This is what I imagine Heaven’s 9 choirs of Angels sound like, perpetually.
Whenever I think of my dysfunctional country, The United States and my home State of CT because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I stop thinking about the madness and start listening to this beautiful church hymn. I remember what Our Blessed Mother Mary said to the 3 shepherd children of Fatima Portugal. And she said,
"Say the Holy Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world." And I'm hoping and praying fervently that there'll be a vaccine and a cure in the future.
Whenever my older brother starts making me feel ashamed and I feel like crying 😭, this beautiful church hymn helps me overcome my fears and failures. And it encourages me to do better.
Don’t let what other think cause you to be ashamed. You are a precious, beloved child of the Almighty. You are beautiful just the way you are! God loves you when you are struggling and even more when you are trying to do better. He is the only audience you need to play to. God bless you brother!

Having had to endure abuse from family members myself, it has taken years for me to realize that I cannot and will not continue to carry the burden any longer. I must stop putting the blame on myself for another's choice of (poor)behavior, which stems from their limitations as ill mannered human beings. Remember: You are the better person. And once you stop allowing the abuse it's "power", you will be free. God's grace be with you always. You will get through this. Keep your happy self nourished. Enjoy the beauty of the earth. Keep the music in your heart and in your soul. Peace to you. And may your brother soon see the light and change his ways toward you.
Sooths my soul and helps me worship God. I keep coming back to this chant.

I remember Chanting this Every Matins and the Abbey Bells ringing out the entire time. Truly one of my favorite Hymns!

Does anybody know what is the Gregorian Te Deum chanted in the Procession of the Corpus Domini Feast in Firenze, Italy? I searched in my Liber Usualis and there were only two versions, the solemn one and the simple one. And weren’t that one that was chanted in the Corpus Domini’s procession in Firenze.

The notation is traditionally used for Gregorian Chant since approximately year 1000. For this purpose it much more suitable than the modern notation. You can find a description for example hear: www.lphrc.org/Chant/
