Their friendship never ended though. No 'artistic differences ' . George just needed to progress professionally and Andrew understood. Truly unique situation in music. Great friendship too.

I was just past my 17th birthday and I was a high school student. Now I'm in my mid-50s, but my heart is always missing the 1980s.
As I was lying listening to George Michael songs the other night, I lay back against my pillow, looked up to the ceiling and said out loud, "I can't believe your gone George, I just can't believe it". - Fly high George, you really were the sweetest soul. ❤️
I'm still having a difficult time believing that this star is no longer shining. He was an incredible singer/songwriter. Miss you George, R.I.P.

George is one of those people that you keep forgetting is dead.
He left such an impression on music and so many good memories for everyone it feels like hes still with us. So sad that isnt the case.
George came into my life at 18. I knew all the songs & learned how to dance following George's moves, mostly the hips. I still know every word to every song & you're right, it's hard to believe he's not with us anymore. Thanks to all his wonderful music & videos like this, he'll live on forever in our hearts

The 80s were the best years for music and fashion and George micheals captured the 80s with his great looks and voice , i never thought those days would end but now they are just a dim memory and it saddens me because i know they will never be repeated and people like George only happens once in a life time .

When George Michael sang Somebody To Love at the concert for Freddy Mercury, I realized at that moment that he was one of the most talented singers of all time and he truly did Freddy justice. Freddy was, is and will always be the greatest RnR frontman of all time, but George Michael was up there as well.
