Thanks for all your hard, dedicated work, Victoria; it's greatly appreciated by hoards of us whether we're trying to lose weight or control our diabetes!
I have been following Victoria through each iteration of her flour blends with each getting successively better. My go to recipe to test a flour replacement is biscuits and this flour nails it for me! Eating biscuits each morning and losing weight, and my blood sugar has stayed in line! I've tried this flour with MANY of my higher carb recipes only swapping out the flour and using Allulose as my sweetener and it hasnt failed me yet! Im in low carb heaven!
@donnaannetruth9722 I used both the New Standard #2 w/ Almond Flour and the New Standard Keto Flour 2.0 (Almond Flour version) with best results. The Pecan Flour/meal version didn't work so well for me. I have been able to use every version for one thing or another but breads/biscuits come out best with 2.0 version. Family has no idea they are low carb and we're from the south!
Hello Wes, as a diabetic, celiac and other sensitivies, I have saved a lot of money with your battles and as a senior living on a wing and a prayer it's so important. Thank you so much for your efforts and leading us to other amazing Keto/Carnivore chefs!! I finally received Bamboo Fiber for the 2.0 recipe from Victoria (used Oat Fiber previously). I just pulled the Dream Biscuits out of the oven....couldn't wait to try them and OH MY GOODness!!! Real biscuits! In love with this flour and the biscuit recipe...so excited about the possibilities.....chicken & dumplins here I come!!
I grew up in the south but since I was diagnosed with T1 Diabetes I couldn’t have biscuits anymore…and if I did, my blood sugar levels would skyrocket. I made these biscuits and I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was to be able to eat a biscuit again and as a T1. 😃
My 4-year-old granddaughter was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last month. Just ordered the bamboo fiber as I'm sure I'm going to end up using a lot of it and she's worth the extra money.
Wes, I am delighted that you have tried Victoria’s amazing newest flour iteration 2.0. I was even more delighted that you saw the comment to use the warm cream from the test kitchen recipe for the biscuits! Victoria’s newest flour opens a whole new world for keto baking and cooking! Isn’t she just the dearest person?! God bless you both!
While I would never wish type 1 om anyone.... tell her welcome to the club we hope no one will ever have to join one day! I've been type 1 over 30 years- now with more and more keto, diet, zero sugar things out there it isn't as much of a curse as it was in the early 90s but even the 90s was better than the 60s or 30s. One day they will find a cure I wish you all the best of luck!
I just love when you "LOVE" something. The expression on your face just makes me smile. Thanks for trying it, I"m gonna give it a try. I kept yelling at my tv, "Wes, slap some butter on that biscuit."
I made Betty Crocker recipe for blueberry muffins with this and they were light and fluffy and delicious. I have used it for even sopapillas and biscuits. Amazing!
@@leeannn6299 I used Besti because it’s half allulose and half monk fruit. Allulose aids in browning, but makes baked goods too moist on its own. So I like the blends
I just got my bamboo fiber and whipped up the keto flour and some dream biscuits. I have died and gone to HEAVEN!!! I never thought I would find a keto bread biscuit recipe that was close to a real biscuit, these are wonderful!!!! One happy fat southern girl here!!! Thank you Victoria!! Thank you Wes!!!
I just made these biscuits and they are delicious! Thanks Wes for being my go to, to find great recipes! Also, just an FYI for everyone that when using this flour blend it doesn't have to be weighed out in grams for any recipe going forward..... she did a question and answer video and clarified it in that video that weighing is only necessary when creating the flour blend.... after that, we can just use a standard measuring cup and sub it in any recipe using the cup measure, no weighing necessary.... this tip really simplifies its use....
