Having worked with several newly graduated engineers over the years I can tell you that corporal Kelly should be TEACHING ENGINEERS, at least then they would have some USEFUL information!!!!
It would be sick if you and dave and the crew built a mock bugout location. Show us how you would organize and set up if things got dicey. Cover everything from recon to cooking to defense and everything. What are the main things we should do? Love your stuff man all I need to do is take the time to cover is all those knots you know 😆

Also, one of the many things I like about you, is that you aren't jealous of other bushcrafters. You teach what you teach in the manner you use to best help your audience benefit from. You see that there are other ways to accomplish the same objective and you give acknowledgement and shout outs to other bushcrafters who have different, and equally good ways of disseminating their knowledge. You are awesome! I am a 62-year-old grandmother. My 14-year-old grandson and I just built a tripod raised-bed while camping this weekend. It turned out great and we had some great bonding time doing it. Next time.... fire! We will use 2 or 3 methods to build fires. Hey, maybe do a video for older (fatter with knee problems) people. Every time I watch your videos I go build a fire, cook some bacon with a delicious side meat and enjoy! I absolutely love this channel! Not only do you teach a lot of very useful skills, you have great humor, and you’re a culinary genius of the wilds! I’ve never seen a video that you’ve released that’s been bad. That raised bed is inspiring. I like the simplicity of it, yet strong. I also liked the raised fire. When you lit your fire, maybe having something like that in Slo-Mo would look so cool. Food for thought.

You just made a bed/shelter version of a tree stand. How awesome is that?! Imagine you're out bow hunting, and you don't even need to leave, because you have your shelter right there to keep out of the elements, and to sleep. So cool!

Hey, I watch you hating on the instant coffee, got one for you: ground coffee spooned into coffee filter, tie w/ string, PRESTO, instant coffee bag, use it like a tea-bag, trash easily burns up in the fire. Hope you like it black!
You are a great woodland teacher. I bet you have done this before, but those knots were amazing. I wish I knew more about knots! And popcorn in bacon grease, heaven!
We used to carry a rope around our waist and at any given moment tie one of about 6 or 8 different knots. Then learn to tie them behind your back or without looking. I highly recommend learning knots for a life skill and 100% for rigging in survival based situations. A shelter is only as strong as it's weakest link much like everything in life.

Your "Floating camp site" is the ONLY WAY to go camping in a swampy or wet area. You are totally amazing & so much fun to watch/ learn from : -) !! GREAT video
I can't believe someone said you aren't sleeping in the woods because you didn't have a pillow! I have always used a rolled up piece of clothing. People are ridiculous! Great video! These techniques would come in handy in the swamp.
I was a sergeant in the army for 18 and 3 month years and I am proud to say you are doing a great job. I have 3 tours under my belt and I was in ground zero for 9/11. My tour left me broken like they said in the military and was medically discharge honorable. So great job to you and I wish there was a pathfinder school here in the new state I live Connecticut. And you taught me a lot even with land navigation, and that’s hard to say that an army guy learned from an corporal in the marines. Thank you.
