- Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite Unbox and Upgrade Part 2. Friend of mine had to have one after shooting mine, he got one and we upgraded it right off the back. Then took it to the Range to put tons of rounds through it.

I just bought the gold one. it's my first gun so I got to wait about 10 days before I get to take it home. been wanting a gun for years. definitely the gold one looks better.

Slight preference for the blue/silver, but both are absolutely sublime! My wife just got the blue one, and searching for videos on it is what brought me to this video.
Now that is a interesting video and hands down The blue has most eye appeal.

I like the gold. Just bought my daughter the other blue but the one I picked up has more of a dark gray with a blue tint to it. Looks awesome and I added the same compensator and charging ring.

I'm in the mood to buy a gun and went looking for the blue one. Looks like its sold out or no longer available. I sent an email to the distributor. If I hadn't have seen your video I'd be looking for a plain old black one.
I dicked around long enough that my state has now banned the Mark IV 22/45 Lite because it has a threaded barrel. I can still buy the other flavors of the Ruger Mark IV that have the non-threaded barrels. So asinine! My fault, could get off the fence. I also really like the Taurus TX22 Competition SCR. Again, now illegal because of barrel. Loved the 16 round capacity mags.

I’m a big fan of the gold because I have the all black with the gold accent gold trigger with a gold inside rod
I love them both. But i like the cut out pattern on the gold but the color on the blue. In a few months my first gun will for sure be one of these. Honestly best lookin stylish gun I've seen in a while

Hello I just got a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite Blue. I'm also getting the silver Muzzle Brake and silver Halo ring. The one you did for your friend looks great. It take a long time to get a handgun in Maryland . Took me a month and then 7 days .
Delaware is 5 mikes away . You walk in to a store buy a handgun leave with the gun.

@@BoostAFilmz California just tries to stop us from being able to get anything new. When they put this law into effect, the Glock gen 3s were the newest guns at the time. So anything after that, we cannot get. If you Google California approve gun roster you'll see what's available. It's dumb

I had the MK III a couple years ago, great little pistol. Foolishly sold it in a time of need but I have now corrected that error and put a MkIV on layaway. Not too sure about the optic and trigger kit but definitely getting that comp and ring. How much did the accessories run minus the optic?

Did you put a compensator on a .22?
H-Disconnected Error, Yes we did. While .22lr pistols and rifles aren't known for their muzzle rise, even a small amount of muzzle rise can make moving between targets quickly and accurately a challenge. So,...every little bit counts.

Unfortunately, I don’t. I got it from my local shooting range.
How do you shoot it without a Suppressor? I've never shot one without a suppressor.
I have Muscular Dystrophy and it affects my upper arm strength. I'm thinking about putting lighter spring on the bolt. Would that affect the way it fires and reloads the chamber. Thanks James
james everidge....Sorry to hear that. I’m not a gunsmith so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I say yes it will. Changing the spring rate with effect the cycling of the slide/bolt and the way it will chamber the next round.
Get a volquartsen trigger and firing pin
That will create a cleaner and lighter trigger pull so sure. Ya do that. But you still going to have the same recoil.

Your are not supposed to put the o-ring back on when using a compensator.
Ummm, what?? Yes you are, it’s what actually holds it in place when you line it up straight. If you’re talking about the metal washer, then no. You don’t put that back on and I didn’t. But the o-ring comes with the compensator and it’s suppose to be on.
@@BoostAFilmz than it must be a brand thing. I have purchased 2 and both directed me to remove the o ring specifically. An allen wrench was used to tighten it down.

Yes it is, but yet again for the 50th comment or so about the same thing, it wasn’t put on for that reason. Sometimes, people just like the way something looks. And that’s oka👍🏼