Thank you Wes for trying this flour. I have been sitting on it for a while but afraid to try it. I was hoping you would eventually. Out of all the keto UA-cam channel creators I trust your opinion most. I know by your face as soon as you taste something if it’s good. Thank you for doing what you do.😍
I have made these biscuits a few times and the recipe is very good as is. I love this keto flour and it works really well in other recipes, I made these biscuits last night, with a few minor tweaks of the ATK recipe and they were out of this world. I increased the baking powder from 1 tablespoon to 1.5 tablespoon because Victoria has stated that her flour requires more baking powder when substituting white flour in a recipe. For the sweetener, I used 1 tablespoon of allulose instead of 4 teaspoons, as I wanted to control the browning, especially on the bottom, which had been an issue in previous iterations. Because the recipe calls for baking soda, I added 1 teaspoon or apple cider vinegar to assist with rise. Lastly, after brushing the biscuits with a salted butter, I I baked at 425F , instead of 450F for 10-12 minutes, just to control the browning. The biscuits were the best I had ever made-the crumb was perfect and I think tweaking the leavening agents did the trick and it was reminiscent of Popeye’s biscuit in terms of texture.
I admire Victoria's research and dedication. I made these Dream Biscuits yesterday with her 2.0 flour. Wow, just wow. Today I had one leftover with sausage and cheese. Didn't spike my blood sure at ALL. 🙌
Finally got the proper ingredients to make Victoria's 2.0 flour AND made the ATK "dream" biscuits. This southern gal is in heaven! I haven't had a proper tasting biscuit since 2017, until this morning that is. Wow! Just wow! No keto/low carb biscuit in the world even came close to being the proper taste and texture. The endless possibilities with this flour... It wasn't even on my radar until you made this video so thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!! 🙏🏻🥰
I just made a pumpkin bread recipe I have wanted to try for years and made it with her “New Improved Keto Flour 2.0” and it was amazing. I made the 2.0 pecan flour version. The texture was so true to the traditional bread, that my family had absolutely no idea. I served it at a football watch party and it was gone! I have a new found love for baking my fall treats, and I thank God for Victoria at Victoria’s Keto Kitchen! I have tried many recipes in the past that have fallen way short of the traditional world of baking when living in our keto/ low carb lifestyle, but because of her talents, I am back! God bless her for working so hard to better the health of others. God Bless!
@@callmeal9658..... I never hear back when I want a recipe so I will give you advice. Go to any regular pumpkin bread recipe and do the same thing except use Victoria's flour in replace of the flour and sweeteners in replace of sugar and use an unsweetened pumpkin puree.
Victoria works tirelessly to perfect her recipes and gives them to us freely! She is an angel from God! Wes, thank you so, so, so much for reproducing her recipe and making the ultimate test of any keto recipe-biscuits! Love this video and your tips! ❤
I love Victoria. I have had to follow a gf diet for years. This is a life changer. Growing up in a bakery, I know good products. She has allowed me to love baking again on a healthier perspective. Gf products are full of unhealthy starches and fillers. Victoria has been blessed with a gift to bring this to us.
I halved the dream biscuit recipe, as I didn't have enough of the 2.0 keto flour for a full recipe. I used a 1/4 cup instead of a 1/3 cup to shape the biscuits. The baking time was virtually the same as for a full recipe (10 mins., turning the pan around after 5 mins.). The result was 6 perfect biscuits. Also, I didn't bother painting the finished biscuits with melted butter. There was no noticeable difference, as I eat biscuits with lots of butter anyway!
I give her all thumbs down. Nothing I made from her flour recipes was at all edible. Followed weights and instructions to a tee and it was all terrible.
@@donnaannetruth9722 That's odd I just literally made her flour and bread yesterday and it came out AMAZING!!!! I was blown away. I read her comments and was planning on making the dream biscuits also. Sorry you had a bad experience. Sometimes altitude makes a difference. If it's too wet use less water. Wishing you BETTER RESULTS.
@@donnaannetruth9722 oh? This is the first time, someone has said that it was a bad recipe (that, I've seen), may I ask how long you have been off carbs?
This is to Donna whatever your rest is. Did you take your meds that day? You’re about the rudest beach I’ve come across. There’s a better way of expressing your disappointment and you need to start using that method.
I made up a double batch of Victoria's newest bamboo fiber flour, and then I decided to try out a carnivore lifestyle. What was I thinking! I lasted 3 days and am now back on keto where I belong - I need these biscuits in my life. Thank you Wes and Victoria for everything you do to help the keto community!
