- I was commissioned by LetsGrabA.Beer to make this 24 pack case box. I use White Oak, Ipe and Steel. With Brass screws to accent the wood. #NationalBeerDay

jimmydiresta You make great stuff, I get that. But lots of people do. You wanna know what keeps me coming back over and over? It's your presentation. I like that you speak through your actions and waste no words. I like that you don't play music over the top of the wonderful shop sounds that we all know and love -those sounds are music enough. As a DIY'er, I especially appreciate how much you teach us and how much time you spend answering questions, I know it takes a lot of time and effort to satiate the masses. Thank you, Jimmy. Keep rockin' baby!
Brandon Libby wow thank you brother!! thank you!!
I gotta say this. And I maybe wrong, but I think glue and nails have a special place in your heart. In every video I've seen you always glue something then nail it. And the nails are only spaces like 3 or 4 inches apart. Make sure it doesn't come apart and it's built to last!
It's 1 am and I can't stop watching Diresta videos.
To make the dado cuts, I would place a block between the part and the stop, make the cut, pull out the block, and make the opposite side cut. No measuring. Then remove the material between the two cuts.
I love coming up with smart moves and shortcuts, and even I have learned a few things watching you. Thanks for all of the sharing you've done.
Watching that box go together in high speed was super satisfying!
The bottle openers built into the end of the handles are a nice touch.
An absolute beauty. Excellent craftsmanship as always. Jimmy has an eye for sturdy, yet elegant and purposeful design.
What a terrific piece of craftsmanship from the begining to the end. Congratulations!
Мега мастер . Уважение и поклон!!!!!!
Awesome, brass hardware and metal handle really set it apart and make it pop!
finally jimmy has build something truly useful, something that humanity as a specias has been in need of for many many years.
love these 30-minute projects. I´ll give it a try today at my lunch break
Absolutely beautiful. I love mixing wood and metal. The brass screws are a perfect accent. Love your work JD
Beer and woodwork ! Doesn't get any better than this ! Great video Jimmy
Excellent craftsmanship! Love the bottle opener handle.
I like those brass finishes! Where metal and wood collide.
There should be a drinking game called "Spot The DiResta." Every time you see the word DiResta in one of his videos, you have to drink.
People would be dying of alcohol poisoning while enjoying custom projects.
+Chris Moore I was thinking similar. Guy must have had a ton of tools get stolen for his name to be on literally everything.
+Travis Fisher My though is that he does this to watermark his videos.
+Chris Moore Sometimes I wonder if there name obsessions.
He commented on video that it was his way of watermarking his videos so that they cannot get stolen successfully.
I bet when he was a kid he wrote his name on EVERYTHING
Excellent! Especially like the opener built into the handle!
Such a handsome, sturdily built case, worthy of carrying the best beers in the world... and they put Budweiser in it.
you are perfect Jimmy.l'm learning new things on all step.Thank you.
I like the bottle opener incorporated into the handle, great job!
I figured he would have countersunk(sinked) the screws in the bottom.
***** My first thought was to get some of those little rubber feet that you screw onto the bottom. Use the handle screws to hold the feet on.
Matt de Oliveira not enough room in the wood i will put rubber feet to meet the screws from hitting the ground first
Matt de Oliveira no problem.. was also after closing time at the hardware store... and the party people were waiting!! had to make due!
jimmydiresta this comment made me laugh, I instantly imagined a bunch of people waiting around like "come on,we are thirsty, it's good enough!" Then "Look now he's staining it!" :-)
Kevin Stempien Ha! Then someone says, "But the beer won't be cold until he builds a refrigerator to cool it down. We're going to be waiting for beer forever."
Great job Jimmy. Thanks, Douglas.
I really enjoyed the opener embedded bottles!
great project, especially with the build in beer opener
This is the most awesome process I've ever seen with my own eyes. Absolutely fascinating!
Every piece you make is a work of art - well done...cheers from Canada!
I've never seen a drink case with such a sturdy handle, but it's a good idea.
The handle design really put it over the top. Great work as usual!
Jimmy Diresta works wood and metal for a project for...BEER! Does it get any better? I don't think so. I can now enjoy my weekend. Thanks Jimmy.
this is the most beautiful thing ever made !!
Beautiful and practical design! Loved the custom wood filler! Really enjoyed both wood and metal working! Thanks for sharing another awesome build with us!
I like the wood clamp as the stop block on the table saw fence. Nice video!
I wish Jimmy would have painted DiResta on all of the beers.
There is 2 things I love about your channel.. Something about the fast forwarded videos I love and you my friend are skilled. Makes me want to get out in my shop and create things. But that's hard with a 3 year old girl and a 6 month old boy and my wife working all the time. When I do get a chance to get out there I have your amazing videos to motivate me!! Thank you for giving me something to watch when my kids are napping LOL.. On another note I would love to have something with your brand on it to support you! Great work man keep em coming and ill keep watching
love the added opener! awesome
Hoegaarden, Stella Artois and Budweiser classic! DiResta knows something about good beer :)
Gracias por compartir, es genial sus trabajos nunca se sabe con que nos puede sorprender es genial.
