I saw Brad's view of this previously. I have been following both of you for about the same time. Brad's channel is great, but very technical. You, by contrast, are more atmospheric in nature. I really like your theatrical approach and your music choices are amazing. I really appreciate the contrast of your two personalities. Thanks for bringing us along.
Nice to be Shaun. One call on the radio from the driver's seat and Brad arrives with a chainsaw to clear his path. Another call on the radio and Brad extracts his winch line for him... And puts it away! Man, I wanna overland with Brad!! 😂 Just kidding... Loving both your videos...
Shaun, your videography never fails to impress. You capture everything someone wants to watch in an off road travel video. Glad to be a subscriber and always look forward to the next video. You nail it every time!
Really you don’t want a file, you want a chainsaw chain sharpener. They have them for like $20 at Harbor Freight they clamp in place and let you run the chain over a guide and resharpen an entire chain in less than half the time. It used to save us hundred of bucks in chains when we landscaped and ran into nails/fence in old stumps and had to resharpen a dozen times.
This is where I grew up. Still say it's some of best ever wheeling. Still, gold to be found with a metal detector. Those roads are testament to the lust for the wealth that built Meraca.
I feel like I owe you for clearing the weight for me. because I'm getting ready to do that trail here in the spring and early summer. Thanks to you and Brad's inspiration👍🏻💪🏻
Love your videos they are awesome but one small suggestion. Try warming up tortillas on the fire or at least the grill before eating it will taste alot better believe me.😅
You guys should have stopped and got tacos at a true, traditional Carniceria. The best..A lot of times when we go camping around here we pick up the local Carnitas special. 1 lb of carnitas, a qt of rice, a qt of whole or refried beans, a pint of fresh salsa, fresh guac, and two dozen homeade corn or flour tortillas. $20. Enough food for 2/3 days!
You and Brad do an awesome job of teaching and showing us how it's done. I highly recommend a Stihl 2in1 file for the chain on your chainsaw. Even an occasional user can keep a sharp chain. Awesome scenery 👌 👍 😎 Wonder if an Earthroamer could follow you guys around?
Shaun: Oops! Gotcha! Haha. If you haven't been stuck, you haven't been 4-wheeling! I have to say, that hat fits you perfectly and is definitely your style! Brad's...not so much. I just got Onx Off Road and need to learn how to use it. as I live in AZ, I would someday like to visit parts of that Byway route. I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work and welcome to AZ. NO VEHICLE BREAKS THIS TIME!!
We lived in Tucson like 3 time back in the 70's.. LOTS of wide open Nothin for MILES out there.. we would go to Old Tucson a lot an watch them film a lot of old western movies. Met Micheal Landon an a few others.. Thanks For The Ride !! ❤
The trailer I really want to do is that one that you did a while back up to Alaska where you had to cut your way through and make several different trips back there that looks like the most epic trail ever. But that was amazing that's what got me hooked on your channel
The hat! Oh no! When i first discovered your channel, months ago, i asked about some aerial/driving montages and you pointed me in the right direction, i found them and loved them. Would it be to much to suggest, if, hopefully when, you get around to make another one of those, could the sound (music) include engine noises and radio chatter? I would loop that for ambience on my TV for a long long time...
Love watching your videos I think you do such a good job with filming. I have a 2017 Ram Rebel which I love other then my air suspension which I have had nothing but problems with in the winter. I would love nothing more then to have Epic Adventure Outfitters do an air suspension delete with Bilstein shocks maybe one day I'll be able to afford to do it.
I really enjoy watching your content Shaun and both of your trucks are badass! May I ask what the song @ about the 1:30 mark is? Can’t find it in your description and Shazam couldn’t find it either. Thanks In advance! Happy wheeling and safe travels sir!
Sean. Thank you for all you do. Extremely motivational.!! Thoughts on diesel vs. Gas for overlanding.? I'm going full time soon. Ford vs. Chevy diesel.??
im fealing weird. im french canadien and i follow you since 3 year now and for the first time the vidéo start in frenche. it was so weird. i will keep lisen to your video in english but cool to see that you open your horizon. really good content as usual and sorry for my bad english
I love those flex era 4s. I have them in the same spot you do too on the bumper and two as Ditch's lights. But I think instead of getting the Titans I'm going to make a light bar out of eight flex4s it would cost about the same. One of the sales guys at KC I said it would be cool he hasn't seen anyone do that yet he showed me the light bar bracket to use for it. But I still love those Titans they are sick and I was jealous that Brad when he got his before they release them LOL. Add bragged to him about me getting custom KC Christmas ornaments they gave from their tree.. in Brad was like oh they've given me quite a few over the years .. and I said you win dang it !😂 I used to live in Williams a while back.. I do need to go check out their new place that Fani kept telling me to come see. I just don't like going there without any money because I always want to buy something I cannot go to kc without finding anything lol I say to myself the entire way there I'm not going to buy anything I'm not going to buy anything and then I walk out with new lights 😂
Nice to see my neck of the woods. But I have to laugh at the kayak. There's water to kayak in but ... And yes arizona has elevation and it can get cold.
These videos are awesome. How long did it take you guys to do the whole thing? Would love to do sections at a time in the future since l live in Phoenix now. Course my videos wouldn’t be near as entertaining, lol
What PSI do you normally run on road? I have the same truck will be set up soon with the GFC v2 in February… when doing a lot of offroad I run 25psi but the back and forth to air up is a pain and having the tire light on all the time is frustrating requiring 75 psi to turn the light off…. But just curious what you like
At that point honestly I would’ve pulled the kayak down and strapped it to the front or rear bumper lol. Better to take some rubbing on the kayak than to lose the whole roof rack and possibly damage the roof.
Great vid. I have a folding Oru kayak so I don't have to carry one on the outside of my rig. Way better IMO, folds up in just a few minutes and very compact compared to rolling with a normal kayak.
What happens when you have to back down a trailer on a shelf road!? I haven't even finished the video ... longtime viewer since beginning .. but has to ask! Thanks.
Have you ever thought about combining the film from both drivers and releasing the odd and even parts of the video on each perspective channel. Just something I thought seeing both of you are releasing footage from the same trip.
People laugh when I talk about the wind. Be careful of washes. Especially in the valley, Phoenix, Tucson or even Kingman area. Driving along and all of a sudden you sink into water.
Hi !! someone know how to stop this robotic translation voice ? I'm french and it's horrible, I prefer the original version even if my english is bad. It's better !! thank you