The warm cream is necessary to get the Xantan gum to be activated and act like gluten. Cold cream would not activate the binding properties of Xantan gum.
Wes, Victoria just released her Keto Bisquik recipe. And Cook With Mel has a Keto Bisquik recipe too, along with her Clean Keto Flour recipe made with Bamboo Fiber and either Almond Flour or Chicken Flour. Please do a bread battle! I'm anxious to know which makes a better bread. Although I truly love Victoria's NS Keto Flour 2.0 with Pecan Flour for my Toll House Cookies. It's the best one I've found so far, but I've yet to try Mel's for that. Thanks, Wes! We all love you!
I agree! Mel has been working just as hard as Victoria and her 1-1 CK flour blend has helped me to make amazing cornbread (her recipe)and lemon blueberry pinwheel cookies following her CK Magic cookies. It is absolutely worth trying and comparing! Wes, you are a doll and I wish I had met you when you loved here in Indy!
Had to chuckle at your response on the biscuits. I’ve been following you and Victoria for a while. You are both amazing. These recipes make you feel “normal” and able to recreate favorite recipes from your childhood. Thanks for what you do.
I did this with the Preppy Kitchen biscuits twice, subbing her flour and heavy cream with water for milk, and they are absolutely delicious. Will definitely will try this!
Putting in my 2 cents worth.....The texture is on point!!! In all honesty prepared for the typical eggy taste in the background even with butter and you can probably go with 1 tsp of salt instead of 1 1/2 tsp. Thank the Lord I now have a descent biscuit to have with my soups this winter! We will be trying the pizza dough next.
EDIT: We put half of the biscuits close together to see if there would be more lift and the other half separate. The ones we put close together had more lift and were just about perfect.
FYI - If you want the classic layers, add your cream cold, then (just like regular dough) fold it on top of itself, dust, fold, etc till you cut out the rounds w a cutter. : )
Have you tried it? When they did the side by side hot and cold on America's test kitchen the cold did not fare well, but that was same mixtures maybe with cold you just need to make some adjustments to the liquid/solid ratio.
@@TheEvilmooseofdoom QUOTE: " Have you tried it? " Yep - every month when 'NEED' to make a biscuits - but I do not make 2 ingredients make my biscuits - I use 3; 2 flours and heavy cream. : )
Just yesterday I was looking to see if you had tried her flour. 😊. When you try her bread consider trying her old recipe with oat fiber and the new one with the bamboo fiber to see if those of us who can’t get bamboo flour can live with the old recipe. 😅. Thanks! Love your videos.
The biggest problem I've found trying to copy keto recipes is the creator always the video talking about how awesome they're newest bestest thing is. Fortunately, we have people like Steve at Serious Keto, The Keto Twins, and YOU, to give us an honest appraisal of these dishes. Thanks for all you do. P.S. I honestly thought you were going to cry when you took that first bite (Now tell the truth - you ate them all didn't you?).
Loved your video! I found the ingredients and made these. I decided to make them dairy free by using canned unsweetened coconut cream. Still great! My only problem is the inside was kind of doughy and damp, maybe I need to cook longer? I'm no expert on biscuits...I come from the Boston area.
@@raccoonsewsperhaps the problem is that you changed the recipe? Coconut cream might have made a difference in the structure. It’s so difficult trying to convert recipes to dairy free, but I love coconut milk and coconut cream (and I’m not dairy free, not sure if you are).
Thank you so much for testing this! I have been subscribed to Victoria 's channel for a few months. She is such a wonderful and genuine person. I getting my order in so I can use her keto flour to make pastry dough for my holiday pies. Thank you for your great channel.
I tried the biscuits with her new "Nut Free" version today and they came out good, too. They needed to bake about 3 minutes longer, though, due to the flax meal. 😋
I LOVE her!!!! I have stocked up on this flour for the last 6 months now. She's incredible and I make all the bread recipes she has out there. Thank you Wes for showcasing her! Thank you Victoria. God Bless you!
