WOW , this was a very serious operation. I am so sorry that Gina had to go through that and I absolutely pray for her health and recovery. Yup I cried when we saw Gina towards the end of the video. It’s been said elsewhere about doing videos right now, but I would like to say thank you for opening up during this time of vulnerability.
Whether it was to keep yourself busy to stave off worry or a sense of ‘duty’ to us, it took courage to open your private life. For that I say thank you.
There is a huge community out here that care, hope, and love you all. To us, it is still a family event and we want nothing but the best for you three. We understand and would stand in line to give you all hugs of caring.
Thank you for the update Al! Gina so happy your surgery was a success and although you are tired you look well. Follow your doctor's and care team's directions. Don't over do it! The stress leading up to any procedure is the worst part for all involved. Glad all went well. Take care of your family, don’t worry about getting a video out for us. Family first, us second, we will always be here.
Oh boy, I found myself getting really emotional with this video. As a nurse, even I was quite overwhelmed by just how big a surgery this was. A massive amount of work done, a very long anaesthesia period, which is actually the part the body takes longest to get over. She's going to be tired for quite some time, don't let her try to bounce back too soon, she'll only go backwards and then it'll take even longer to get her normal self again. Thinking of you all 🥰
So very glad to see Gina is doing well! I start to cry watching what she is going through and for all of you. That is an extremely long surgery but it sounds like the surgeons, nurses and techs were a great team. Prayers of thanksgiving for all of them and for a successful surgery and for a blessed recovery. Make sure you are all getting your rest too Al. I’m sure you hear it a ton, but take care of you am Olivia too. God bless you all!
I 100% agree with Claire’s educational input regarding Gina’s recovery from all the surgical procedures at once under a very long anesthesia. Now praying for perfect healing during an uneventful recovery and for good reports on the tissues that were removed!

Wow, Al. Been there. Done that. Watched lots of UA-cams in the waiting room and hotel, including Lumnah Acres. Then, 28 days of recovery at a distant hospital and nursing home with me at the hotel.
These events tug you closer to your spouse. You become true battle buddies.

Yes, this was so hard to watch. It made me feel so sad knowing Gina was going through all of these surgeries at once. It is very brave of Gina, it can be very complicated for the doctors and it is always heartbreaking to be a witness to what is happening knowing you can’t do very much to help.

Exactly. Me too. I cried as well knowing how fearful one can be when facing such a surgery. We are so glad it is over with now and I feel so sorry that you both have had to deal with all this, but you are well-loved and prayed for. Blessings to all of you and to sweet Olivia. Prayers for Gina (and your whole family)! I suspect the "waiting" part is hard for you, Al. Even the ticket dispenser at the parking garage said, "Please wait"! I halfway expected to see you re-tiling the shower in the AirBnB. Hang in there, buddy!
My heart goes out to you having to wait that many hours. When my husband and I were in our early thirtys he had brain tumor and his surgery lasted 12 hours. The waiting was nerve racking but also you can't keep the fear at bay.
So grateful this part is over and now onto recovery. Praying this is the final one.

Thanks Al for sharing about Gina. Such personal stuff, and we care about her health. Share only what you are comfortable with. WOW, That was alot of surgery and more than was expected. Praying for Gina to rest and heal. Prayers for all of y'all. Pray you all get some much needed rest.
Gina's being so brave, I never knew the extent of her surgeries until the doctors came and explained. That was a lot of work on her body. So good to have a good supportive family around to take care. Take it slow and easy for the next few months and everything will be better.
i want to thankyou both for sharing this with us, your viewers . I can only imagine how stressful this situation would be for any family. We wish and pray for a speedy recovery for Gina.
In March of 2020, my husband had a sudden ruptured bowel and had emergency surgery. He came out with a colostomy bag, but was able to have it reversed 6 months later. It was a real "learning experience"! Lots of patience required, not something that you ever think about needing. Prayers being lifted up for all of you
thankful that Gina did well in the surgery, and is looking good, and getting better. We will continue to pray for her healing.

After having my wife going through at least 7 major operations and one myself I imagine all three of you are worn out! Take time to rest and the first thing you know Gina will be home giving change orders at the new house. Sending warm thoughts, hugs, and prayers to Gina, Al, and Olivia. Gina, hospital stays are no fun because the door is constantly being opened by staff to do different tasks, you never get to really sleep.... the staff are
always pinning, proding, and checking on you, and the bed isn't comfortable. Then you have to deal with the hospital food....it's not home cooked food 😝.
On a serious note, all your followers want to see you feeling your best, and healthy. Take it slow, don't rush, and before you know it you'll be back up on your feet.

My goodness Oliva looks so much like Gina so pretty. Good luck Gena. I had a hysterectomy, & 7 hernia's repaired 5 years ago and woweee what a surgery that was. Mine was NOTHING like hers but I STILL remember the pain. God's many blessings on ALL OF YOU. The lord is an amazing healer
