide leather motorcycle jacket my dad bought for my 21st birthday is still in perfect condtion after all these year's so real leather for the win..
I will stick with my fakes 😫🫃
