Those of us coming of age in the 80s were very lucky. Such great artists and songs. This one is a great example, even if it was not a massive hit! I feel for kids growing up today...my kids included
you probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Dane Zechariah Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
can't wrap my head around it either, a song with substance and amazing vocals but of course with the low views...there are a small handful of us who know good music when we hear it
Our loves the sound Of broken skies 🌌 Too blind to see What lies inside We love 💖 what shines Before our eyes 👀 Why can’t we learn What hides? Waiting on the last train 🚆 Flicking through the highlights Livin in a suitcase 🧳 Positively uptight Kissing 😽 in the full moon 🌕 Drowning in the sunshine ☀️ Walking on a tightrope And everyone is gonna be just fine ‘Cause I believe in your heart 💔 of gold Automatically sunshine 🌞 Yeah glitter ✨ glitter ✨ everywhere Like working on a goldmine And we believe that there’s a heart ❣ beats on In the dark of the close down Yeah glitter ✨ glitter ✨ everywhere Like working in a goldmine And time not tied Is time to feed We lose our pride We spill our seed The worst of us Escape so slow The best of us Just goes They’ll make you work for everything Never let it roll Never let it swing Take control and let your heart ❣ sing 🎤
This song has aged very well. Nice video. Still Lovely to listen to after all these years .... great voicings in the chordal arrangement ... crisp production. One of his/their best songs! Thanks for uploading.
I've always liked a lot of his chord choices but I think the production has aged like rotten cheese. Like most mainstream 80s records, that jazz-funk digital horror makes me feel pukey.
My favourite Aztec camera single by far.!!!!!!!!!. Wonderful year for 80s music, after that year, 80s quality music went down hill after that in my humble opinion. But what an era.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Saw Aztec Camera & Roddy loads of times in Glasgow First time was in a pub just off the Mitchell Library with about 10 people The lad is still an incredible musician and brilliant songwriter
I have to say I am guilty of having completely overlooked the lyrics of this amazing band/singer back in the 80s. I seemed to be after melodies then. blown away by this song and How men are! Really talented guy! A bard!
I love this song! September 1988 is 30 years ago now!!! I bought love on CD and taped it for my Sony Walkman on a TDK MA-X 46 Cassette which I still have! I remember Roddy used Schecter guitars and I never noticed back then his black Tele has 3 pickups like the Nashville style Fenders now.
Tanto tiempo buscando la canción la oí , vine de una¡¡:o ESTA CANCIÓN ES UN POEMA ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ que intro : una pizca de nostalgia + de aventura + poesia + musica =ARTE
Great Moog bass layered over the slap bass great summer radio song .... seems to be 'everything but the kitchen sink' style production which was popular in the 80's.

just genius! they don't make 'em like they used ta, i'm so grateful for being a kid in the 80's - real deal (not like today when music is so plasticky)

Aztec Camera is just one of those bands that have been forgotten over the years, but in 100 years this video will probably have 100 million views.

This tune is massively understated. One of the best tunes from 1988.
Correction: 1987

Our loves the sound
Of broken skies 🌌
Too blind to see
What lies inside
We love 💖 what shines
Before our eyes 👀
Why can’t we learn
What hides?
Waiting on the last train 🚆
Flicking through the highlights
Livin in a suitcase 🧳
Positively uptight
Kissing 😽 in the full moon 🌕
Drowning in the sunshine ☀️
Walking on a tightrope
And everyone is gonna be just fine
‘Cause I believe in your heart 💔 of gold
Automatically sunshine 🌞
Yeah glitter ✨ glitter ✨ everywhere
Like working on a goldmine
And we believe that there’s a heart ❣ beats on
In the dark of the close down
Yeah glitter ✨ glitter ✨ everywhere
Like working in a goldmine
And time not tied
Is time to feed
We lose our pride
We spill our seed
The worst of us
Escape so slow
The best of us
Just goes
They’ll make you work for everything
Never let it roll
Never let it swing
Take control and let your heart ❣ sing 🎤
Such an incredible track , so much emotion , one of my all time faves 👍
