The Ron Clark Story (also known as The Triumph) is a 2006 American television film starring Matthew Perry ❤ Let us know in the comments how you found the film!
Made me cry. He loved these students the same way I loved mine. I miss these kids so much. One of them climbed from F to B, just because she wanted to make me happy. That was her answer when I asked her how come she turned around when I became her teacher. The other teachers gave her up and would not believe her results in my classes. They saw her as a kid that would never accomplish nothing. Today she is a well educated woman working as a nurse for years. I was so proud of my students, I just loved them, and they were hanging around me cuddling my hair at 15 years old. I was fighting for them, and they gave me such joy! Today they are all 40 years old, having families and good jobs.❤
I believe in every student's life there is the one teacher that stands out in their memories. I had two; one in a bad way, the other in a very good way. You, I believe, have been the one, that has been remembered in a very good way, by your students. Congratulations, there are too few teachers that are remembered in this way, you have done well, and should be very proud. Thank you for being there for your students.
AGREED! More people should see this amazing movie because it truly does show that he was a brilliant and talented actor. Far more versatile than many Knew. He picked great roles that had moral compass and I for one am glad he did this movie. It immortalizes him doing a factictic film that is based on true life man that Inspired others for generations and so will his portrayal of Mr Clark inspire others' who want to be actors or are young actors to take on more difficult & challenging roles and Nail the part so well that people will never forget how the film Inspired and touched their hearts.
This is the only time I've watched Matthew Perry act, outside the remit of Comedy. He played this part brilliantly. Such a sad, early loss of an amazing man and Actor. RIP Matthew.
I wish all teachers had that same dedication and love to teach their students no matter what direction they take the sky is open for them. Brilliant. A born teacher a gift from God
I agree but I wish all PARENTS were as dedicated & cared enough to do the best for their own kids! The teachers don’t bring these kids into the world and only have the kids for a year or so. Yes, it’s the teacher’s job but parents have a job too.
No matter how hard life is, as long as you have someone who believes in you and you continue to believe in yourself, no ceiling will ever be too high, no river too wide that can stop your progress. Great movie.
He was perfect in this role...what a teacher Mr. Clark was my God! I don't think it was so much the rules that turned them around but his love for them.
Having read Matty's book, it's clear that he brought a lot of his own life experiences into this role and I have no doubt he was very emotional in some of the scenes. Having someone tell you they are proud of you can change your life. On a lighter note, who else was yelling "pivot, pivot" when he was trying to move the table into his apartment? 😂Thank you Matty for your beautiful soul and genius work. You'll live on through your movies, TV shows, your book and how you touched so many people around the world.
As a high school teacher, I can totally relate and know how difficult it is. Some of the students in the movie remind me of my own students that graduated. They Never had it easy but we worked it out, always told them that they can do it no matter how hard it is and they did 🥹 thank you for sharing this movie and reminding me again on why I chose to become a teacher
I totally agree.. but in The Netherlands we don' t have those huge problems at schools, no armed security or police, not even in banks, malls. hospitals (not armed), in most public or government buildings . and NO school shootings..
God sat back while i was sa at age 4 but mr. Kaufman tried so hard to help me in every way he could. Seeing a struggling suffering girl. Mr. Kaufman is so good. God can f u c k himself
WOW!!! So glad Matthew Perry had the opportunity to bring to life this amazing story before his time on earth was over. All the cast were excellent. Inspiring true story - every child is so precious 😊
I had a teacher long ago in the middle 1960's.. If it were not for her and her style --I would have never did or went so far.. It was her encouragement --her sweet style, I shall never forget.. No one was like her in those times.. days before special ed. or any diagnosed DHD or things such as that.. The lady was the library teacher.. I had issues with reading, she helped me said this one simple thing " Read what ever your interested in, read a book a week ".. I did, I was under age 10.. I recall I read simple things, romance, then True Crime, evolved taught myself Latin.. I started a job at the bottom, learning everything --studying at night, working my way up to the top.. I read law, I represented myself in Court won cases.. People can do anything--but they need that 1 person to push or help start them.. Her name was Mrs. Washington.. may she RIP.. what a woman..
