Cat & Cloud was founded by three friends on mission to leave people feeling happier than they found them. Specialty coffee is our catalyst for creating positive experiences in the lives of our guests and employees.
We're a small independent business and this is our story.
Enjoy!
I've never been to origin, but I can only imagine how much perspective a trip can give someone on the true value of the coffee they're drinking. Also, on the note on how much effort really goes into picking, processing, etc., what can people, baristas and non-baristas alike, do to reduce coffee waste whether its from dropping beans to purging a grinder?
You def hit the nail on the head! One way to reduce coffee waste (during latte art training at least) is to use cacao powder instead of coffee, as featured in our recent "Milk Party" video ua-cam.com/video/drWSP7g7YHU/v-deo.html
Beautiful guys!!
Thanks homie!
nice video from my village to the world on Kenyan premium coffee. good job!
Absolutely awesome Alex! Well done for the C and C videos !
Thank you for your support, Jonas!
Colombian coffee professional here. WOW! kenya is really different than Colombia. here the farmer dries the coffee himself, African beds aren't that common, we don't have cherry buyers, and we don´t call anithing the factory, we sell the coffee to a cooperative in parchment, all farmers make the process of floating the cherries. I could go on all day but this was the most unusualt and the first things that I notice. Sorry if my english isn't the best
Thanks for your comment! Can't wait for an opportunity to go to Colombia to see all the differences and nuances :-D
@@CatCloudCoffee thanks for reply!!, can't wait for you guys at cat and cloud to come here to Colombia to spread some happiness and drink some really nice coffees
holy crap.
Ayyyy!
Rad video, but the "old lady" comment?
Thanks for your support, Steve! I definitely don't mean any ill will towards those ladies, but I totally understand where you're coming from. I was so struck by all the intense manual labor those ladies were doing, day in and day out. Truly inspiring!
