- [4K] Earthquake the Ride is a unique attraction located in a popular tourist area in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Admission is $11 with tax. What do you guys think of this ride? Is it a knockoff of Earthquake on the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood?
Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are a small towns in Tennessee with plenty of attractions to see and do. It's located right next to the entrance to Great Smokey Mountain National Park. You can also find Dollywood theme park there as well.
Filmed August 2019.
I'm glad you ride these rides so we don't have to.
😂😂😂😂😂
WalkingTacos I’ve been on it it’s thrilling
Agreed... even though I’m sitting outside of the building rn
I rode it today :(
😂😂😂😂fr
lmao i have no idea what's even going on
At least the gorilla's crate says congo trading so you know where the people are supposed to have gotten it from
This ride created more questions than it answered.....I'm so confused
McKenzie McMillan 😂😂😂exactly
I agree
Same
it seems like they just got every special effect prop from a store and put it in a tiny room with a 12 ft long track
Hey, at least its not another screen ride
My favourite part was the gorilla on ice skates at 2:56.
I hope you got your $11 back.
Michael Warbux the seats move and it is waaaay more realistic on it
Exy Bassham no dur
Don't forget the tax
Its more than that try 25
I don’t care what others might say I love this! Yes it’s cheesy but it’s one of the few old attractions left in Gatlinburg I remember from my younger years and I for one are happy it’s still here! I’ll always ride it as long as it’s still there.
Imagine a real earthquake happens on this ride and everything breaks down. You’ll never notice a thing...
Bre Ad 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for assuring me I dont need to ride this!!❤😂
It's funny because Gatlinburg(where this ride is) is on a fault line
@@acecxke 1:52 Holy Crud!!! What kind of a Snake is that in Earthquake the Ride?!!!
@@erinloveswendy a very poorly-made one 😂😂
Cheesy and campy! So bad it's actually kinda good.
Exactly ! Reminds me of those japanese dark rides
I thought it was kind of original how the seats move and how it's a straight track design
This thing was god awful and I loved it. My dad didn't stop laughing.
"This ride is rated 4 stars." By what? Crack Smoker Magazine?
Sure it was rated four stars but how high was the scale? 4/5 is great. 4/10 is not so good. 4/100 seems a bit closer to the mark.
It's the south, so it's Meth Smoker Magazine.
This comment had me 🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️🤦♀️🥴🥴☠️
The animatronics definitely look nice but that seems very boring for an attraction
Literally all you do is go back and forth the entire ride. I'm totally confused
It's definitely got all the bells and whistles. It's pretty neat.
WTF was that?
Exploring Abandoned
...my thought exactly.
"I want to go on something more thrilling than Earthquake the Ride"
Ikr just go to california, then you'll get the full experience.
Literally Every RCT3 guest
Love the roller-coaster tycoon reference 😂❤
This was a confusing ride
Definetely, I'm glad I didn't go on that. Rats, gorillas, alligators, those weren't part of the deal.
"It's rated 4 stars." Well, that was a bit unnecessary.
I wonder who gave it the 4 stars and what was it that they were smoking.
This looks like someone’s unfinished Fanfiction story.
Dang. Was expecting some sick rollercoaster, not this.
princess poprock ikr so crappy
I love this! Everytime I go to Gatlinburg I experience this crazy attraction.
Well, here in Chile you can do this ride for free!
Gatlinburg is my favorite place ever to visit! We live about 1.5 hours away and try to go every year for the Christmas lights. I always wanted to go on this and now I dont have to. Thank you for visiting and sharing!
Yeah, it's a knockoff but looks fun.
What's it a knockoff of?
@@crazyowlgirlcncowner the uni studios hollywood one on the tram tour
You Tubed I was thinking it looked familiar. That earthquake ride was pretty cool as a kid. If it was still there, I wonder if I would think it was cheesy too
So...basically an off brand version of Universal Studios for people that can’t make it to either Florida or California.
