No but my router died! Fortunately I have a Testra hot spot thingie we use when travelling. Magazines that size fit in a A3 envelope, untracked you get a little back. so not a total loss.
what I like about you is that you are always looking for ways to improve your business, yes to do so is to your advantage, if you want to do better you have to be willing to change and adapt. you are honest with yourself, that helps. and you do occasionally reap the benefits. hard slog sometimes but it pays. good on you.
great content Matt. My key takeouts? Poor Courtney looks like she needs a good sleep! Always yawning & always sounds like she's got a cold. She is a great addition to the team though! The hair Cut? Hmmmm......
Yes! What a fun day yesterday was! I was out from 9am-4pm thrifting, encountered about 6 shops with no eftpos… not good 😅 Thats why I always have cash on me!
Yeah, I had the same thing here. We had some issues running my concreting business, but we got through it. But it's just another point that going digital for everything is convenient but also problematic. Which is why both options should always be available.
A great lesson in the value of comping when able. I've done similar on a couple of wii games. Like you keeping it real Matt. Haircut & mo reminds me of the wicked 70s & my very early teen years at the end of thst decade. 😂
Great video! Yes where would we be without phones, internet etc. If hubby comes home and the house is clean and I've done baking he will say 'was the internet out today' ? LOL
Hi Matt. Please don't film yourself whilst driving it's really unsafe and also illegal. I would hate to see you get in an accident and hurt yourself or someone else. . love the content. Keep it up
Yes I am Optus, going in blind. Let’s get 1000 likes lol. Love the new style of video. One magazine I fit in a large letter tracked, just fits. Great job guys.
Great video as always. Nice to see how to cope without the internet. How is Courtney’s eBay going, and will she be doing a UA-cam channel. Be nice to see what struggles and successes she has day to day or week to week.
Still no beach walk with Winnie 😢 My wife shared her phones internet to our pc and my phone via a hotspot. Magazines would have fit inside a small padded mailer
Hey Matt. Ps vita needs a special charging brick. Definitely google it otherwise if someone buys it and try's it on a generic charger it might not charge for them. Also you can find out the size easy it has expandable memory. Generally it's a 4gb cad the big micro sd cards like 64gb are worth alot on there own
The more I’m watching these videos the more I get confused on how your making enough especially to have an employee also. Working off a $300 sales day I wouldn’t be able to have an employee. Maybe there is higher returns from UA-cam videos on an eBay business rather then eBay itself??
they usually have "as is" on items in charity shops as the items are mostly used and second hand, so it just covers the charity shop against any legal liabilities, the onus in a way is on the purchaser to check on its condition as there maybe some faults which is expected due to items being secondhand. I know Vinnies have a As Is on all their clothing label tags even though the majority of items probably don't have any issues at all with condition.
I also got stung with 'Opt-out' (only on 'phone though, not on home internet). I think you did well there, using the knowledge you have built up to have an educated guess on what you think something's worth, and the margins. It's a good test. I used to go with the sausage and egg (McD's breakfast), but found that it was too greasy (you know the instant regret you get when there's that 'McD's 'grease aftertaste'... not good. I usually go bacon and egg from there now (much prefer to make it myself though). Great to see Jamie back listing... and selling well! We don't know what he's paying for the items, but at an average price of $59.50ish per item, that's a great average selling price for him (and for anyone!). If the sell-through rate is high, and his effort to acquire and send off the items are low, then he can definitely reduce his margins, to get them out the door. He knows his stuff, and is still so young! Another great video, really appreciate these longer videos, Matt - and how quick you're putting them out! Top stuff! 👍 Oh, and love that print in the lounge of that exotic beach. A great motivator!
Also couldnt you send the Wheels magazines as a large letter? I would put it in a big envelope from cheap as chips, they sell a really big padded envelope there. Or else I'd brown paper it with cardboard on either side
My fave for breakfast is the Egg McMuffin, which is egg, cheese and Canadian ham. Plus, it's only about 300 calories, which I believe beats the sausage biscuit which is higher in fat and calories. FYI.
@@TheAussieFlipper when it’s on your hat yes! Not when u moving it around in front of u! I thought it may have been something to do with letting viewers get the feeling of listening to a weather reporter lol
You chose wisely at McD’s. If you want to elevate your meal there next time, go for the sausage-egg McGriddle. I’m not sure if it’s served in Australia but it’s here stateside. It’s a guilty all in one breakfast pleasure.
Hey Matt, with the postage the lady at the P.O explained to me yesterday that even in a large bag it can still go at the medium or even small price, depends on weight.
Were you affected by the Optus outtage?
got lucky just changed to vodafone about a month ago!
No but my router died! Fortunately I have a Testra hot spot thingie we use when travelling. Magazines that size fit in a A3 envelope, untracked you get a little back. so not a total loss.
We are on Amaysim on our phones who use Optus. 😥
BUT we use iiNet NBN internet at home so all good - sort of.
I’m with Telstra but everyone else was optus so everyone was hot spotting off my phone.
Another reason we can't go cashless.
Yes!
Completely agree, Lea!!! 👍
Exactly
I hope all those places that don't accept cash were optus customers

