Vehicles are 30 percent and higher now than they have ever been historically. $35,000 for a toyota tacoma and a full size is pushing 50,000 so yeah hard for most of us to afford

My fiance always tells them "buy a cheap 15 year old Tacoma with 4wd, buy a tent and you have everything you need". Obviously the expensive aftermarket isn't even necessary. Just respect the limits of your rig!

We were just there a month ago. Couldn’t make Alstrom Point do to heavy rains the night before. We watched two built Tacos for an hour pulling themselves out of the mud.😬. We did get 400 miles of the North Rim in though prior to the storms. Great video👍

I don't have a 4x4 but I sure hit Lake Powell with my kayak last year. The lake was shut down to motorized boats during the pandemic so I had the lake to myself. My first day out there was no wind and the water was smooth as glass. It was glorious. Man, I gotta say... someone burnt the hell outta them salmon briquets!

Northern Arizona/southern Utah is my muse and I love it there. Would love to see it all both by road and water. You might try to get up on the Paria plateau someday and view the Vermillion Cliffs from above.
I just moved to Utah from BC Canada (it is for my fiance's career), and IMMEDIATELY fell in love with this beautiful state of Utah! The desert, the canyons, the rocks, endless trails and the feeling of desolation is absolutely epic! I own a 4Runner TRD Off Road that has the Magnuson supercharger installed, among some other mods. It has been the best mod I have ever done! I will never sell my 4Runner! However lol, my husband was able to finally get his dream truck, the F-150 Raptor (they were too big to use for the trails where we lived in BC), and I have ordered a Bronco Raptor. Exclusively for play lol. Living in Utah has opened up the doors to high speed trail running and I am kind of already addicted 😂 Awesome video and I love your channel! Do you make your routes available? 350 - 500 miles off-road is exactly the sort of thing we love! That is going on an expedition while not having to leaving the country! Awesome! I'll be binge watching this channel today!

My brother has his own business back in BC, owning a shop that specializes in customizing Toyota 4x4s (of all ages) and restoring classic Toyota 4x4s. He regularly arranges paid guided overland tours through bestBC mountains, or even just a day of offroad adventures, for new clients looking to learn, and dor experienced clients looking to test their new build. The trails in BC are endless, whic can be overwhelming for some. My dad had a corporate career within Toyota Motor Corp (Japan), before he retired. Even my grandfather worked for Toyota lol, so Toyota is in our dna and my family have a great relationship lol. I'm an experiences overlander and good wheeler, but being new to Utah, I have gladly paid for a few guided adventures. Just non were 500 miles off-road lol
I am also from Ecuador. Been wanting to get a tacoma for the last 8 yrs, but I ended up going for a Ford maverick unfortunately. Figured since I live in Orlando I wouldn’t really have the chance to do many cool off roading trips. Hoping to be able to move away from Florida and eventually build a tacoma.
Powdercoated may be hard to do but if you live in an area with snow and they put down salt in the winter coating your frame at least every 2-3 would be super helpful.

Ah yes definitely wish we had checked the drive shaft before we left. We checked fluid levels and suspension stuff but didn't shake the drive shaft
I have 2001 gmc Sierra 1500 off road z71. I plan to tow behind my class c next year when I head down that way to play winter 2022.

Hey! We don’t make our routes available due to some bad past experiences but they are pretty easy to find on the different trail apps out there ;)
