hi gotta say i love the video and appreciate the work. i have a question tho i train mma so i’m barefoot when i’m training mma. but for conditioning i do strength based lifting and explosive workouts. do you think the metcons would be good for it?

Thank you! If you are going to use them for CrossFit workouts then I would definitely go with the 8s! Not because the Zoom Turbo 2s are bad shoes, the 8s are just better all around shoes. Since the 8s came out, I have maybe worn the Turbos 3 times?

Is this good for weighted squats and deadlifts?
Metcon or romaleos which one is good?
They are both great shoes but they are designed completely different for different purposes. The Romaleos are purely a weightlifting shoe and shouldn’t be used for anything else. The Metcons are designed to be stable enough for weightlifting but flexible for running, jumping and other movement during CrossFit workouts.
It just depends on which type of activity you are doing

Yes! I would definitely recommend the Metcon 8! Those and the TYR CXT-1 are my top shoes right now! I just made a review video of those a couple days ago!

Is this blue the “old royal”?
All of the dark parts of the shoes are “Classic Charcoal” or “Dark Gray”

Hey! It’s a custom colorway that is mostly white, gray and silver accents
I think I just had the same problem as you. My eye registered this as blue.. it’s black haha
Kinda like the whole white and gold or black and navy dress situations 😂

How is the white color in terms of dirty until know?
You know, I thought it would be really bad but I’ve been really impressed! The pattern over the outsole that add durability is kind of an off white color so they have stayed looking really good!