Thanks, Wesley! Fwiw, probably make the flour mixture in a zip bag. Then you can shake the mess out of it, for the best baked outcome(s), as per Victoria’s mixing instructions. ❤️🍀
Hint for others use a basic regular size ice cream scoop with the slider for dividing up the dough. It makes 12 biscuits perfect size for biscuit sandwiches and way easier.
I just made these biscuits, and they were the best result that I have had in my keto baking experiments! Thanks for testing the recipe and sharing your results!
I hesitated to watch your review b/c I wanted Victoria's recipe to be just what she said it was, and I trust your reviews. Soooo glad you loved her flour recipe. She has a new one that is nut free. It's made with golden flaxseed meal. I have almond flour and flaxseed meal so I'm gonna make both flours. I'm so happy! 😊
Hello again keto family. I thought I’d share this happy accident with you. I was measuring out the standard 2.0 flour for the dream biscuits when I discovered I only had 2.5 cups instead of 3. So I decided to try a variation of a chocolate biscuit I used to make before keto. I added 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder and increased sweetener to 1/2 cup and continued per directions. It worked well. Chocolate dream biscuits ❤
LOVE watching you and the "You are my new best friend..." made me snort my coffee, lol. CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU ON THE FOOD NETWORK and they are crazy if they are not knocking on your door in the near future. Good job, Wesley.
I'm so happy you've given Victoria's flour a shot! I've been singing her praises since she created her 1st flour. Thanks for this because she deserves recognition. I thoroughly enjoy your videos... especially when you taste the results. You're a HOOT!😁
I’ve made these biscuits like 3 or 4 times can’t remember and they are so freaking good. I make a half batch to keep the flour lasting longer. The first batch I made I put tablespoons of sugar instead of teaspoons and actually prefer it so now I always put the tablespoons. It definitely gives the biscuits a higher quality taste like you would get at an upscale breakfast restaurant or a bed and breakfast.
I have been using Victoria’s oat fiber flour recipe for quite some time. It has worked great in every recipe I have tried. If you liked the dream biscuits, don’t forget to make the gravy with her flour. I used some heavy cream diluted with water in a standard white gravy with black pepper. It was the best B&Gs ever in my low carb journey!
I made up @victoriasketokitchen 2.0 flour with bamboo and pecan flour. I keep it in the fridge for recipes. Wes, I watched your video and tried it. My biscuits are so good! The pecan flour adds a speckled coloring but the taste is delicious. 0:030:03
Ive used the standard 2.0, buttermilk, baking powder, and a little allulose for biscuits and put the dough in a small casserole dish for mock cornbread and both are delicious❤
Thanks for testing out this recipe for us! I wonder how this flour holds up in making gravy, pizza crust, and cakes? BTW, I click so fast when I see your videos pop up - love you and your content!😘
Victoria's Keto Kitchen has recipes on her channel for low carb gravy, pizza crust, cakes, cookies, muffins...you name it. She's great and so creative and effective with low carb!
I made this recipe today for the first time... I got 12 because I used a quarter cup measure... OMG!!! I am in LOVE!!! Thank you SO MUCH for this! Tomorrow morning I am having an egg, cheese and Canadian Bacon biscuit for breakfast!!! Love you and Victoria!
*MIND BLOWN* I just made these biscuits yesterday, with Victoria's four blend with the bamboo fiber. Truly, my mind is totally blown. I've followed the a keto/carnivore way of eating for five years now and NEVER during that time have I ever been able to create anything SO truly bread like (or biscuits in this case) I'm over the top in love with these. THANK YOU for making this recipe on your youtube channel - I cannot rate it highly enough.
I just pulled our biscuits out of the oven. Oh. My. Word! I am a Type 1 diabetic, and this just rocked my baking world. I no longer will search for the perfect bread/biscuit recipe. This nailed it. Also, a thumbs up with a buttery smile from my husband. Also, I only managed eight- 1/3 cup measured biscuits. They rose perfectly and I used Oat Fiber. They are super fluffy and moist.
My cup that I measure by placing spoon in by spoon in was only about 60 grams. You either have to pack it or heap it to get close to 84 grams of flour. At least that was how it was for me, and I got 10 perfect biscuits with a 1/3 cup measurement.
