    FYI, I ran aground in gravel, limp back and had to plier some out and I am still hit high speed. Not proud of run aground but glad it is still running smooth. As always, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

    Nice video! You’re making me want to start uploading videos of all my STX-160 endeavors. I don’t care that I live in north Alabama I’ll work on building up a resistance to the cold so I can be on the water all year round

      Dude definitely start! The more Kawi content online, the better!

      @@JDsWaterWorlddid you have to take an angle grinder to your ride plate when installing the KSPEED intake grate on your Ultra 310? Because I’m having to do that for their intake grate for the STX. Luckily I’m paring it with the KSPEED STX ride plate so I’ll be cutting into that one and not my stock plate

    • @JDsWaterWorld
      @JDsWaterWorld  4 місяці тому

      No, for the 310 there is no grinding needed for any of their parts..that’s a bit concerning you have to grind down the plate to make it fit…

      @@JDsWaterWorld yeah I thought that too but it’s what I have to do. But like I said I got the KSPEED plate so I won’t be grinding stock plate

    Would the hours when using in fresh water be differant for use? By the way, ordered the wedge kit from Kawa Performance, thanks.

      Yes, in fresh water the pump housing should last exponentially longer- but it depends heavily on whether or not you are sucking up rocks and sand etc. It’s all about the gap between the impeller blades and housing- I would inspect that once a year as a recreational rider and obviously if you are trying for max max max performance every 25 hours …

    Time to go with that Solas concord 14/18 impeller? 😉😜🤡

      I am debating that now..building a new spare pump to I have considered doing that impeller- but without Riva Stage 3 there is not that much upside to doing that impeller alone

      @@JDsWaterWorld I would say that's a half true statement. You already have a tune.. so the impeller would put you at a stage 1+ (which is what i have minus all the support mods). Those are the only real performance mods until you upgrade the SC pulley for more boost. Because I know how you like to ride, I'm uncertain if the ride plate would be a good mod for you.

      Yeah buts it’s a Kspeed tune, not Riva, so it’s tuned for the stock pitch. I’ve been told the Solas impeller will cavitate and my target rpm will be off.. also that Solis impeller they sell is actually for the ultra 300, not the 310, and it’s missing the snout that’s on the 310 impeller- that means salt water gets into the driveshaft splines

      @@JDsWaterWorld usually the recommended impellers between different tunes is the same.. I'm sure Kspeed has a map that's intended for it. The thing I did find weird is that Riva has the impeller 14/18 listed for the stage 3 but they also have a /21.
