      @FloridaGeorgia you're right! I've enjoyed them and will continue to do so. 🙂👍🏿 I hope they show more of them. I'm old enough to remember when Soul Train originated in Chicago. I actually attended some of the first episodes back in the early 70's. There I was in black in white, looking as ashy as the day was long, as Soul Train wasn't filmed in color back then. 🤣😅 We all knew Don Cornelius as one of the many DJ/ on-air radio personalities at WVON (The Black Giant). Maaaaan! It was such a great time!
      When I watched Soul Train in the early 80's, I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Each show was on for about 15-20 minutes, with no commercials. Facts! We all looked forward to "The Soul Train line!" 😎

    I remember Daphne so well specifically because of her dance style and her great hair.. It's wonderful to have a sit down to finally get to know some of these iconic Soul Train stars I remember so well from my youth.

    Ms Daphne Davis Harvey is the real deal. She was not only a star on the stage but also a trail blazer in the business world. Hands down the best boss I ever had. My new motto is "people try you so you just gotta let em know".

    My lady that just passed away was from New Orleans,Louisiana and her mother moved here to California she was over in Compton,California and then moved to Long Beach,California and then Lynwood,California and she liked to dance herself and I see that you are from a famous family there Fats Domino he was great and thanks also for sharing your story oh and before I go i didn't have a clue that some of the Dancers were only 14 - 15 years old WOW take care.

    daphne, in my opinion, is the epitome of those disco/post disco/boogie funk eras mainly because her age was what the music industry was aiming those records towards and she was there just groovin. this is excellent! thanks again, BET.

      Yeah,ST was a part-time gig,I believe they taped several shows on weekends ( sorta like being in the Army Reserves and Guard,weekend warriors ) some made connections & deals in the entertainment industry thanks to being on Soul Train. At least the smart ones did.

    Daphne Davis Harvey's looks great!! after all those years. What a wonderful!! and powerful!! story Daphne shared. She was so blessed and accomplished on " Soul Train" and went to on college to receive her bachelor's agree in business. What a sophisticated lady. She was trailblazer in the entertainment. She helped other black american get into the entertainment business. Great!! story.

    I was a young teenager when she was on Soul Train. Probably one of my crushes on the show. What I do notice is that even when the young ladies was from famous families you wouldn't know it. They didn't walk around with their heads in the clouds looking below at the men. She seems very pleasant to be around.