I used an ice cream scoop to make mine, the standard 1/4 cup scoop sprayed with avocado oil. I halved the biscuit recipe and got 6 that were the perfect size (to me) so I assume you'd have 12 if making the full recipe🤷🏼♀️. I'm cooking for one so 10 or 12 would be waaaayyyyyy too many, even 6 is more than I bargained for 😂.
Can’t wait to make these. I n Australia these are called scones, they look just like them. I have bought all her ingredients and you are amazing as well. Thanks for your honesty.
I made these last night - I've been on and off keto for a decade now and this flour is a GAME CHANGER. I'm so happy. The flavor is mildly eggy but pretty darn good! No almond taste at all. Thank you for trying out the recipe, you convinced me it was worth the money to buy all the ingredients.
I've been watching Victoria but have been hesitant to purchase "more" ingredients. Thank you for doing this, I've been really been craving biscuits for a bacon biscuit in the morning. When I saw your thumbnail about her flour and what looked like a biscuit I was excited and you didn't disappoint. Guess I'm going to jump on the Bamboo bandwagon and give it a try. 😁
I just recently found Victoria's Keto Kitchen and her flour video. I ordered and received my ingredients. I have had to be gluten free since 2006 and as a southern gal, I really, really missed having good tasting biscuits. When I discovered Biquick gluten free blend and made some biscuits, I was happy. But now that I am fighting diabetes, the gluten free flours are a no-no for me. Shorter story, I made these biscuits this morning and I almost cried. They are sooooooooooo good!! Now I just have to slow down eating them or they'll be gone in an hour, lol. Thanks Wes for this video, you rock!!!
I read the same comment and had this on my list of recipes to try. Made this today with the oat fiber. Exceptionally good! Now I need to know how to store and reheat them.
Thank you Wes!! I love Victoria’s UA-cam channel! I’ve bought all of the ingredients but haven’t put it together yet…I don’t know why. You’ve inspired me to go ahead and make her flour and get to baking. Your enthusiasm is contagious!! I’ll probably make some cookies or brownies first. I’ve never been a big biscuit eater even though I’m from the Deep South.
Biscuits were the first thing I made - sausage and biscuits for breakfast all the time now. And I thought my keto biscuit recipe was pretty good before... Can't touch real biscuits with Victoria's flour.
the last time that I remember you making biscuits, was a battle with Christi's and Matt/Magha. With Christi's winning....but they were so small. I knew that with you making this, your review would be paramount. I bought these ingredients for both Victoria's flour and Cooking with Mel's clean zero carb flour, in mind. So glad this worked. wonder if Cheddar Bay Biscuits can work with this recipe?
yes and very good. I ventured in to try it and love it. I added 1.5 cup of shredded tex-mex cheese and freeze dried chives. I used 1/2 cup measure to make them bigger and flattened it slightly...yielding 8 sandwich biscuit size. I melted salted butter, garlic powder, onion powder and freeze dried chives to baste the tops when baked. Soooooo good.
These are beyond good. I've already made them several times. I've used them in a sausage breakfast sandwich, as a side with Chilli, as a side with a pot roast and the new mashed potatoes, with butter and Jelly, with strawberries for strawberry shortcake and sugarfree whipped cream, and soon I'll do a biscuits and gravy. No, not a low calorie...but boy does it hit the spot. Best bread product yet.
OK. So one of the things that I truly miss is buttermilk fried chicken. The buttermilk can go low carb but the flour replacement has been hard. So now with this Victoria flour I'm wondering if we can actually get a good tasting, low carb buttermilk fried chicken. Maybe in the near future you can compare Victoria flour with pork rind flour. Or maybe chicken tenders. Anyway, thanks for this review :).
Oh, trust me - no comparison! This tastes exactly like wheat flour in or on things. As Wes showed, you make up a batch of keto flour then you use it in any recipe you like. You can make all your old favorites and they taste just as good! You do have to have a scale and weigh it out for it to work properly and, of course, you have to replace sugars with sugar substitutes. But it's really that simple. No reason to miss your chicken.
