@@robertcain5930 Well you are right about that, but I still think he will make the more mediocre movies like the incredible hulk, Thor the dark world, and captain marvel, interesting to watch his reactions to.
My favourite thing about existence in general, is that sometimes, these illogical things are more like super improbable, for example, imagine seeing a movie where a soldier gets trapped in a doorway and four dudes with AKs light him up, you would assume almost every round lands and the dudes literal mince meat, except that actually happened in real life and the dude killed all 4 of the AK holding assholes after they lit him up
Fun fact; the first terrorist he knocked out in the prototype suit at the beginning was played by Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine. Great start to film reactions so far, this is gonna be a blast!

No they won't, some give vague details that don't come back for like 4 movies
You gotta look up the order to watch them online because they cashed in on the "but you gotta watch this one for the rest to make sense" bull shit that made their movies less appealing

and THAT is how you get a strong-ass foundation to build a whole cinematic and television universe out of. it really is amazing that as far as the MCU movies have come and how big they've gotten, this is still such a fun and satisfying movie to come back to

I just subscribed after watching from afar for a couple years. I'm excited to watch these movie reactions. Marvel is a great way to get started. And it will grow your channel in the long term. Lots of people are like me and want to see a new person take this journey with these characters. It reminds us of when we watched these as they came out. Such a great experience
You really think he hasn't seen a single marvel movie? He is being disingenuous to his fans and audience and channel. But you're right, his channel will grow, but not for being upfront and honest with his fans. He's selling out and lying to his subscribers. No respect. If he would have made a video saying, even though I've seen every single marvel movie but I didn't have my channel to do reactions at the time so I'm gonna do them now with all of you, that would skyrocket his channel for being completely transparent with his subscribers. People tune in for his personality and would would happily watch a reaction video for a marvel movie he's seen 8 times. Career ending injury like I said.
@@nintendope1 oh so you know him personally in real life? How often do you two hang out? Since you know 100% for sure he’s already seen these movies you must be good friends then. If not then all your doing is making assumptions and treating them as fact. I personally know people that have not seen any Marvel movie or only seen a few of them. Believe it or not there are people out there that just don’t have time to watch a lot of movies. Alex was in law school plus running his music reaction channel. It’s completely plausible that he hasn’t seen any of these movies. I will never understand why people will basically call someone a liar even though they really don’t know for sure.

I'm a very good judge of character and it's just my opinion. That's the problem, I don't know, you don't know. And I feel like he's smart enough to use that to his advantage.

In your first paragraph you put “He’s selling out and lying to his subscribers. No respect”. You stated that as fact when you don’t know. You’re right I don’t know either but I also assume people are telling the truth unless they give me an actual reason not to believe them. In all of Alex’s videos not once has there been a time where someone has proof that he was lying to his subscribers at all. Alex actually comes across as a very down to earth good guy but you have already served as judge and jury and convicted him. There is enough negativity in the world that I just don’t understand why people need to create more on assumptions or opinions.

If this is your first movie reaction, I am pretty sure you will do great at this. Your reaction was awesome ... better than most of the movie reactions I've seen. You are totally going down a new rabbit hole. And what better way to do it that with the MCU. Way to go bud.
"I am Iron Man." those four words spawned an entire universe of superhero movies. If it wasn't for this movie, we never would've had the MCU as we know it today. For that reason alone this is still my favorite MCU movie of all time and RDJ is absolutely perfect for this role.

My husband and I decided last week we're gonna watch all the Marvel movies in chronological order and watched Iron Man for the first time this weekend, great timing and excited to see your reaction!
Edit: if you have Disney, they have it where you can watch in either chronological order or phase 1-4 order 👍
I recommend watching in release order for your first time. Every movie has end credits scenes that don't mesh well when viewed out of order.

Been with this channel since it was primarily rap reactions, was there for his metalhead transition, now we getting into the greatest movie franchise of all time!? Get ready for a fucking journey Alex!
Absolutely loved this reaction. This movie was so fun, I watched it in theaters WAAAYYYY back when it came out, and it still holds up. RDJ was the perfect choice for Iron Man, the story unfolded really well, and the post-credits scene after every movie was always exciting to wait for (Sarah, if you're seeing this, thank you for making sure Alex knew about those, they're pretty key for the MCU movies).
All in all, a fantastic reaction, Alex. You kept the best parts, trimmed the fat nicely, and made it entertaining along the way. Movie mondays are gonna be lit, I just know it!

Love seeing someone see the MCU journey from the start. Haha, but I will say, Iron Man 1 I personally feel still hasn't been beat. Somehow it's equal parts fantastical and grounded and it is one of the few Marvel movies with a real character driven story and a quality character ark. But still, love the MCU and look forward to the journey.
Shang-Chi beat it finally, IMO. That thing is amazing. I do love me some Iron Man though.

One of the biggest innovations the MCU made from the start was throwing away the general concept of "secret identity." It made their universe more grounded right out of the gate.

Am so glad you enjoyed it! It was an amazing experience for me and my boys when these movies came out (as well as XMen). I'm 55, lol and love all these movies. It was so exciting to know what was coming wondering if you were going to react the way I anticipated. I'm so excited for you to continue your house through all the movies. One very important thing to remember is that all of the movies were not directed by the same person the 1st and 2nd iron man movies were directed by Jon favreau and have a certain feel about them but then all of the other movies were directed by different people and they all have a different cadence rhythm and feel to them so don't get into the mistaken belief that they'll all be the same allow yourself to just fall into them and go with the movie. It's something I had to do myself when we hit the second or third movie that wasn't like iron Man that quick paste really cool fast slick Tony Stark type of stuff that I was expecting but I thoroughly enjoy all of the others for what they are and love them just as much. Just realized and I'm sure this is kind of stupid to say because you watch lots of movies I'm sure and don't go into them with preconceived notions but watch them on the face of what they are but just realize that each avenger is different and each avenger movie is different even the ones about the same avenger in a different movie have a different feel to them they do hold up each character in each movie so I'm not saying that the characters hold up to themselves in each movie very well I'm just saying each movie has a different feel to it. Again so excited you're doing this and I would advise you to go online and look at the list that people put out about the chronological order in which the actual stories were in not how the movies were released because then it makes more sense how they fit together.
I dropped in, intrigued by your videos about other reaction channels, decided to watch this and was very entertained. Certainly one of the liveliest reactions around. Looking forward to the next one!

So stoked to see movie reviews from you too. The MCU is probably one of my favorites. Pro tip... don't expect there to only be one post-credit scene, there can be multiples. Also in the very beginning there were a couple of recasts that could potentially throw you off a little but really they were the right calls and grow on you.
