He orchastrated political assasinations with a clinical perfection...and demeanour and grandeuer only purported by Blacks who felt that their blackness could only be negated by emulating western Standards..inferiority complex..
I have been waiting for this. The man former Member of Parliament Sir Charles Njonjo, was indeed my hero even though I was disappointed that he intentionally did not write his biography.
Sometimes in 1980 i was walking from uhiru to kawangware when i and my uncle kinungi kamande came across a stalled fiat 850.the driver was a then famous doctor maina who was supposed to be in jail for fraud.the bombshell, its sir Charles who made a phone call to the o.i.c ordering him to release dr.maina.later i got a job at the k.c.a.a. in airport operations where sir charles had a lovely cessna 402 aptly registered as 5Y-HCN(hon Charles njonjo) but leased to a private charter company and flown by a former air force soldier very well qualified.but while using it he(sir Charles )would never allow himself to be flown by this african pilot but would use a barely competent english young fellow 23 years old named Stewart who loved near verical takeoffs for thrill after getting sir Charles off board.its around these circles that i heard sir Charles would overthrow the government on August 5of 1982
I knew this man was a nightmare to many even moi himself....during the 82 coup moi just hoped that Njonjo not be the one who led the coup coz he could have actually taken the government early in the morning and detained moi...some says moi had even gone on hiding
Not only the coup of 1982, that took place changed then Former President Moi/Nyayo, it also changed how the country was goverrned, in terms of governance, until the end of nyayo era.
The biggest mistakes that Charles Mugane Njonjo made was he broke the 48 laws of power states that Never outshine your master ask the then French finance minister who held a party by using stolen funds kilimramba vibaya sana 😂😂😂, the then Seychellois President James Renne told President Moi that Njonjo together with the Police Commissioner at that time Benjamin Gethi AKA Ben Gethi were planning to overthrow Moi's government in 1983, the Muthemba affair that tainted his image having been found in possession of Kenya Air Force ammunition, back and forth by fighting against Vice President Mwai Kibaki in 1980, resigning from the position of Attorney General and becoming a Minister thinking that it had the same aura as his previous position, flying to Britain privately and coming back to 🇰🇪 during the aftermath of the attempted coup, the Tom Mboya assassinations claim etc. So all in all I learnt that Put GOD first everytime, power comes and goes, you will be replaced like nobody's business, you will loose a lot of friends baada ya kuingia kwa ngori, what goes around comes around, forgiveness is key NEVER HOLD GRUDGES.
Where are they now, with all that greed, looting and holier than thou designer clothes? 6ft under with billions left behind for beneficiaries that never participated for looting!! Very useless and bad legacy behind.
NJONJO the single most selfish human being Kenya ever had. He shouldn’t have been our first AG. Argwings Kodhek had made legit claim to that position by his relentless defense of the Mau Mau fighters. It was Mzee Jomo’s worst mistake. Kenya is where it is today because of NJONJO’s machinations.
Yu know brother we are promoting ukoloni and teaching our children that speaking English is pride when it's what contributing to our demise, have u seen a swahili privaschoolbin Europe?
Enoch Sikolia, you are wrong about Njonjo, he really helped multiparty politics because he funded them. So it is not in the 2005 referendum alone but in several others.
I'm where I am supposed to be as a lover of history.
You can say that again
He exemplified and epitomised the true character of an imperialist puppet. He served the neocolonialist project very well and was immensely rewarded

This true and Moi staged a coup against himself in 1982 to silence them
Njonjo, the king maker. How did he end!? The king maker is not the king!
Under the shadow of blind goddess...
Charles Mugane Njonjo played the role of Governor Royce in the series of Designated Survivor thinking that had the all the powers.
Powerful, but the title could have been better🙂

He came back to the limelight in 1998 when he was appointed as director of the kenya wildlife services. Not 2005 during the referèndum campaign
Njonjo the master mind of tom mboya assassination 😢
Nope, Njonjo was not a killer for those who knew him well.
Is it true he once referred to moi as passing cloud?
He convinced the Kiambu mafia that Moi was only a stop gap president_... but little did he know that usione Simba amelala ukamwamsha
I have a good place for you to capture in your documentary videos. Very sure it will be loved by youtubers

why did you change that "walking barefoot in statehouse" title
Njonjo went to Alliance, He Reopened Francis House
Mi nilikuwa Arthur House, neighbour wa Francis House 💪
You did not tell us how he ended,
Mr manyoras professional views are always BS.

Did he have the power to put Kibaki as the president after Kenyarra's death?
??? 😂😂😂 HELLO. BROTHER THEY'RE ALL BRITISH KLONES AND KLUNES ?😎😎😎