I’ve tried it for southern fried chicken and it works IF you add 2/3-1 cup pork rind Panko bread crumbs. The reason for this is, though everything browns incredibly, the perfect keto flour absorbs too much oil. I’ve tried in the air fryer as well, but you still have to spray the chicken before starting the air fryer. But with keto Panko crumbs it works beautifully.
Ty so much for this review. Have been on the fence about trying her bamboo fiber version...u convinced me. Love and enjoy your videos. You never fail to make me smile at least once when viewing them. Your hard work is very appreciated.
Thank you for doing this. I’m now ready to invest in a scale and bamboo fiber. Can’t wait to try this. 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you to Victoria as well. She’s brilliant! 🌞
My kitchen scale was the best investment I ever made. I use it for everything I can. I now wish all recipes used weights instead of or in combo with cups. And, they are not that expensive either.
When I was looking up all of the vanilla cake recipes on UA-cam, I know that Victoria also makes the best vanilla cake recipe on keto low carb diet, I noticed that she gets the most views on her yellow vanilla cake video as well as most of her other keto recipes. I give her a lot of credit. I believe that Victoria is going to be the game changer for making keto low carb recipes with her flour.
I just made these biscuits because of your video & your reaction to your first bite. I love how honest you are with your reviews. That's why I keep coming back. I trust your pallet and your integrity. Thank you for putting in this work. I was hesitate to purchase yet ANOTHER low carb ingredient, but I'm glad I did. And Victoria, your flour is amaze-balls! If my husband keeps coming back for more, it's the real deal!

May I suggest a little book called Dirty Genes by Ben Lynch. Good stuff in there that also heals.
My 4-year-old granddaughter was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last month. Just ordered the bamboo fiber as I'm sure I'm going to end up using a lot of it and she's worth the extra money.
May I ask which Bamboo Fiber you ordered?
@@sbg3189 ok thank you! Good to know about buying more for the same shipping costs! Hope this works well for your granddaughter!
I figure it’s cheaper than all the co-pays.
One day they will find a cure
I wish you all the best of luck!
I just love when you "LOVE" something. The expression on your face just makes me smile. Thanks for trying it, I"m gonna give it a try. I kept yelling at my tv, "Wes, slap some butter on that biscuit."
Hah, I was saying the same thing! Get some butter on that biscuit, son!😆
I made Betty Crocker recipe for blueberry muffins with this and they were light and fluffy and delicious. I have used it for even sopapillas and biscuits. Amazing!
I am definitely going to have to try that. I used to make those blueberry muffins all the time.
@janefarr9214 What did you use for your sweetening agent in the recipe?
@@leeannn6299 I used Besti because it’s half allulose and half monk fruit. Allulose aids in browning, but makes baked goods too moist on its own. So I like the blends
Thank you! @@janefarr9214
Did you weigh it for that recipe or just measure it ?
Thank you for finally testing Victoria's keto flour recipe! I'm so happy that you enjoyed it so much!!
Wes, I have not had a biscuit in years, and you just made my southern heart so happy! Thank you Wes❤
Right? Biscuits are a must in the South! I can't wait to try this ❤
Me too! Almond “flour” or coconut “flour” just don’t cut it for biscuits! 🤢
Did you use allulose or another sugarfree blend? I didn't see the product Wes used in the description.
Can you share the biscuit recipe…I cannot access it
I just made these biscuits and they are delicious!
Thank you for doing what you do.😍
Don't be afraid, I tried it today on a scone recipe that called for APF and they turned out amazing........don't wait!
Same!! I have everything. I will be baking tomorrow. 😂❤😋
Same!!
😂😂😂 Right! His facial expressions are everything! ❤❤❤
“I know my way around a biscuit “ has to go on your merch . Perfect t shirt quote
I admire Victoria's research and dedication. I made these Dream Biscuits yesterday with her 2.0 flour. Wow, just wow. Today I had one leftover with sausage and cheese. Didn't spike my blood sure at ALL. 🙌
Kinda amazing, aren’t they?!
Love this flour and make these biscuits often since reading the comment as well. Best keto biscuits I have ever had.
God Bless!
can you share that recipe with me, pretty please??