Invest in a chainsaw file. That will make life much less annoying in those moments.
Just buy a new chain
Really you don’t want a file, you want a chainsaw chain sharpener. They have them for like $20 at Harbor Freight they clamp in place and let you run the chain over a guide and resharpen an entire chain in less than half the time. It used to save us hundred of bucks in chains when we landscaped and ran into nails/fence in old stumps and had to resharpen a dozen times.
These trees appear to be mesquite trees. It’s a hard wood to cut even with a sharp chain.
I would like to thank you and Brad for cutting and clearing my Javalina hunting route. I owe you 😂. Keep the adventures going
This is where I grew up. Still say it's some of best ever wheeling. Still, gold to be found with a metal detector.
Those roads are testament to the lust for the wealth that built Meraca.
Me too
I feel like I owe you for clearing the weight for me. because I'm getting ready to do that trail here in the spring and early summer. Thanks to you and Brad's inspiration👍🏻💪🏻

I'm definitely not missing a beat I've been watching every one of your videos when you release it and Brad's I watch Brad's version the other day. 🤟🏻
The tacos was a big step up from the Ramen soup you started the adventure with. 😂
I can tell that Shaun still truly needs to experience real Mexican cuisine. We take it for granted living around here. Inexpensive, super simple.
You and Brad make literally the best offroad content out there!!!!!! 👏
Glad you're enjoying it!
Looks amazing. Would love to explore this route someday. As always your videography leaves me in awe.

Or carry a couple extra chains.
That brush/wood you guys were cutting looked really hard and dead.
Shaun: Oops! Gotcha! Haha. If you haven't been stuck, you haven't been 4-wheeling! I have to say, that hat fits you perfectly and is definitely your style! Brad's...not so much. Your audio edits continue to control the dynamics of your storytelling - it's awesome!
Happy new year, Shaun!
Thanks, happy new year to you too!
Brad be looking like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber with that cowboy hat on. 😅
You suit that Cowboy hat Shawn.
Fantastic collaboration gents. Looking forward to the next episodes!
Was great seeing you in a lot of the areas I explore regularly in Southern AZ.
Absolutely incredible vistas, it's like your on a different planet
Happy new year Shaun.

Great video. Glad you caught your hat.
KC ambassadors, always showing off their new Titan, Amber’s. A little jealous here with my Pro 6. Good video you guys. Have a blast
My Two favorites UA-cam channels together 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
“This is a good little detour” literally every road they’re on haha
Great video as always. Enjoy your time in AZ. Love the SW and the desert. Greetings from central Texas.
Great video, I love the frameing of your drone shots. Learn a lot from you.
That dude in the white hat for the winch/save! Hahaha! The Good Guy! In all the old westerns, the Good Guys wear white hats.
Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Loved watching your adventure and being reminded of the BDR. Awesome trip.
The trailer I really want to do is that one that you did a while back up to Alaska where you had to cut your way through and make several different trips back there that looks like the most epic trail ever. But that was amazing that's what got me hooked on your channel
I think a trip like that is on everyone’s bucket list 😊
Intro song is on point 👌
Another great one, always spectacular.......
Thanks for the share
🇿🇦🤙👍

