    That was really a good movie and I’m glad that he finally opened up about what was troubling him inside. I pray for couples out there that goes through similar things like this that you should never hold back your feelings you need to sit down and talk about things communication is so important and crucial, and a relationship of any kind.

    Excellent movie! I’m glad that the husband had insight into his own behavior and took some responsibility for it, unlike my ex-husband who never owned up to his side in our marriage.

    The Dad lost his sense of manhood being an at home Dad & paid his Wife back by filing for divorce. The kids & Wife suffered due to the vindictive way he handled things initially. A good therapist is what the Dad needed! Glad it ended with joint custody & the Wife not being taken for all he could get from her! Sad story of Family Life gone wrong because Dad couldn't Man Up!

    Sad story but happens everywhere when compromises can't stand the test of time. People claim that personal and professional growth is part of life. But little do they wonder at what expenses does it costs. In this case, like many other cases, divorce happens. Therefore, marriage is something that couple can't look at it as mere love but more than that, goals and roles must be discussed and agreed upon before embarking on life-long journey together.
    A good movie.

    I can’t believe in the beginning how he got the kids got the house and kicked her out when he didn’t have a job or nothing I wonder what he told the judge to do all that.
    But in the end, it’s about the kids and they finally realize that I felt so sorry for them .
    The ending was the best ever.

      I agree completely. And, the fact that the husband went to go see a lawyer behind her back first, instead of having a heart-to-heart discussion with his wife first, is displaying signs of passive-aggression and untreated mental illness. She could have spent time with her dying Mother, if he hadn't caused all that trouble 😠

      @ataylor3202 Well said, you're completely right. In my opinion, the intelligent, loving wife was very approachable. All he had to do was come to her and talk to her about feeling inadequate and worthless. But no, the jealous unsupportive cry-baby decides to go see a lawyer behind her back. Men like that don't like successful women. They want women to be satisfied with just staying at home. They feel intimidated by intelligent successful woman.

      This strikes the nerve for anybody that's ever had an immature idiot for a husband!!😠

    • @tvigil880
      @tvigil880 Місяць тому +2

      @isabellegauthier4318 That's true... I understand. But, instead of
      " working through it and growing from it", the cry-baby goes to see a lawyer behind her back. Claire was very loving and approachable. All he had to do was talk to her about how he was feeling. He allowed his JEALOUSY to control him. He's the one that needed serious therapy.
      I wouldn't have taken him back. She deserved a mature, confident, loving, and supportive life partner that showed her that he was PROUD of her success, instead of feeling threatened by it, like Mr. Cry-Baby.

    When my brother divorced his wife he took the house threw his wife and kids out. My mom ran over there and let him have it! What kind of a man are you throwing a woman and your kids into the street. She threw my brother out and told my sister in-in-law that she was not going anywhere. When my mom found out my uncle did the same thing to her sister my mom hoped a plane flew to Mexico and let him have it! My aunt was recovering from a heart attack. She told my uncle what kind of a man are you. Going out drinking with your buddies while your kids are running around dirty and hungry. So my mom found a nanny/caretaker for my aunt. Then told my aunt she was flying back to the states. She said I can be of more help to you from by sending you money. I left you someone to watch over you and the kids. What a man she was the bread winner he was the stay at home mom. Get a job. Lazy bum yours will not be the first household with 2 working parents

      Not narcissist. He's self-centered at the time and selfish in his decisions. But narcissism requires an inability to have empathy and such deep insecurity that it prevents insight into oneself. He does have empathy that leads him to gain insight into his behaviour and correct himself. Narcissists are not capable of that. Narcissist term is often misused interchangeably with self-centeredne/selfish behaviour but they are not the same.

    What a horrible pathetic childish man, treating his wife like this while she’s working for him, his eyes are full with hatred, she is too good for him and and he doesn’t deserve any minute more with her, seeing his selfish and disgusting behavior towards her is shamefully disgusting ☝🏼

    Man can not stand it if their wives get success in their carriers. They get really jealous and try to stop it. I am a medical doctor, after i graduate, after my internship, after getting a job i got married with another doctor, but i could not continue my carrier, although my husband is working. I tried but for 3 children i had to compromise. Man can not tolerate a successful wife.

    When parents divorce, tis not up to the kids. The kids should be able to,stay in the one home, and the parents, in joint custody, have to live with the kids every fortnite in THAT house. Make the parents change their living style, to accommodate the children. I know it means rent/mortgage on 3 homes. But parents need to take on the burden, rather than kids, adapting between two homes

    • @isabellegauthier4318
      @isabellegauthier4318 Місяць тому +1

      I know someone who did that (at first). Not easy. And not everyone can afford three homes. I think best is to soon after have two homes only so children can have the benefit of calmer, more grounded parents in their own homes.