💜🥰
Victoria deserves the Golden Keto Award...somebody make one😊
I give her all thumbs down. Nothing I made from her flour recipes was at all edible. Followed weights and instructions to a tee and it was all terrible.
@@donnaannetruth9722 was this with the new blend or all the former blends?
@@donnaannetruth9722 That's odd I just literally made her flour and bread yesterday and it came out AMAZING!!!! I was blown away. I read her comments and was planning on making the dream biscuits also. Sorry you had a bad experience. Sometimes altitude makes a difference. If it's too wet use less water. Wishing you BETTER RESULTS.
@@donnaannetruth9722 oh? This is the first time, someone has said that it was a bad recipe (that, I've seen), may I ask how long you have been off carbs?

I made up a double batch of Victoria's newest bamboo fiber flour, and then I decided to try out a carnivore lifestyle. What was I thinking! I lasted 3 days and am now back on keto where I belong - I need these biscuits in my life. Thank you Wes and Victoria for everything you do to help the keto community!
The warm cream is necessary to get the Xantan gum to be activated and act like gluten. Cold cream would not activate the binding properties of Xantan gum.
I did not know that about xanthan gum! TY! Couldn't we just replace the xanthan gum for gluten then? 🤔
@@kimjay2697 I think the creator of this flour, Victoria, is gluten intolerant. I don’t know what ratio of gluten can be added with good results.
I love watching your videos. You always make me smile.
Victoria is amazing and I love her dedication to perfecting her recipes.
Will definitely will try this!
thank you for that reminder.....he has this super high layered biscuit that I drool watching.
Thank you for posting this! It's a simple thing, but I was thinking about this AFTER I put them in the oven! LOL@@MaxsMom-bv6hf
I have been off keto for 6 mths and haven't watched any of your videos. And i have to say. YOU LOOK GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤
Not every creator is like that. He k Cook with Mel
I have been looking for this .someone showing how to make the biscuits thanks
Loved your video! I found the ingredients and made these. I decided to make them dairy free by using canned unsweetened coconut cream. Still great! My only problem is the inside was kind of doughy and damp, maybe I need to cook longer? I'm no expert on biscuits...I come from the Boston area.
@@raccoonsewsperhaps the problem is that you changed the recipe? Coconut cream might have made a difference in the structure. It’s so difficult trying to convert recipes to dairy free, but I love coconut milk and coconut cream (and I’m not dairy free, not sure if you are).
I have been making these for nearly a year and they are phenomenal!!!!! Better than regular biscuits.
Her bisquick knock off using this flour makes the best pancakes, too. What a fun video!
So glad you tried this! Victoria is amazing! I hope her channel takes off, she deserves it after all her hard work!

Thank you! This is the comment I was looking for :)
I can’t tell you how excited I am to try this! Thank you Victoria and Wes ☺️

Fwiw, probably make the flour mixture in a zip bag. Then you can shake the mess out of it, for the best baked outcome(s), as per Victoria’s mixing instructions.

Great to hear!
I'm so glad you decided to watch. :-)
I tried the biscuits and I was skeptical . However, these were so tasty and delicious! Thank you for the video
I'm so happy you've given Victoria's flour a shot! I've been singing her praises since she created her 1st flour. Thanks for this because she deserves recognition. I thoroughly enjoy your videos... especially when you taste the results. You're a HOOT!😁
I made these yesterday.......AWESOME !!!!! thank you so much
My pleasure 😊
This flour is fabulous, nothing comes close. Made the biscuits and the blackberry jam. Happy! Happy! Happy!
So good! Thanks for popping in to let us know what you thought!
Ive used the standard 2.0, buttermilk, baking powder, and a little allulose for biscuits and put the dough in a small casserole dish for mock cornbread and both are delicious❤
Wow!! Just Wow! I made these Today and they’re Amazing!!

Wonderful! Enjoy that biscuit. No need to thank me, it’s all Victoria! :-)
This immediately made me wonder if I could use this flour to make the old chicken 'n dumplings from our old family cookbooks.
I felt the same way when I tasted the biscuits!! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🙂
So happy you brought this recipe up!!!! Going to try it!
