My six year old daughter gave this video a very big thumbs up! She liked watching the welding, told me she uses a stencil in her art class, and said the best part was the design of the door. I liked it too. Thanks for another great video.
Amazing how you cut steel free hand with the grinder & it all then fits so snugly making something that looks like it has been together for a hundred years or more. So inspirational! Thank you for sharing!
I love the table saw blade burn marks left in as a design element. I don't recall seeing that before, and it really adds interest. Another awesome project. I learn more every time I watch your videos.
Oh. Somebody is getting a nice party tomorrow... Jimmy, you are a true craftsman. Anyone would be lucky to have anything made by you. And the Halloween lighting was nice. Cheers!
Wow!!! What an awesome build. They are going to be so happy with it and happy they gave you the freedom to do what you want with the build. Way to go Bro!!
Awesome Job. I really like the way you set up the lighting in your videos now. You have grow so much. Not just as a craftsman, but an artist as well. Keep going.
Super cool. I like the riveted/tacked look all the tack welds give and the wire mesh stuff. They’re going to love it! And you’re outro would’ve made Vimeo proud, haha -Caleb Harris
Loved this build! also gives me some great ideas of what to do with a pile of left over flat bar I have lying in my shop. The wood looks amazing, that lightly sanded, but still rough sawn finish is my favourite.
Another Classic looking cabinet with a Stagecoach Strongbox look to it . Created by the skillful hand of DiResta . If I'm Lying , I'm Dieing , With the "Never forget a Promise " attitude your brother from another mother .... PYD Creations
The best thing about being able to build stuff like this, Is that you can customize everything the way that you want it to be. you never have to go to a store and look at furniture and then pick something out. you can just have an idea and then make it.
Another amazing piece of practical furniture as art and design. Classic Diresta, the build is breathtaking in its simplicity and seemingly ad hoc construction and yet the result is a beautifully proportioned elegant object with an indefinable air of authenticity. I don't know whether to feel inspired or burn my shed to the ground in despair. :-)
Great project. I really like the way you speed up the segments and tweak the sounds. The rattles and taps are almost soothing. Glad there is not obnoxious music going on, just the tweaked actual sounds. I really like the way your videos are "produced" very entertaining and you can get the scope of how you built it. Keep it up.
a superb video, as usual. thank you for this ray of sunshine that you offer us each time. a special thought for New Yorkers from France ... and the rest of the world.
You just keep getting better and better, i support your growth like a brother. Keep up the great work and inspiring those who watch, to do something amazing!
I've been going back and forth on whether to do full beads or a series of tacks on an upcoming project. I think you just gave me more confidence in the tacks. Looks great!
It never ceases to amaze me jimmy how you take the humblest of items and materials and make them into freaking 5th avenue level artwork, thanks for sharing it with us

I know someone else who would appreciate something like this. Wow, who ever received this must be super excited to have it. Amazing work and such attention to detail.
Bad ass! And reminiscent of the first Diresta video I ever saw. Which was your reception desk. Keep on being bad ass! You are inspirational; and continually make me want to be a better teacher, and maker. Keep on keeping on!
So my wife says to me “hey honey, could you make me one of those?” And I said. “sure baby” So how much including freight to Melbourne Australia Jimmy? Oh...and don’t sign it ok? 😉😂

A classic Diresta. I wonder if people will collect his stuff in 100 years. Posters, axes, cabinets. Good thing he stencils them so extensively.