Just stopped by this movie and and an hour and a half later I'm now crying after watching.😢 This was a fantastic movie. Even better that it was a true story. Even better acting all around, especially by Matthew Perry! Just fabulous.
same here. I`m tearing apart. Never have I watched such an inspiring story about a devoted teacher and his class. Matthew Perry did a magnificent job while playing this role of Ron Clark and I devoured every second seeing him and his family achieving all the credits and exceptional work they did together. And for anyone who is still reading my comment - there's an extraordinary American writer for young adults - Jason Reynolds - who wrote i.e. a novel called "long way down" which reminded me of him just when the part of this movie was mentioning this line. I loved everything about it! Thank you for uploading! 💛🧡❤💜
This is such an exceptional movie based on Ron Clark, an exceptional teacher and human being! I lost count on how many times I have watched this movie! Whenever I need to believe there are good people who are selfless and have faith in and humanity...this is where I'll be!
Working in a school is exhausting. But it can be the best job you’ll ever have. I remember one boy that had detention and most of the other kids were cleaning classrooms. He didn’t want to, so I made him a deal. If he went home and cleaned the floors in his house for his mother, we would be even. He came from a large family. His mother called me the next day to tell me she came home to a clean house. He did more than I asked. I guess it felt good to do something nice. 😄 Teaching young people how to be part of a community is part of the whole idea.
I'm a retired L.A. public school teacher and I really loved this movie. The kind of bonds that good teachers make with their students were so well illustrated here. This is a most poignant and heartening film that brought tears to my eyes. Brilliantly directed and with marvelous actors--RIP Matthew Perry, you were marvelous! I taught in the Hispanic 'hood and life was not always wonderful but things always worked out and I loved my students so much and miss them still.
The teacher,s understanding n approach to each student is amazing. I had one teacher like that in my time n l know the impact it can make. These were lucky kids though they realised it eventually. Thanks to Ron Clark for all the good work , it makes the world a better place for everyone. Matthew Perry's carried out the part outstandingly. I loved him may his soul RIP.
What a fabulous film. I was completely captivated by Mr. Ron Clark, whom I 'd never heard of before. And somehow, this just found me...and I'm so glad. A joy, so were the kids in this film. So many thanks to all.
2nd time to watch this. It's exceptionally brilliant. We give POSITIVE WORDS to our kids , they'll give out their best. Thanks, indeed an eye opener & an awakening for me as a mom. Thanks for this movie🙏
What an inspiring story, it shows once again that genuine love and caring makes all the difference in the world! Thank you for making this movie available!❤
Shed some tears. As a teacher I know how difficult it is to teach but to inspire students is the most difficult of all. Kudos to all teachers! Thank you Mr Clark!
This movie made me smile and brought me to tears. Wish there were more teachers like him in the world. He changed these kids lives. Much respect to Mr. Ron Clark
I watched this years ago. Even better the second time around. I know I will be watching again and will purchase the book. I like Ron Clark’s persistence to take on the teacher position when the other left. I cried when I saw how some were treated in their home life. I cried more on the outcome and the class achievements. Where are these students now? Tarshawn im grateful that you went to a better family home. I am so happy for this movie to be on my UA-cam selection.
This movie came on my feed, and i am so grateful it did. It shows the power of how just one person can believe in you and make you believe in yourself. Teachers are true gems. They never get the recognition they deserve.
I laughed, I cried, this was very very inspirational ! My daughter is almost finished with college. She is going to be a school teacher !!!! She loves kids and they love her! You will be the best Rachel ! Love Mom ! 💝💖💝💖💝
There aren’t enough words of praise for what this teacher did for these children, and for the many children after this. As a parent, I was so moved to tears, he cared, and he wasn’t afraid to let everyone know that he cared. I sincerely hope many teachers followed his example, and instead of giving up on (problem ) kids, taught them how to believe in themselves.
I taught Kindergarten in downtown LA 1990-1998…most amazing times. Pay was awful but most of us teachers were at school until 7-8 pm when it was time for the Arts Program we created Only possible because of our awesome Principal, Ms. Kasza. Then Core curriculum was invented. Killed the Arts in school and demoralized the students and me. We loved all our kids.
This movie is really inspiring. I'm a teacher and I will probably borrow some tips from Mr.Clark's experience. And I recognise myself going to work being sick, because we have some tests to pass. But to be honest, I can't imagine myself investing that much in my students' lives. I have my own family and my own kids to pay attention to. I can't spend extra hours with them after classes, I definitely can't help them make dinner or do their homework. I try to involve parents, but if they don't want to take responsibilty for their own kids, I can't make them.