Can’t wait to make these. I n Australia these are called scones, they look just like them. I have bought all her ingredients and you are amazing as well. Thanks for your honesty.
What did you use as your sweetener as we can't get Allulose here in Australia as I understand it. Monkfruit?
@@starlooker6612 I buy allulose from Amazon, also the liquid allulose , it came to my place in Perth in a week. Not bad.

Worth every penny. Don't forget the egg white protein if you don't have it.
I do follow Victoria, her recipes are awesome. Made these biscuits Sunday night and they're unbelievable!!
She does have another flour recipe too with more accessible ingredients. It is delicious too!
I use her flour blend to make pizza crust!!! It's fantastic!!!! She also has mug cake recipes using her flour blend. The texture is so good!!
I read the same comment and had this on my list of recipes to try. Made this today with the oat fiber. Exceptionally good! Now I need to know how to store and reheat them.
ditto - I don't find anyone saying they've frozen them or anything yet so I'll likely cut the recipe down
Thank you Wes!!
She is amazing!!! I just made the bread today and can't even begin to express my gratitude to her...she is truly amazing!!!
Here's an idea for using this biscuit recipe. Make strawberry/blueberry drop cobbler. Add buttermilk powder for extra flavoring!
😀
I love Victoria's flours so much! I haven't been able to try the latest version yet, but oh my word, her older versions are fantastic!
Thank you Wes!! Love Victoria’s channel and so many of her recipes! ❤
"Victoria! Honey! You are my new best friend. Call me every 5 minutes." slayed me!
the last time that I remember you making biscuits, was a battle with Christi's and Matt/Magha.
Thanks, Wes. These look delish! Looking forward to more tests. I think the official past tense of tare is zeroed. 😊
That’s the word I was looking for and could not find. LOL!
@@HighfalutinLowCarb 🤣
Wow I am exciting to try this with Chicken and dumplings!
OMG I asked almost the same question! You would think just a coating would be easy but I've found every attempt lacking. This gives me hope!
@@raven-keeperThank you for sharing this!

Oh wow! You just rocked my world. I can wait to try these.
You’re gonna be shocked, I think! I sure was!! :-)
Yes, she killed it with that one! That woman should have millions of followers. I'm making her ooey gooey cinnamon rolls soon!
Wes, I'm all in with the new 2.0 flour! Do you think you could use it to bread meat and fish for frying? That video would be of great interest to me!
It works great for that. I have fried chicken to perfection.
I have to try this recipe. I saw Cooking with Mel do a version using chicken flour instead of almond flour.
yes, and she made a Bisquick mix with it. Super low carb with the chicken flour.... yet to make that.
I’ve been a subscriber of Victoria’s Kitchen for a while. Thank you for doing this recipe! I’ve been hesitant to try this due to the cost of the bamboo fiber! Thanks to you, I took the plunge and purchased a bag from Amazon. Can’t wait to start baking again! This truly is a game changer! I urge everyone to check out her channel…especially her personal story.
Someone needs to pay this woman and mass produce that recipe
Loved watching you make this recipe for the biscuits. You substituted some for sugar. Could share with me what that was?
It’s a blend of erythritol and allulose. It’s called Splenda Magic Baker, but any blend of erythritol/monkfruit/allulose should work. (Allulose is not available in EU/UK yet.)

This is actually good. It's the first decent biscuit I've had in at least 15 years. Also, husband-approved for biscuits and gravy. 😋
i just made a triple batch of Victoria's flour. I'm going to start tomorrow with the stuffed crust pizza, and cinnamon rolls. Thanks for turning me on to her channel. You led me to my favorite fathead bagels, and ice cream. Love your channel. Thanks so much for all you do to help us all out. Can't express fully how much I appreciate you!
I wonder if it would work for puff pastry being this close to the real thing. That in my opinion is the real final boss of keto cooking.
I was wondering if croissants could be made? Wouldn’t THAT be HEAVEN! 🥐😇❤️
I've been dying for Keto biscuits and my own turkey sausage Groovy Gravy with touches of smoked paprika and garlic! Yum! and Thank-you!