Interesting joinery technique with the dividers/sides. Cool!
Beautiful! As always. The cutting of the tennons looks like the making of a table saw tips video. Keep up the good work Jimmy, you inspire us.
This was a cool project. Specially liked the opening device on the bar handle. You are a huge inspiration for me!! Keep it up!
Great project Jimmy! Always enjoy watching your builds.
Simples e bem feita.Parabéns Diresta. Seu amigo do Brasil.
Thanks Jimmy. Very nice.
Love it! Love the idea with the tape! It's genius
Your videos are the best. Perfect match for my taste. New listener to the "Making It" Podcast. Especially love the way you thumb your nose at the purest snobs who think there is only one way to do something. One of my favorite tools is an ice pick as well. Keep up the good work.
Beer is life.
The bottle opener was a nice touch!
That bottle opener is a nice touch!
Great work Jimmy Love the creativity and simplicity of solid design with extra practical use.
Beautiful.
you inspire me to start welding and metal work.... but i gotta get this woodwork thing lol. thank you
Simply awesome....
Really cool design. Always fun to watch.
wish i had a sander like that in my shop ! very nice work !
wish i was lucky enough to have a beer with jimmy. that would be so cool.
Loucura total !!!!!......
I like watching your videos before I look at the title so I have no clue what you are building. It would be awesome if you came out with a mystery build series!
I was just thinking today, "Well it's been about a week so maybe there'll be a new diresta video soon". Glad there is, thanks Jimmy! Top notch as usual.
this is just magic.
I think the aliens are trying to communicate through jimmys planer
Haha!! The truth is out there.
+Christopher Hilder He responded with his router.
Christopher Hilder aliens are a hoax. NASA is a fraud. EARTH IS FLAT, ask UA-cam
What a gorgeous box also a nice video with neat sound effects. It looks like a lot of effort and thought went into both.
The sound effects are just the sound of jimmy working sped up with the video
My favorite part was at 11:14 when the guy in the brown coat goes to grab a particular bottle and someone else gets it first so he doesn't take one at all. Great video!
Love the contrast with the Ipe against the White Oak, Jimmy.
Enjoying all your videos you are truly a gifted person. (PS) your show hammered blows away the diy shows on TV now.
The brass screw heads look sick!
Bottoms up Jimmy! The brass screws... nice touch!
Wow what an amazing project, you never cease to amaze me!!!
I've got to say, I've never thought of using a stepper bit as a grinding tool before. Pretty good idea though, because it looked like it worked fairly well.
i love spilling half my beer in the process of opening it.
Fantastic. I've really become a fan of your videos. Thank you!
první věc, co se mi od DiResta nelíbí, moc masivní a těžké.
I bet that weighs a ton. Still a great build and as always I learned a few new techniques along the way. Thanks Jimmy!
One of your nicest pieces.
Awesome idea with the cap lifter in the handle! Great execution thruought, as always!
Nice work! The openers in the handle are a great idea too!
Mmm, that beer looks so good today. I like how you incorporated the opener into the handle. Very cool combo of wood and metal.
a thing of beauty good job jimmy as always
I love watching your videos. Keep em coming!
great video, beautiful beer crate , amazing dizziness ...
Another fantastic build and thank you for sharing. I personally would change one thing. Popping the bottle tops off looked a bit tight in space for a hand and a bottle. You put the bottle opener on the underside. How about on the end of the handle, so its cut into the vertical edge. It would give so much more space for a hand and bottle. Just an idea that popped into my head right after watching your video. Thanks for confirming me as a friend on Facebook too, it made my day, month and year! Thank you.
Nice project.
Watching the fast motion of Jimmy sanding by hand made me think, "Jimmy the Power Sander". :)
Beautiful!
That's awesome! Love the added features you always put in stuff
Great project Jimmy.... Allways wonder about your creativity
Thanks for sharing
As always Jimmy, pure genius!
Keep em coming!
Really nice... You had me wondering what the notch in the round bar was for... great addition!!!
Nice workmanship jimmy a true pro
Simply amazing every time!
Wow, you're creativity has no limits. Great job and keep up the good work. Cheers!
Very nice! I like the bottle opener!
Nice! The bottle opener definitely works, but it might be less messy to have one that allows the bottle to lever down instead of sideways. It is still cool.
You push me to change my professhen and become a maker like you!! Ofer Nahari Israel
What a fun and creative build! Great job (as always).
Pure genius!!!!
Love this J D every man wants to roll up with one of these to party, light bulb moment get a version of this on wheels wow totally inspired thanks J D.
Nice work Jimmy.Thank you for sharing!
When you were drilling the rod and then cut the slot out, I was saying to myself I know that shape from somewhere. I have a Bud bottle opener which is round with the same shape. Nice work.
I dont know about anyone else, but I would love to see one of these projects built in real time
French fan of your job! I like the way you work without plans just feeling and good ideas ! Sorry for my english...