I saw this movie years ago and it's still just as great as it was then! 💖 I so wish I could have taught under this man's direction in his school! But I retired before his school opened. I had the same philosophy as he did... Give them the needed "building blocks" & teach them to love learning and they can learn anything! I had 2nd graders completing beginning algebra - including fractions - and loving those "no math today, just fun math puzzles"! My lesson plans for the week were out ❤and date by Wednesday by taking my lead from the kids! We had so much fun learning - in & out of the classroom. Sadly, today I'd be fired the 1st week for not presenting lessons as if the kids were robots. 😢 I'll NEVER forget the look on the Librarian's face when one freckle faced 4th grade boy asked if she had a recording of the works of Chaucer in the original Old English. Yeah. I loved teaching kids how to love learning! 💖
AS A FORMER TEACHER WHO TYPES IN CAPS DUE TO A BROKEN WRIST A FEW MONTHS AGO, I LOVED THIS MOVIE. MUCH OF WHAT MATTHEW PERRY DID WERE SIMILAR TO THINGS I DID. MY GOAL WAS TO TEACH MY 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS HOW TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!
I love movies like this! I always wanted a teacher like this, I was blessed enough to have 3. Teachers that “see” you as a person and who you can be and not who you “pretend” to be, really does something to a kid going through it at home and in their own minds 😢🙏❤️
I absolutely love this movie! I’ve watched it several times. It’s an awesome story about a teacher who truly loved his students; especially those who came from the hardest backgrounds and lifestyles. He won their hearts, and taught them how to pursue their dreams and goals. Excellent Movie!
The portrait caught my full attention. Mr. Clark must be a very special human being, teacher and an inspiration to anybody who are aspiring to do good in this world
This is a very very very very great film. Thank you!!! Matthew Perry lives on in this wonderful performance, and his heart on film! Lovely children actors!!!! Amazing.
This was a very inspiring story…reminded me of a Sidney Poitier movie from 1955, The Blackboard Jungle. That was also a very inspiring film. Good for Ron Clark. I cried several times. Matthew Perry was excellent in this…he was always a favorite of mine. Gone too soon. RIP Matthew…💔
Wow, what a brilliant movie. You nailed it Mr Perry. Rest in peace. Mr Clark believed in those kids and didn’t give up when things got hard. God bless you and your students ❤
My youngest daughter is studying to be an elementary school teacher in Puerto Rico, on her last yr right now. I'm sharing this movie with her and thanks for the upload. Amazing movie, amazing teacher, but above all, amazing students.
the best movie id ever seen so far ❤❤❤💘💘💘💘i love and enjoyed it so much right from beginning to end...Matthew Perry delivered his role brilliantly...RIP....🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
What an amazing teacher. Just what many of those kids needed. Someone who didn’t give up on them and made them believe in themselves no matter what . Fantastic movie made me very emotional
Matthew Perry Had a real talent for acting. He was excellent in this movie. All his life, he looked for his parent's love and approval, but always found himself alone, with nobody to turn to. He must have felt terribly lonely. Unfortunately, he found comfort in the wrong things. Matthew Perry, you were an excellent actor and I hope that where you are, you find hapiness and approval. God bless you !
Alot of people had bad up bringing but they didn't all turn to drink and drugs. Have no sympathy for him. He knew what he was doing and still continued to do it. These actors get the money and then turn to drink and drugs so have no sympathy for him.
@@lizvickers7156 do you have no empathy at all? He took those things because he was depressed, and yeah it’s not good for you but if you start it’s almost impossible to stop. It’s not that simple…
Ron Clark's book, "The Essential 55" explains even more of how he did it, including how important "Double Dutch" jump rope taught BOTH him and his class. ❤
Chandler! DEAR! Just know, wherever you are, how much We Love You ! This is the first time I could gather the courage to see you on screen ever since you left! Sending Love!❤!
A truly inspirational film based on reality. R.I.P Mathew Perry. Reminds me of the film Dangerous Minds - same idea but it's better as the kids are younger and shows how everyone's life isn't perfect. Should be shown in schools to show diversity and maybe some understanding of people & their culture.
