You can take the "Deactivate Multi-Tool" seal AND also do the "Locate Dissonance Spikes" in the same camp. BUT more importantly you can also put down a save point or even build a base next to the camp, since once you went out and repaired your new ship you can come back to the same camp and redo the "Locate Dissonance Spikes" to get a new position for a new ship. Doing this I've managed to get all types of classes from the same camp.
You can do both unlock the gun and locate the ship. And you can use as many locators as you want to get more than one ship per planet. It's one ship per camp.
It’s not true that there’s only one ship. You can use the spike in the camp multiple times so it’s worth putting the base down in the camp. You can also unlock the multi tool AND use the spike. Also, loot the 6 wheelbarrowsin the camp as they often contain storage or multi tool expansion slots
I do things differently. I place a save beacon at this Harmonic Echo Camp because, after selling whatever ship I find, I simply return and use the same Harmonic Base computer again (not another Echo Locator), and it gives me the location of another of these ships. It's already unlocked, so no need for another code. Rinse repeat as many times as I want. I've found a planet with lots of dissonance resonators and shards and built a base on this planet with a teleporter, etc. to return to when ever I want to stock up. It's not unusual for me to easily stock up on 10 or more Echo Locators and lots of mirrors. When searching for 'other ship types' (because I'm a collector), I fly to a new dissonant system and as soon as warping in, use an Echo Locator whilst still in space. It either does or doesn't find a Harmonic Echo Detected (base). If it does, fly to the marked base and rinse repeat, and if it doesn't, warp to another dissonant system. You keep the Echo Locator if it doesn't detect a Harmonic Echo Detected base camp. Btw, If I find a Harmonic Echo camp with a ship I like, I build a base with teleporter at the Harmonic camp. I usually fly the ship I found to this Base, Name it something like 'OrangeBlackHaulerTypeNice' (shortened to OrgBlkHaulNICE) and take a zoomed up screen shot of the ship. Then I know for future reference, which planet, I found each ship, for if I want to keep repeating until I find an S class. 😅Sorry for all the blah blah long story. I struggle to leave short comments! EDIT in because why not 😂😂 I became a billionare in a short time doing this and can do a ship run in roughly 15 minutes start to sell. Roughly 26 to 42 million per visit (for 15 minutes work). 42 is the most Ive sold for.. a couple of times only 16 million.. But usually around the 26 mil mark.
Don't fix the brain instead build a base at the crash site, build 2 landing pads and teleporter. Fly to the space station in your regular ship and exit the reload. Fly back to your base, wait for an npc to appear and talk to him to claim the sentinel ship for free no need for brain transplant. Now you can begin a cycle of teleport to space station, sell the sentinel ship, get in your regular ship and exit to set restore point then fly back to the base and the npc will be there again with the same ship to claim for free and keep repeating this until you get tired.

@@IronmanRL appreciate you sharing this, will have to give this one a try sounds way more efficient 👍

Sorry no. It is more ships than one per camp. ;) Try it.

Or just use the refiner glitch to duplicate a shiton of AI valves and sell them
just use a save editor