Shaun, incredible work as always sir! 🍻
Another awesome video! The trail can be full surprises
in Arizona, we carry loppers and punning snips.
In Michigan as well. Always leaving the trail better for the next guy
Some limb risers from the hood/grille guard to the camper would be useful
Loving this series!
Hi just wanted to say you have absolutely fantastic video and the music you put on to them 😮❤❤❤
We called that tight section "the trail of tears" when we reluctantly drove through it couple years back! 😅
CRAWLING great videos shawn

In those hats you guys look like a couple of trail weary cowboys except, the horses are under the hood. Awesome adventure !
Another great one, thanks!
Let’s go me and my gf love this series!!
I must say Arizona is very beautiful
You should make an eastern USA trip!!
I really enjoy watching your content Shaun and both of your trucks are badass!

Sean. Thank you for all you do.
Extremely motivational.!! Thoughts on diesel vs. Gas for overlanding.? I'm going full time soon. Ford vs. Chevy diesel.??
We have 02 cummins set up and yes it has pen stripping
im fealing weird. im french canadien and i follow you since 3 year now and for the first time the vidéo start in frenche. it was so weird. i will keep lisen to your video in english but cool to see that you open your horizon. really good content as usual and sorry for my bad english
That hat is totally you--very Hollywood!

7:06 😳 it’s that bridge from season 5 episode 5 of breaking bad?
Oh man I hope so!
Hey Shaun :) Would you mind sharing what radio station you are using? The voice is always so clear even on recording.
Shawn ❤ shelf roads
Hi from New Zealand.I have a Ram 2500 and love the camper setup. What rig is that and who makes it?
Nice to see my neck of the woods. But I have to laugh at the kayak. There's water to kayak in but ... And yes arizona has elevation and it can get cold.
Sometimes you just have to say Bucket!
Great music.. I keep expecting Clint Eastwood to come out of the bush with a cigar between his lips.. You boys need some help?
These videos are awesome. How long did it take you guys to do the whole thing?
Would love to do sections at a time in the future since l live in Phoenix now. Course my videos wouldn’t be near as entertaining, lol
Awesome channel God bless...
You'd think that you would put your kayak on Brad's roof centered. Then you both can hammer through the trees.
I've gotta know, whos flying the drone I've been hooked on your videos for months now and idk how you do it
What PSI do you normally run on road? Was the road closed Dugas?
Hey!
how do you guys manage fuel?
do you carry any backup for it ??
Dude i feel like im watching a clint Eastwood movie. Lol
What happens when you have to back down a trailer on a shelf road!? I haven't even finished the video ... longtime viewer since beginning .. but has to ask! Thanks.
You have a long night. :)
U don’t have a rear locker on the 3500 would it have made a difference?
7:08 is that where the train heist was filmed in Breaking Bad?
What replacement radius arms are those?...
MetalCloak
So do you still have the jeep or are you using a just the ram?
Have you ever thought about combining the film from both drivers and releasing the odd and even parts of the video on each perspective channel. Just something I thought seeing both of you are releasing footage from the same trip.
I think your vehicle is slightly oversized, shall you with Gladiator again?
What kinda coms do you use I ride sxs and looking for something to talk to other people in are group with what works best for?
I keep saying im moving to arizona this utah cold sucks.
People laugh when I talk about the wind. Be careful of washes. Especially in the valley, Phoenix, Tucson or even Kingman area. Driving along and all of a sudden you sink into water.
If you could only have one overland vehicle would it be your Jeep or the Dodge setup?
Toyota!!! He told me in secret 😅
@ lol perfect.
What happened to part 2 and 3
What phone case is that?
I can make money on ONX from the trails I run here in New Mexico?
С наступающим Новым годом, я знаю и Рождеством. А знаю у 25 празднуют, но только 7 января будет.
My goodness this guy is killing me with how he uses a chainsaw 😂 wonder if her knows it's not self sharing...oh yeah he's from California
The saw was just out of oil so it wasn't working good.
Lmao with the hats.
Dommage en France 🇫🇷 il ne fonctionne pas
If y'all are gonna be cartin around chainsaws y'all need to know how to sharpen saw chains.
❤
Don’t get me wrong but the Gladiator is the star of your show. The pickup is nice but it’s not the trail wrecker.
Did you seriously camp in the middle of the road? Definitely not good off road etiquette, kind of surprised to see this. 😮
Hi !! someone know how to stop this robotic translation voice ? I'm french and it's horrible, I prefer the original version even if my english is bad. It's better !! thank you
Ok I resolve the problem !! 🤙
Spanish translation was not so good, neither optional. Please review next time. 🙁
You can change the language in the video settings. It’s auto generated by UA-cam.
Problem with hauling a trailer offroad