Just hollywood now
Just hollywood now
A cheap knock off version.
The one in Florida got replaced with Fast and Furious: Supercharged, which is ever worse than THIS ride.
@@NebularImpact95 Ain't that the truth. After years of never going on it, I finally road it last winter. I still can't believe they invested millions into that garbage...
this is something spectacular, in a bad-good way
I would have more fun spinning around in a chair then riding this.
What uhh... what exactly is the story behind the ride?
USH has nothing to be worried about. Thanks for sharing as always
there was an attempt
Thanks, this videos just saved my time and money
My mom freaked out on this ride I couldn't stop laughing
the way this ride had me in tears and hyperventilating as a kid💀
Literally same. I couldn’t open my eyes to save my life the entire time and when I got off I was crying hysterically and hyperventilating. My parents couldn’t get me to calm down
I just got on this yesterday and the lady who started the ride just sat their watching me suffer
👏👏👏
日本からしたら「なんだこのアトラクションは」って感じだよな
Any Adam the woo fans here? 🙌
Me!
Here
Me!
Well isn’t that just... something 😣
Great vid as always though! Love your work 👌🏼
These are amazing keep up the good work!
Easily the worst “attraction” in all of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. I’m not sure how it’s stayed open for so many years.
So sorry you wasted your time and money on this one.
I'll just go to Universal Studios Hollywood and ride the tram they have a better earthquake simulator lol 😂😂😂
I watched this before bed and had nightmares...i dreamt I paid $11 to ride this.
You know the attraction is bad when you have to put mannequins in the cue line. They did that at the really bad Jurassic Boat Ride too
I like how everything happens and nothing happens at the same time.
Thank you for going on that, so that I will never be tempted to, should I find myself in Tennessee. Having been through the 1971 Sylmar Quake, the 1994 Northridge Quake, the 2019 Ridgecrest Quake, I could only sit at my computer, watching this, with an expression of absolute disbelief. Whoever designed that ride has obviously never been in a seismic event, and likely only got their ideas from it from watching Volcano and 10-point-O (a really crappy direct-to-video San Andreas knockoff). I think my IQ dropped a few points just from watching that parade of stupidity.
I went through all those as well and I missed the parts of the earthquake where the alligator and giant snake thingy come up out of the sewer.
I want to ride this. So much. I've been to Gatlinburg so many times, and I've never gotten the chance to ride it, although played mini golf right next door.
What if an earthquake happens while on the ride?
That would probably make this ride alot more entertaining.
It would be a double negative, you would be completely still
I work in this town and I've never seen it till now.
What do you do there? Have you gone on the ride since you posted this comment?
This and jurrassic jungle boat ride are my favorite dark rides
The thing with these attractions over there is that they’re just affordable family thrills for anyone stopping by on a road trip it’s not crazy thrill rides like the real parks that we love and know it’s honestly the equivalent of going to Orlando not either able to afford the ticket for Disney or you want something to do to kill time while you already visited sort like going somewhere on I drive
I rode this as a kid and I loved it lol. Now I’m like WTF?? 😂😂
What,no near-head-on collision with Mr. Toad?
I rode it this summer and it's so bad that it's good. Ride it purely for laughs.
I’ve never been more confused in my life
Beats watching a cheap disaster movie. Actually, no it doesn't.
I remember I went on this and thought it would be cool like a roller coaster that drops you down or something but it was this lame mess. The snake popping out was really scary but it was disappointing other than that.
This ride is so close to where I grew up. I’m shocked to see it on this channel
The ride system Lowkey kinda confuses me. Who manufactured it?
Ikrrr
@@brookeglasscock1807 never heard of them.
Your life will never be the same after earthquake the ride
This is amazingggggggggg
y’all never do this me and my cousin did it and it’s so dumb. it’s kinda scary to me (only because i have a fear of animatronic animals lol) but it’s honestly a waste of $10.
