A two part story...
Thanks for Part One. I hope you incorporate the George Morara angle into Part Two.
I came across this name Tom Mboya as a history student during my secondary school days in Anglophone Cameroon. He was a great man who was eliminated. There was this other guy Dr Robert Ouko,a brilliant kenyan minister of foreign affairs who was also assasinated in a despicable manner during the Daniel Arap Moi regime. I actually followed this story intensely on VOA in the 1990s when short wave broadcasting was the technology at the time as i scrambled through various frequencies to get international news from international broadcasters. The world turned upside down with the coming of the internet.
ive been camping here for days, documentaries done to perfection. Bravo sikolia!!!!!!!
Tom mboya was a very brilliant man. He posed a real threat to the powers be at that time. He was the next big thing and this was unsettling to them. I have listened to many recordings of him, and I'd say Mboya was way ahead of time. Kenya would have been on a completely different trajectory had this man got a chance to be president. The best that Kenya never had!
We never know what would have happened...but I think you are right. He was a very sharp man.
Kenya always get the worst to lead them, apart from Kibaki.
Imagine he died in 1969.......weeh Kenyan game of thrones together with the CIA
Uiyij
Sufficient time has gone past that a full judicial review and independent investigation should be done to ascertain what happened to this brilliant leader and man of the people. Complete the story of his great life Kenyans, Africans and indeed the world are owed answers to how his murder was plotted and executed. Thanks to Kenyan Historian team for documenting this story.
Thank you Sikoli n Prof M.Munene.

Tom Mboya, a man who lived ahead of his time.
Great work bwana shikolia
Look forward to watching one about George Katama Mkangi.

Great work Enock
Superb work on this story
The brightest ✨ of Kenyan of Africa was switched off 😮what if Tomboya and JM Kariuki lived were here today??? Kenya 🇰🇪 would be a better place now😮
Hi Enoch sorry I saw this late ,keep uploading
Love from 🇿🇼Zimbabwe
Wow! Good job. Been looking for such. I really had a special connection to Case Files by Denis Onsagira and this gives me that vibe.
I love who you narrate. Am here to stay.
Please cover recent cases as well.
I think the big man was Kenyatta himself, otherwise to whom did Mboya pose as a threat? Your narration is for sure quite unique, very intriguing
I am you top fan bro..keep them coming..
Splendid stuff
insightful video
Good kenyan vibe documentary
Thank you, Tom Mboya, for being a beautiful human who believed in an equal Kenya. Thank you, Enock Sikolia, for this masterpiece.... 💔🇰🇪
nice history
Passed you here with your crew shooting this episode. Nice
Charles Njonjo was the big man. He's the mastermind behind Tom Mboya death
Do for msando we will love to know the truth
Great documentaries. If only you could talk slowly, add better background music/sound that resonates with the storyline. Anyways!
Tom Mboya's political ambitions should not be overlooked. He had just managed to have parliament lower the age requirement for presidentcy. He was sure he was on track to be president after Kenyatta. He was assassinated immediately upon arrival from Adis Ababa OAU meeting.
Continue Resting In Peace Mboya!
Too sad
Those who involved in his murder will never have peace forever 😢
Jomo Kenyatta.. Jomo kenyatta!! So you also died?? Your plate is full of blood..
Rest well Jasuba
Waah dnt dair joke wth gvor
The “big man” at 12:00
That is according to RFK junior.
Pio Gama Pinto and Malcolm X were often in correspondence and were assassinated just days apart in 1965. Four years later, Tom Mboya met a similar fate. What these three figures had in common was that their political ideology seemed to lean more towards the USSR.
It is, therefore, not a stretch to postulate that MI5 and the CIA might have been the ones who took them out, just as they did with Patrice Lumumba.
No way! Mboya did not lean towards Russia at any time of his life. Mboya's killing was due to local political power struggles.
now i know the name of Mboya's killer
Only 39 years 😢
Robert Ouko too was killed by his close friends (THE BIG MAN)
Ben Gethi fired the shot Njenga was a decoy
So why didn't Njenga deny the offence? Why did he pass on the blame to the Big Man? In any case it doesn't matter much who fired the shots. What matters is the one who sent him.
Ben Gethi is the one who shot JM Kariuki but not mboya.
Ben Gethi was the actual killer of TM and JM Kariuki
When you hear Dr.Oburu Odinga talks like that in Ogollas funeral,Nyanza people are always traumatized with all these deaths of their sons who are next to power, but why Nyanza people why 😢
No wonderr Moi never trusted Njonjo
The big man was Njonjo
Then why didn't his boss Kenyatta take appropriate action? The big man was Jomo Kenyatta. That's where the buck stopped.
@@georgeodhiambo598 ...Njonjo was the one running government as an Attorney General...Jomo was very old and he was jst a signatory for any decisions made by Njonjo....so he will not do anything for Njonjo
Ali tafta dem anaitwa MUM LARGE WA KIBRA,She has an amazing story
Anastory gani
Is that njenga living after all they did
Tell us who sent the assassin!
Luos life matter!
Ask those two people who have been to power since independence 😮😮😮😮
Lotion and perfume kwa chemist......... make it make sense buana 🤣
Charles Njonjo Tom Mboyas best man at his wedding leading the cover-up by GoK.
This guy is very dramatic 😂 but thanks for educating us about Kenya all African countries are the same smfh
**njenga was never hanged......he went to lusaka....become a drunkard.....
Really
And met with George Morara, who later whistle blew about his appearance in Zambia. And the best is history about George Morara

I thought revolvers can only hold 6 bullets yet the 'investgators' found one with 7...hmmmm
He he... One of the witnesses produced by the prosecution saw Njenga shoot Mboyà and stood there watching Njenga disappear... He he... You get? Another saw him shoot, boarded a matatu, and went home to Githunguri, and after an hour or so akarudi Nairobi... he he...
@KenyanHistorian smells of a cover up hehee..but what can we do
FACT: Mboya sponsored a number of students from Luo Nyanza to study in American Universities. One of these students was Obama snr. Dad to Barack Obama.
❤️💔🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Not only Luo Nyanza but Kenya , including Wangari Mathai among others
