- Sorry I have no before or after video just take my word for it! I have that cold the world shut down for for some reason.
Do your own homework. I am 180lbs and will never double up on this. They say rated for 440lbs, I don't know if that's a pair or each individual one. With me on it everything is working as should.

You’ve did great ! Love it
Thanks man, added these to mine and my dads the other day. night and day difference. stock was like riding on a solid frame in comparison. extremely too hard. i couldn't stand the softness of my front end either, so i found some spacers the same dia. as the inner spring at the hardware store, spacing it about 3/4 In directly under the spring. much tighter and more stable through turns at higher speeds now.
Hey, did it fit ok with the standard rear mudguard/fender?
@@DanielSayles yes sir it will.
@@stevensparrow3572 Super, thank you.
Will try the fork spacers...
@@DanielSaylesmine hits the fender, but I haven't really cranked up the preload, or added any air yet. Will probably trim off the part that looks like a cup holder and blend it back in to the fender part of the fender...
Do you have a link to the shock? Maybe I missed it?
I need help with my Navi
“Like riding on a cloud”
awesome video! your backend looks just like i want mine to look!
big question brother -- i'm not the biggest rider, around 150 lbs. the stock shock is a tad rough on some bumps, but nothing too bad.
will i notice that much of a difference being lighter weight?
do you still have the spare/2nd?! i could buy it off you?
I sold the other one. You should notice a difference I would believe.
@@resatchel4389 ok right on, thanks!
I was about to ask you if the new shock interfered with the rear fender and then realized the fender was gone! haha!
That's cool but I hope by now you've gotten rid of that stock exhaust. Vance and Hines makes a great one that's reasonably priced and about 10 pounds lighter (but it is louder 🤷🏻♂️)
Had a yoshi on since like april. I have multiple videos up since this one. BTW the Vance and Hines (even the new rev) all break.
How are you doing with the new shock absorber, would you recommend it?
If you are just riding on paved roads I would recommend it. It is way more comfortable to ride. There are also many different lengths you can buy of this same shock or very similar ones. For instance if you wanted to slightly lower it you could by buying a slightly shorter length shock.
at what speed can you comfortably cruise at, at 180 pounds? (stock) if not as it is
I am around that same weight plus or minus a few pounds. The bike only goes about 50MPH top speed on flat ground. Comfortable riding on it for me at least is no more than 45mph. After that the bike is really working hard.
What pounds do you inflate on the Schrader valve?
Never mind, they should have 75, they had 77 out of box
Whats the purple nut on the crank exhaust? Ive been looking for one
Its a breather for like a dirt bike gas cap.
@@resatchel4389 awesome. Thank you! I've asked bike shop people, and they all didn't know.
Will it fit with the standard airbox🤔
I believe so however I took factory air box off the day the bike came home. Check out others videos. I believer there is a guy who has stock airbox with this same shock.
Added yesterday, a worthwhile mod…better ride
good to hear! enjoy longer more comfy rides and ride safe!
Hey, did it work with the standard rear fender/mudguard?
Will it work with the rear stock fender?
I am sorry to say I cannot confirm that. I took mine off before I had 1 mile on the bike.
Great question tho! Im sure someone will be able to find out. If not maybe slightly modifying it will work?
I only Have the bracket off the oem muffler to go off of anymore but holding the fender up to that hole it looks like it should work.
Do u still have the second shock?
No, I sold it to a local guy.
Can I buy your other shock? I’m in ma