Absolutely
Come on guys 800 more likes let’s get him 👩🦲 bald 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I grew up in the 80s, where we didn't have internet or even mobile phones, so it was a nostalgia day.
We didn't have eBay stores to run in the '80s either 🤣

Couldnt agree more!
I'm eith Telstra so thankfully it was business as usual for me 👍
And i had a double sausage & egg McMuffin yesterday with bacon added🤤
Great video Matt. More " What Sold " content the better I say !!
Good to know!
I personally am a bacon egg and cheese Mcmuffin kinda guy
A great lesson in the value of comping when able. I've done similar on a couple of wii games. Like you keeping it real Matt. Haircut & mo reminds me of the wicked 70s & my very early teen years at the end of thst decade. 😂

You should be able to get those Street Machine magazines into a $6.95 tracked envelope? Still not ideal, and definitely best to sell as a bundle.
I never thought I could catch a yawn from a video but thanks Courtney lol
Love to see some more of the sales, thanks.
Now that you gave us the series on Courtney setting up her store we need updates as to how she is doing ❤
Will do!
That coupled with the interest rate rise would explain my poor sales day.
true thatttt
New format is brilliant big fella, very natural and fun! Great work!! ❤️
preciate you ma man! flea feed sunday
The longer videos are sick!
Loving the content, would definitely like to see more sales, not boring at all. Very informative!

Completely agree with you on all points there... and I was just thinking the same, wondering how Courtney's store was going.
Matt bought out her store..
29:46 😃👍
always good to have a draft bank happening because of these types of issues
Agreed!
More sales please

It’s a combination of the 2 that affords it. I’m not rolling in money though that’s for sure 😅😂
That's a great deal on the Magnum boots I recently sold Magnum Stealth Force 6 boots for $60. I wish shoes at the thrift were as cheap in my area!
Unreal stuff mate
Haha yeah I'm with Optus as well. Doing uber eats delivery was impossible yesterday 😅
oh no!!

Definitely lifeline shops have it on every item
For the magazines can't you post them in a padded mailer and just affix some stamps?
Yum sausage n egg breaky is the best
Question please….what app do you use to do your EBay comps?
The EBay app :)
Cloe app is quicker - set it to your country and currency and scan away

That's my local beach John, Burleigh Heads it's called! My favourite part of home :) Preciate your thoughts as always mate!
With those magazines, use an C4 / A4 envelope maybe?
The best McDonald's breakfast is the steak, egg & cheese bagel... trust me!
I have found as a reseller vinnes is really over priced now it crazy. Every time I go into them still got the same stock of dvds
Hope you’ll still include some of the shorter form videos as well as this new style, mate!

went the large letter in the end. easy

Will update soon

No way
Sucks to be an optus customer thats for sure! Didn't affect me, i'm with Vodafone.

Let me know if you want it! Charger, case, 2 games. Listed for $350. Can shoot it to you for $250.
Ship the magazine as a large letter.

Question. If the buyer pays shipping, why are you concerned about it?
I’m not
Bacon and egg mcmuffin are the best

Thats why i separate it, tv and internet one provider, my phone another provider
For indIvidual magazines, I just send in an A4 size envelope with just stamps
I usually also just put in a thin piece of cardboard to stop them from bending
Do u ever come up to the north side of brissie?
not too often! usually a sunshine coast trip if i do.. maybe 2-3 times per year.
May I ask what’s with all the utubers going to hand held mics atm??
It’s better audio

Gday the picker
Yeah mad feeds
Buy multiple items on sale and resell, heaps easier
1000 likes coming up :)
Get your own pricing gun and make your own prices
I knew straight away the Wii games were a bad buy, I'd pay $1 a piece tops.
Don’t buy size 6
Optus was hacked, but companies will never admit to that as it shows their lack of security.
they know something surely!
I’m doing 500
Use a B4 registered post envelope under 500g
Like like like x 1000 lol

No, we don't have that in Oz!
You need to stop running around for tomato saucing

Matt, just to correct you, its pronounced "stussy", not "stussy".
Helpful 🤣
You work way to hard
Library probably the best option.
Courtney looks bored and keeps yawning 🥱
Why is Courtney yawning so much. 🥱🤔
