danny de kler The lack of noise today is not the result of "smaller" engines, it's because the exhaust now goes through an energy recovery system and a turbo. It's the same as putting a hand in front of your computer speaker. The noise is still the same, it simply doesn't reach you anymore.

@@juampydominguezmartin6709 car was good, when tyres was working, it was very fast - in Bahrain and especially Imola where he was 35 seconds behind Alonso after first pit stop and despite that almost won it... shame DRS not existed then :)
You don't know what you're talking about, now do you? No. Because the golden era is when Michael Schumacher was at the top, when he was driving for Ferrari!
@hlidskjalf666 You are probably thinking about Monaco 1996. He had a big slide through Rascasse and onto the start/finish line. Despite this, he still grabbed pole position by 0.510 second over Damon Hill.
@ImFasterThanTheStig yes, it was the last corner with a very high in-speed...and he went out on the green "curbs" and went really wide. in very high speed, and then still pole faster than everyone else. (The speakers quoted something like that )
@ARESJMG I'm sure you're watching F-1 for 2 maybe 3 years, and you didn't see how he raced with CRAP Ferrari in 96-97 season. If you are questioning his talent, you know nothing about F-1 :)
@Eldarion92 2009 was pretty woeful too, what with the Brawn shedding components over Massa and taking him out for the rest of the season. Then Badoer took his place, which made me chuckle.
@JontieDesario Nice. not the one ´ve looked for thou (because it was the last corner, a high-speed corner with great exit speed on the green-area outside the curbs when he went really wide! And the pole-time was something like 1:10 minutes! )
alonso was the person schumacher had his eye on as a future champion... uh oh now alonso seems to win half of the races and schumi's lagging behind >.< i want schumi to be awesome againnnn
can anyone find what qualify i ´m searching for? Schumi took pole and also had a wide slide at the end "but still...fastet lap" seen it on utube but cant fint it. Dont know year,or what track :S
maybe it was the first qualifing 2003 in austria? he was an little bit to outward from the last corner but he took nevertheless the first place with a few tenths
@Joshman692 I heard it was because the right rear was bad tire wear and they make the mirror like that so he can see the tire wear and tell the team : /
The 2013 season will be the final year the series uses the current 2.4 litre V8 engine configuration; a 1.6 litre turbocharged V6 engine formula is to come into force for 2014. gg Bernie!
Yeah you are right, there changing to a 4 cylinder 1.6 litre V6 turbo charged. Also the RPM wont pass 10,000 (down from 18,000). There still maintaining around 750 HP, But they are also upping the KERS boost from 60kw to 120 kw. Pro and cons i guess, we will see next year. :)
The maestro at work at his beloved spa I miss Micheal Schumacher he's my hero and without doubt he's the greatest driver of all time
I miss the old F1 :(
I Miss Michael :(
1 second faster than Barrichelo and people wonder why Rubens was not allowed to lead Ferrari
Michael Schumacher, the undisputed king of the v10 era!
Michael the best!!!
1:30- The F2005 was betrayed by its tires, and yet Schumi still managed 192 mph in Eau Rouge! That's insane!
That was cunt rule from fia
Yes thats why Mercedes is breaking all records. There are no rule changes that destroy them
"Rock on Michael! Fantastic!" Comment from James Allen
This is F1!!!!!
bring back the V10's i remember when i was a kid watching F1 and hear those engines what a great time that was
danny de kler The lack of noise today is not the result of "smaller" engines, it's because the exhaust now goes through an energy recovery system and a turbo. It's the same as putting a hand in front of your computer speaker. The noise is still the same, it simply doesn't reach you anymore.
Those were the days of f1 and i love the sound of the good old v10 bring it back i say .
Thanks for looking out all those years, Michael.
2:17 that sound is a great part of my childhood :(
so many memories i can't describe it :'(
damn... i love that engine sound
Love that sound

Lots of Greats win here Always.

There was a vote to kick Spa out of the F1 calendar? :( When?
It was left off the calendar in 2006, and earlier in 2003 as well.
Spa left the 2006 calendar, because there was modernization. They made bigger pits
@@tomaszgrzeszczak5821 it was actually more on tobacco advertising legislation issues on why it wasn't there in 2006
Still legendary in 2020.
Happy Birthday, Kaiser.

