There's this homeless camp right in front of the non-profit homeless shelter, and it's just absurd! I mean, seriously, every single time we step out of our apartment, we're greeted with the sight of drug users openly indulging in their vices, right there in front of us! Can you believe that? I don't understand how this is even legal. It's just outrageous!

One time the homeless climbed inside and put up a tent. We woke up in the morning and was shocked watching these strangers doing drugs right outside our back door. Sometimes at night we saw shadow outside our door and they tried to open the door too… It was disturbing. Never rent on the ground floor in SF, especially near homeless area.

san francisco struggles because the greedy real estate industry wants to make high profits. theres 60,000 empty units. they just dont want to let people who have drug issues, mental health issues or not enough money to give them. the national real estate industry just lost a case in court where they are fined billion for manipulating the market. and the real estate associations in sf and calif are the same. the city doesnt want to admit that they just dont want to give out "free" housing. the mayor is criminally negligent, not the courts.

San Francisco has the second highest population density of any city in America. So there is no room in San Francisco to accommodate tens of thousands of transients that are too mentally ill or drug addicted to be employable. The State needs to build simple and cheap housing units for transients outside of the city.
Any housing used to accommodate transients in the city should only be used to provide rent controlled housing-- for working people.

There will never be enough money or shelter when you incentivize people to be homeless. Do you know what people did in the past when they couldn’t afford to live here? MOVE Somewhere else!!!!!

Simple: Require every SF Resident by law to house 1 entity who identifies as a person experiencing homelessness and/or unhoused, whichever term the media prefers these days. Next year, bump it up to 2. We can solve homelessness in 2 years, people!