I love this movie, I've seen it three times and I never get tired. Is to bad, that we don't have many more teachers like Mr. Clark. Im soo proud of him and all the kids that had the privelage of being his students. To bad I didn't have a teacher likenhim in 12th grade high school was soo boring to me that I drop out at twelve grade because I couldn't take itbany more, it was soo boring to me that I used to dream that I was somewhere else.😢😢😢 I thanks the Lord for all the teachers like Mr. Clark, like my nine grade teacher Mr. Muñoz, he was Amazing as well, in my school days, it was the only class that I did grate. he was like Mr. Clark, I still miss him.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
EVERYONE IN THE WORLD SHOULD WATCH THIS MOVIE. I AM FROM CANADA AND BRAZIL TWO NICE COUNTRIES WITH ITS OWN ISSUES. MANY PEOPLE STILL THINKING THAT USA IS PERFECT I KNOW THAT SPECIALLY NOW 2024 ITS FAR FROM PERFECT BECAUSE OF GOV.GREED AND OTHER RICHES GREED BUT, THANK GOD STILL GOOD PEOPLE AROUND HELPING EACH OTHER AND THE COMMUNITY. MATTHEW PERRY WAS A GREAT ACTOR LONELY GREAT ACTOR THAT NEEDED EMOTIONAL HELP, HUGS AND LOVE (I DONT THINK THAT HE GOT THAT FROM ANYONE)BUT, NOW HE IS ON THE BEST ARMS AND LOVE OF THE UNIVERSE "GOD". RIP MATTEW PERRY.
An absolute Gem of a movie. Do not miss it. It is highly Inspirational & engaging. We as adults should all be a bit more like Ron Clark when it comes to the children in their lives. Especially right now with all the confusion and terrible things they are being put through b.c of a bunch of criminal rouge Politicians who are destroying their home & disregarding their right to learn rather than be indoctrinated! Great movie. Definitely don't miss this one!
Ive seen this a few times and always get emotional...and seeing it again knowing that Matthew has left us... he was so good and so nerdy cool....Im sure he did the real mr.Clarke justice 👌👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
I'm in awe of this movie, speechless, and in tears...I'm touched by the humane behavior displayed by Mr Clarke who went above and beyond for all his students, I sure could have used a Mr. Clarke in my school days...
This was a fabulous movie, and Matthew Perry played such a fabulously real and believable part as Ron Clark. He showed that teachers need to use their knowledge and imagination to come up with teaching methods that fit the students and actually help them to achieve their potential -- rather than forcing down the same ole, same ole stuff as if they were widgets on an assembly line in a factory!! I wish I'd had a teacher like this!! Way to go Matthew Perry -- RIP -- you will be sorely missed!!
So sentimental, a real tearjerker...and I loved every minute of it! Great acting job by Matthew Perry, I feel that he somehow wanted to feel what he gave his students--acceptance and support. We sure failed him.
I'm not crying, you are crying. What a wonderful movie. And perfectly casted. I will have to watch this again, but first I need to buy some tissues, you know... for my allergies *sniffles*
This was his best piece of work during his career. It made me laugh cry. He was an amazing actor. It will break your heart, it will cause you to cheer, laugh, smile and cry definitely a must see movie
After a long time... I have watched a great movie... And literally this movie is so good I can't even explain it❤ loved it... And as a teacher's role Matthew nailed it... He is such a great versatile actor... And all the students acted very well... We all need a person in our life who believes in us.. no matter what.. they will support and motivate us.. and we should really need a Ron is our life too ❤ I really suggest everyone to watch this Matthew Perry's one of the greatest movies... We miss you Matty❤

I couldn't stop watching this. What an excellent movie and the fact that it's based on a true story just makes it that much more intriguing
Another really good one about the schools etc is freedom writers with Hillary Swank, excellent true story also 🙌🙌🙌
I Ck on free movies based on true stories all the time, and there it was! Powerful!🙏
Wish all teachers were like Clarke we need better teachers and SEL learning in Peru URGENTLY!
True. Especially when Forest Gump junior appears in the beginding, glad he can speaks fluently.
I agree. I have watched this movie many times

This movie should be shown in all cinemas every year. The best.
I saw this movie years ago and it's still just as great as it was then! 💖
I so wish I could have taught under this man's direction in his school!
