I watched both videos and have been watching both of your travels since Vietnam, since my family introduced me to both of you. With the lack of international travel/dining, this really really made me so excited to watch! It gave me both a bit of a fix for something that I miss and a renewed excitement for getting back out there once things get (hopefully) better since we have little ones tagging along now. Chris, I love you and your videos. But I have to say this, the most annoying thing after as being sober hanging out with a drunk person is someone every two seconds saying "you are drunk" to the drunk/tipsy person. Keep up the great videos.
Was watching this sober during the day, then had some errands, ended up catching max i guess, if you can call it that. On my second bottle. 23:22 + the other moments you self deprecated. Nah man I'm watching, love all this sort of content. :) And if drinks, big bonus. Funny part is i don't like seafood, yet still watch the food channels since its interesting despite my dislike. Love the content man, Peru is pretty awesome. Wine quality looked pretty decent, drinking Australian cheap wine, still quite nice, however that's chilean a lot of it, awesome. Yet to try some, big insights / future taste tests from videos like this :) Like i said don't like seafood, but there is knowledge gained in the wine and dishes in general, plus great setting and atmosphere. Really like the music, sounds like a game sort of intro / pause track / safehouse music. Very calm, like a safe sort of sound, sound of respite / peace.
Why do you constantly make comments about Max enjoying his expensive meal with a little adult beverage? It kinda brings the video down with all the Max, alcohol and drunk comments.
Max should've cracked a joke about the wooden spoon. Q: Why do you think they gave us a wooden spoon? A: Cause we wood'nt have known any better. Hope this makes it to the pin. 😂

I also really appreciate you included every waiter's descriptions of what you were being served no one does that. I've been following Max 3 or 4 years now and found you cause of him. I am really enjoying your videos that are in English, the ones in Vietnamese were kinda of hard for me to follow. Also seeing you were from Denver was very exciting to me, I live in the Boulder area.

Horrors! Reminded me of teaching a couple of friends how to eat. [One friend was a former Dominican monk. Chris pulling the food out of the bowl with liquid dripping! Yikes. And then smelling the wooden spoon while rubbing it on his nose. Oh my. Glad Chris enjoyed the experience. The same meal in San Francisco would be much more expensive. Fun. :------>))

Is it religious, spiritual, health or personal preference? Do you drink occasionally or not at all (including sips here and there)?

Your camera works for both were not great... It would have been a better experience if you film the dishes as the servers explain what they are, instead of filming him most of the time. Even when you show the dishes, they are out of frame or partially in frame... we want to see what you see too :-)