goose bumps. the v10 engine sounds so awesome!
This lap came pure from Michael's talent. An awesome driver, miss him a lot.
1 Set of tyres for the whole dam race just to stop Schumacher from winning the championship again.......
??? What stopped him from winning anything was that horrible ferrari
@@juampydominguezmartin6709 Actually, with those bricks that bridgestone called racing tyres that year, even the Merc of today would be horrible.
@@juampydominguezmartin6709 car was good, when tyres was working, it was very fast - in Bahrain and especially Imola where he was 35 seconds behind Alonso after first pit stop and despite that almost won it... shame DRS not existed then :)
2005 tyre regulations definitely screwed Ferrari. They were fighting for championships in '04 and '06, so that had to be it.
and they did nothing to stop merc
I love the way he throws his car into the corner! Just amazing!
This V10-Sound is just incredible.......
i want the schumi back. what a legend
Me too!!! Best moments of F1 ever...To watch Schumi do his thing!
2005 was the best V10 Song !
You don't know what you're talking about, now do you? No. Because the golden era is when Michael Schumacher was at the top, when he was driving for Ferrari!
Great lap. Always excells at Spa.
Also, Michael actually had 6 wins at Spa (Brundle mentioning 5) + one from 1994 when he was DSQd for no reason.
The golden age of F1
best circuit EVER
Last Year of V10s !!
flawless...awesome
0:42 I dedicate this exhaust note to all fellow melomanes out here!!!
Beautiful V10!
The greatest driver on the greatest track
I really miss that sound
1:27 :')
bring back schumi !!! :D
Yes, in 2005 there were still V10s but no restrictions on revs. Only they had to survive for 2 GPs.
V10 has to return!
greatest
James Allen and the sound of V10 engines, what a combination!
nice wing mirrors haha
awesome lap though
beautiful car !!
This video shows that the tires was the only issue for ferrari in 2005.

I can't tell what's better - Schumacher's lap or that Ferrari's V10's sound?
The greats win here alot of times I agree Kimi Raikkonen despite only one title
I believe they were still v10s, but rpm was restricted to 19000.
In 2000 Schumi said Kimi is a future champion, and in 2001 he said the same about Alonso...and he was right both times.
@ARESJMG I'm sure you're watching F-1 for 2 maybe 3 years, and you didn't see how he raced with CRAP Ferrari in 96-97 season. If you are questioning his talent, you know nothing about F-1 :)
Michael, you mess me. Stell now i can't belive at the ski accident. My god how it's strange this life...

2005 is the last year of V10 engine......so much fun ! but ,to 2006 V8 engine, not comparable on the V10 !
@JontieDesario Nice. not the one ´ve looked for thou (because it was the last corner, a high-speed corner with great exit speed on the green-area outside the curbs when he went really wide! And the pole-time was something like 1:10 minutes! )
come back schumi.
Oh and can you upload the Fight between the 2 McLaren for this Pole, where Montoya beat Raikkonen's fastest lap at Spa if you have the clip?
I think that was Kimi qualifying at Hockenheim. Is it the one where his team mate Montoya slides off the track at the end?
alonso was the person schumacher had his eye on as a future champion... uh oh
now alonso seems to win half of the races and schumi's lagging behind >.<
i want schumi to be awesome againnnn
@5950ziel there is a vid at youtube with all lap onboard he made a small mistake at the beggining of the 2nd sector
Best F1 era was with Yuji Ide wrecking into everything.
Oh wow, Bad typo by me there, it was just recently changed from choosing a 4 cylinder 1.6 turbo to a V6 1.6 turbo.
Is it just me, but why are his mirrors at different angles?
can anyone find what qualify i ´m searching for? Schumi took pole and also had a wide slide at the end "but still...fastet lap"

@hlidskjalf666 Its Sepang! :)
Michael Schumacher - Qualifying Lap at Sepang
ferrari 2005 is the best looking car for ferrari and its V10!!
which track is this please ?
His right foot was planted through Eau Rouge.
Os retrovisores de cada lado eram diferentes nessa Ferrari, que estranho
Does anybody know the reason why the right mirror is higher than the left one?
At first, I thaught, it was broken or so...looks a bit funny;-)
@hlidskjalf666
Can also been 2002 at Magny Cours.
I think there was a big slide too.
V10 T.T i Miss V10
A fond dans le redillon
the message is clear : Bring the V10 Back, Schummy is back now, why not the V10? Cheers FIA.
@supertomasstar no it wasnt maybe the f2004 or the f248
dnt worry, he's here again!!:D
You're thinking of Kimi.
Whats up with the odd mirrors?
@QOTSAPT yeah definately, too bad the F248 had reliability issues sometimes. Coupled with just pure bad luck

Well, I came from the future and I can say the turbo hybrid era sucks.
@Supermega25
cant find. good channel thou ;)
Manic
Max Mosley was head of the FIA not Bernie. Bernie wanted to keep the V10s.
@hlidskjalf666 probably hungary 05?
hungary 04?
in 2005 there were already v8 engines ;)
No
@ImFasterThanTheStig It is in my channel
Wow, forgot that Spa used to look like that. When did it change ?
2007. They modified the bus stop chicane
At 0:59 - 1:00 I can really hear the 20,000 RPMs ;-)
@tubeyouviewer1984 Without a shadow of a doubt! and definitely 2008 as well
mirrors look different from each other
Pacino won this race in 85BC I think.
