@FloridaGeorgia you're right! I've enjoyed them and will continue to do so. 🙂👍🏿 I hope they show more of them. I'm old enough to remember when Soul Train originated in Chicago. I actually attended some of the first episodes back in the early 70's. There I was in black in white, looking as ashy as the day was long, as Soul Train wasn't filmed in color back then. 🤣😅 We all knew Don Cornelius as one of the many DJ/ on-air radio personalities at WVON (The Black Giant). Maaaaan! It was such a great time! When I watched Soul Train in the early 80's, I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Each show was on for about 15-20 minutes, with no commercials. Facts! We all looked forward to "The Soul Train line!" 😎
I remember Daphne so well specifically because of her dance style and her great hair.. It's wonderful to have a sit down to finally get to know some of these iconic Soul Train stars I remember so well from my youth.
Love, love, love this feature! I wasn’t familiar with Ms Daphne, but I loved seeing her path from teenage Soul Train dancer to Executive managing $20BILLION in spend. Inspiring!
Ms Daphne Davis Harvey is the real deal. She was not only a star on the stage but also a trail blazer in the business world. Hands down the best boss I ever had. My new motto is "people try you so you just gotta let em know".
Miss Daphne…thank you so much for sharing your story. You ARE a part of history. Also thanks go out to the content creator because you are preserving history!!!
Such a true success story!! Definitely an inspiration!! She surely demonstrated what being a person of color can accomplish!! Yes indeed I remember her! Beautiful hair and smile, just always looking like she was having so much fun and apparently she was!! Love your journey Daphne!! GOD bless!!💖🥰🙏
Daphane thank you so much for sharing you aged well , hope the best for you so much class .Congratulations on your retirement much love to you and your accomplishments I am sure are very much appreciated. "

daphne, in my opinion, is the epitome of those disco/post disco/boogie funk eras mainly because her age was what the music industry was aiming those records towards and she was there just groovin. this is excellent! thanks again, BET.
Late 70s early 80s dancer wonderful to see her and looking damn good in 2023. Wow, proud of her recently retiring as an executive at NBC UNIVERSAL nice
Love not just the stories of the ST dancers' experience dancing on a historic television music show, but their influences in making opportunities for the black community. Love the fact that Daphne saw the need and make it happen! Bless you wnd others who have used their fame and experiences for positive change.
Yeah,ST was a part-time gig,I believe they taped several shows on weekends ( sorta like being in the Army Reserves and Guard, weekend warriors ) some made connections & deals in the entertainment industry thanks to being on Soul Train. At least the smart ones did.
This was a great time to be alive and these former Soul Train dancers are a reflection of that time. Beautiful, talented, intelligent, and beaming with light!
Daphne, thank you so much for the great memories! I grew up watching Soul Train in The Chi! I continued to watch it during the early 80's when I was in the Marine Corps. You were fantastic! #SoulTrainForever! 😎👋🏿👍🏿🙌🏿🫶
I watched the show in the late 80s while I was in the navy. First we'd watch-SOUL-TRAIN-then Yo Mtv Raps. LOL. GOOD times back then, not like today tho. LOL.

Daphne looks great and has an amazing story! I remember her standing out to me on Soul Train because of her energetic dancing. I enjoyed hearing all she accomplished after Soul Train as well.
I was a young teenager when she was on Soul Train. Probably one of my crushes on the show. What I do notice is that even when the young ladies was from famous families you wouldn't know it. They didn't walk around with their heads in the clouds looking below at the men. She seems very pleasant to be around.
I'd love to hear more "I was a Soul Train dancer" stories from all of the eras. History and great memories! 😎👏🏿🙌🏿💪🏿🙏🏿
You know right here on this channel, there are a couple of dozen "I was a Soul Train dancer" stories from all of the eras.
