- It happened so quick there was nothing I could do it but watch Accident. This is the first time that we have ever done this worked Goats. While working the Goats Leighton had an accident. This has happened to me before as well and I know he was in a lot of pain but he is OK.

Your kids have sure adapted fast to farm living. From townie kids to farm kids unless than 4 months is quite exceptional. And considering the change of scope in their lives, they've had few serious accidents. It is a testament to your parenting skills, that they have gone so well. God bless ya'll!

I have 2 recommendations for your goat breeding. There is a respirator that will suck the extra secretions out of a new born. (Called a lamb/kid respirator) . And a milker kit called Utterly Ez. This will let you milk a goat that needs some pressure off the udder or teats, able to give the colostrum or milk to any of the babies you need to. These 2 items will greatly take a lot of worry off of you during kidding, and help your flock. 😍Check them out…

And you're right, when it gets dull change it. If you're mixing meds obviously, change the syringe. I know a lot of people say switch needles because of med contamination. Putting a used needle in a bottle of sterile meds can contaminate the meds, I think that's the reason for people saying change the needle. You're ok though. Doing a few and not the entire flock as long as no one is sick should be fine.

Hi guys love watching your videos just an idea you can collect some of the droppings and bring them to your vet to get it checked for parasites and worms and they will advise you on what dewormer you need also I can’t wait until Cason gets some more chicks and chickens they have helped him so much and as a mum to a child with additional needs every bit that helps is great
Interesting, Cog Hill family farm took samples to the vet and found out their animals had different parasites than they expected and needed to do different medicine and protocol. ( on their new farm )

Try a section of your cattle panel and put some concrete blocks on top and drag it around to try to smooth out the area dug up for the water lines.
I would recommend getting a little bit taller of a fence if it isn't temporary.
The goat you got from arms that jumps the fence should be called jumper

The best part of having a farm is utilizing what's available to get the job done! Leighton, sorry about your accident, I may not understand how it feels since I am a female, but I do have an older brother and growing up there were several times he had similar experiences in injuring himself. Checking for worms. Gums and eye rims are pink that's a good sign, also pressing on gums for 3 seconds how quickly pink returns determines their worm health. It should return in the blink of an eye for excellant worm control. Hope you don't mind me writing this stuff. You will eventually find d out what works for you.
