Anti lag pours fuel into the cylinders when off power which ignites in the exhaust and keeps the turbo spooling so they have pressure when he goes on power again. Launch control makes rpm bounce on ideal launch rpm and builds turbo pressure when standing still
@thepurplelingo . . . on an event the crews travel between stages on what are known as "transport" or "touring" stages - open public roads. It's part of what makes rallying so much fun . . .
damn rallying has changed so much from the good old days of actual hard bone knuckle driving by legends like ari vatanen....i still pop the old vhs tapes every other sunday just to see the magic...wrc has become so open....having all these lengthened shifters and handbrakes etc....they should make it a rule that they should all remain as in a production vehicle
I didn't even know there was 3 Anti-Lag options. I only have my Link g4 set up in my RA for on/off with a toggle. I haven't figured out the flat shifting yet. I don't think it's used often in Time attack tho so w/e...
So where can I go to order one of those steering wheels, I found some carbon fiber NRG parts. Just want to make sure i'm getting the best parts for that kind of money
so that car does have a clutch then? you only use it for taking off i imagine...and in order to get into neutral, you have to push the lever ahead until it gets into zero?
rally cars are driven on the road to go to the next ss (special stage) or more simply, course... there are some of the videos showing that, just search it
i jumped my subie once. it landed fine most of the jumps.. small jumps.. not like these guys no way. small small. inches inches. bent a strut rod though. oh well. live and learn.
performance mods woudl not meet emissions some of them. i want anti lag.. then get into a tunnel when everyone is close.. and let it fly.. hahahahahahaahaha
lol i swear the subaru is everyone favourite rally car...
Never a bad thing to say about Subies. Amazing cars. Stock or completely modified.