Thank you that I could watch this gem of a movie and learn about Mr Ron Clark-an extraordinary man and teacher ❤
Extraordinary movie. I cried. Extraordinary actor. Wonderful children! Rest in peace, Matthew Perry!
From Romania, with love ♥️
One of my favorite TV movies ever. Inspiring story of a real teacher plus it was well-written and the portrayal by Matthew Perry was outstanding.
@@joycegraham6760 check out front of the class also.
What an amazing teacher. Just what many of those kids needed. Someone who didn’t give up on them and made them believe in themselves no matter what . Fantastic movie made me very emotional
Brilliant film. The world needs more teachers like Mr C.
Great movie shows students can achieve anything in unusual ways and a great teacher
Ron Clark proves that enjoyable learning can transform the struggles of students for the better.
"Freedom Writer's" is another great film of a great teacher. Hilary Swank plays Mrs. G.
Wonderful memories are made of inspirational flicks like this! Miss you Mathew Perry. This was your best contribution yet!!!
I love this movie, I've seen it three times and I never get tired.
Is to bad, that we don't have many more teachers like Mr. Clark.
Im soo proud of him and all the kids that had the privelage of being his students.
To bad I didn't have a teacher likenhim in 12th grade high school was soo boring to me that I drop out at twelve grade because I couldn't take itbany more, it was soo boring to me that I used to dream that I was somewhere else.😢😢😢
I thanks the Lord for all the teachers like Mr. Clark, like my nine grade teacher Mr. Muñoz, he was Amazing as well, in my school days, it was the only class that I did grate. he was like Mr. Clark, I still miss him.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Growing up in a difficult life - it takes just that one person who inspires your life forever ! ♥️🙏🏼
Great movie. You can really the importance of a strong father figure in a child’s life. RIP Matthew Perry 🙏🏻
Thr movie was amazing with it's Sense of humour not forgetting the hard work of Clark sir❤
i miss matthew perry, may he rest in peace
Great teacher. They need to be rewarded. If only teachers these days had patience and dedication like this.
Wow what a beautiful story!! I don't watch movies much, but this one I will watch again!
Ive seen this a few times and always get emotional...and seeing it again knowing that Matthew has left us... he was so good and so nerdy cool....Im sure he did the real mr.Clarke justice 👌👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful movie about how a dedicated teacher can turn someone's life around. Reminiscent of To Sir With Love. Very touching and inspiring.❤❤❤
I'm in awe of this movie, speechless, and in tears...I'm touched by the humane behavior displayed by Mr Clarke who went above and beyond for all his students, I sure could have used a Mr. Clarke in my school days...
Great film and exciting backstory. Sending a link to my husband's phone right now. (He's a teacher.) Matthew Perry...you won't be forgotten!
Thanks to all the "Mr Clarcks" throughout the world and throughout time !!!
What a great movie- how one teacher's faith can inspire..thanks for the upload 🙏💜

This was one of the best movies I watched recently 🥰❤️❤️❤️
What a wonderful story so heart warming.. inspiring… what a great movie ! Thank you
Chosen for for me by the algorithm. I know it will great with mr perry . May he Rest In Peace 🙏🙏🙏
So sentimental, a real tearjerker...and I loved every minute of it! Great acting job by Matthew Perry, I feel that he somehow wanted to feel what he gave his students--acceptance and support. We sure failed him.
The poor teacher burnt himself out, and became ill, in his efforts in helping these kids. Excellent teacher
So love this movie❤❤❤ Mattrew you are sadly missed😢😢😢😢❤
After a long time... I have watched a great movie... And literally this movie is so good I can't even explain it❤ loved it... And as a teacher's role Matthew nailed it... He is such a great versatile actor... And all the students acted very well...
We all need a person in our life who believes in us.. no matter what.. they will support and motivate us.. and we should really need a Ron is our life too ❤
I really suggest everyone to watch this Matthew Perry's one of the greatest movies... We miss you Matty❤
Great story and Matthew impressed me in this role. I had 2 wonderful teachers.
What an enjoyable movie! Matthew Perry was such an easy guy to love. It’s so sad the world lost him early.
Just seeing this in 2024... excellent movie, beautiful story... made me laugh, made me cry ❤
