    I would recommend for 9-5ers, to source stock or work on drafts for the items you know are waiting to be listed when you get home during your lunch break. Preparing drafts gave me back so much more time in the evening to be with the fam!

    Cause of you mate, ive ventured into the ebay buy and sell, ive had 11 sales in the last month and made 186$ after shipping and eBay fees w/ 1 5 star review. (I ship with a little card that i print out asking for reviews). The costs of the new aus post didnt make much of a change but very happy to be making something rather than nothing. I have gone through hours upon hours of your videos and ultimately thought well why not. Ive created a ABN, separate business account and invested over 500$ with shipping costs (starting out with shoes and DVDS) I now have over 600 + dvds/seasons and 7 pairs of shoes.. 1 pair of shoes sold last week. I'm feeling very confident and updating my excel sheet watching this video.
    funny thing is, i explained to family and friends of my new ventures and they giggled. like you said in previous videos not the "per hour" matters" its the end game.
    I work full time and have my own little family but definitely determined to make this a very lucrative side hussle.

      Incredible work Anton! 100% right to focus on it from a business perspective not an hourly rate perspective, growth and learnings take time so don’t feel pressured to know it all today. Chip away and make sure you’re enjoying the process. My biggest piece of advice is to use that eBay filter sold vs active to check sell through and eprofit to work out your profit on any item you’re looking to list up, saying no to listing poor items will help speed up your sales and ultimately put more profit in your pocket! Good luck!

      @@TheAussieFlipper yeap - got both and also got a business account with Aus Post / one question I have and wondering from your experience is do you claim the kms (tax back) for travel purposes to and from work related activities.
      At the moment I have been using Drivers Note app and will be claiming the subscription cost.

    I am new to eBay

    That game isn’t damaged or faulty I don’t want to accept the return

    • @SirLordOG
      @SirLordOG 2 місяці тому +1

      I’d probably accept the return m8.
      Just don’t let anyone convince you to provide partial refunds. Full refund or no refund. Some just want to get a bit of $ back.
      When I tell them to return the item and I’ll provide full refund they usually don’t follow through, meaning most just wanted a quick win.

    • @TheAussieFlipper
      @TheAussieFlipper  2 місяці тому +1

      The returns don’t pop up too often so in this instance I usually abide by my return policy and allow the return to take place. Don’t refund the buyer until you receive the item back. Just an annoying part of the game but you have to offer it

    I do not agree with paying eBay an extra 3% for promotion. Providing you are on eBay everyday and selling, you will stay towards the top of the listings and it ends up more money in your pocket !

    • @jonchan.meaningful
      @jonchan.meaningful 2 місяці тому

      It depends on the category you sell in. More specifically, the searches you compete in. eBay is a search engine after all.
      If you look at your traffic performance, you can see how promoted listings increases impressions, click through and conversion - this is split into organic and promoted.
      No business would ever say no to paying a percentage of sales to not get more sales if those sales are still profitable. More money is better than less money after all.
      Plus you are not incurring more effort to make that additional sale, simply paying more to promote it.

    Question: just opened a new business account to start reselling pre owned clothes an other items, I have a personal account with good feedback an ratings but only a 10 item limit, my business account has no feedback or sales yet an I have around 30 or 40 items listed so far but no sales. How long does it take or how many items do I need to list before I start to see some traction an sales come through. Will having a new account an no feedback hinder my sales or maybe keep eBay from showing my listings before others? I get allot of traffic an views on my personal account but hardly any on my business account

    If you are unaware of shipping costs, ebay fees on the item plus shipping + promoted listing fees
    You're going to be crying later on and whingeing about it.
    Knowing what you want to make after the fees are taken out and cost of packaging and goods.
    ie the item is $1 and sells for $19.95.
    But then the post is $9, the fees are $3 leaving $7 profit if it sells