I went went to gatlinburg when I was five or six and my family passed by this and I genuinely thought the building was collapsing
ah yes the classic ride, "BOO! haunted earthquake!"
Love Gatlinburg we go every year! My dad lives in Pigeon Forge and works for Randy Parton! Dolly's brother.
I went on this during my vacation. It was one of those “so bad it’s good” experiences. Think of the movie sharknado. It’s so terrible that you enjoy it. That was how this was
This makes me proud of Wings Over Washington. It’s head, shoulders, knees and toes(knees and toes) above this in every way.
i looked up the reviews to the ride as we were walking around and came to this video to see what it was about. kinda glad i didn’t get on it, but also want to go get on it, but i’m also broke
I feel like the ride was more about the gorilla, which I want to name micheal Davidson.
You paid for that?
Bro we went on this and it was INSANE
me and my family rode this when we went in July. paid almost $50 for all of us to ride. i was left at a gas station for 20 minutes because my family left without me and this "ride" was still the worst part of the entire trip.
It sure was...noisy. 😄😄 Great vid as usual!
Clearly a knock off of earthquake the big one at universal
*I went on it a few weeks ago and came out crying*
*I also didn't understand the freaking crocodile or alligator in the tube...?*
*Edit: I hated the moving seats, dark light, and the sounds, the water, and the gorilla..I closed my eyes for most of the ride then I just was shaking after the ride...my brain makes things so close to reality feel real*
The rats made me freak because I hate rats
@@kadenhooker6451 frrr
THERE’S RATS ON THE WALL!! HOW?!!?? 😂😂😂 that freaking got me.
Wow...that was bad. I'll cross that off my list for next month. Thanks! 😚
It’s like a bad acid trip.
Everytime ive been to gatlinburg ive wondered what this was, good to know ive never spent money on it 😂😂
That was a little jumpscare at the end
Hey, honestly does anybody wonder how he does not scream??
I rode this ride like 15 minutes ago and not gonna lie I almost wet myself🤣 it’s fun though but quick. I felt like this was for like... 30 seconds.
If only this were here in Florida today. Goes to show don’t take any ride for granted, like the only standing vintage ride in Florida universal, E.T.
I hear people give this a lot of crap, the “ So bad it’s good”. Similar to Jurassic jungle boat ride.
I prefer the ride that used to be at Universal Studios Florida. I wish the people who currently runs Universal Studios Florida had still kept it around nowadays.
*And they’re grooving!*
Back in 98 when i was 11 years old we got on this and they had like a wooden slide door on a track they would close when you got on. I sat by my dad right next to the entrance and the lady closed the door it fell out of the tracks and propped up on my head. I just sat there like woah this is realistic then they came and picked it up. Lol
One time I went to Pigeon Forge with my family and we rode this. I was scared of getting on and kept my eyes closed throughout the entire ride. Looking at this video, I've realized "Why the hell was I scared of this crap?".
I was just about to comment this, I was a kid when I went on this ride and I think the combination of loud noises and all the flashing lights is what scares me, but now watching this as a horror fan, I am ashamed 😔
Y'all are hating cause they told you to hate, I'd like to ride this thing a lot
How is this not a film yet?
we rode this not expecting this me and my brother in front seat and its intense
Damn I ordered Universal from Wish
Honesty this should have done more then just go back and forth but I love rides based on natural disasters
Most bizzare ride ever.
I mean lowkey this Is scary😂
Cool you did video on that. I cant remember If I had rode that before been while.
英検準二級も持ってないが
このコメント欄の空気、なんとなくわかるぞ、、、
自分もちょっとこの乗り物は解せぬ
Was that the narrator saying station control station control we have a train on our track and its coming at us
This ride almost made me stool my pants as a youth.
It's good to know this ride is just as cheesy as when I rode it as a kid 20+ years ago...
From the people who brought you Jurassic Boat Ride......
I came here it was amazing!
