To me he always reminded me of Hokage Naruto, like how yami feels like a previous protag. When he turned into a kid it was also insane because I was for sure he was gone.
I feel like the childlike nature was just to keep eyes off him. Remember when Marx kept talking about how he disappeared all the time. He plays it off like he's having fun excursions searching for new magic. But Lucius was playing everyone.

I am glad that you like this character soo much. He is one of my favorite characters in black clover and him as a person and that huge twist is simply beautiful. At first when you were talking about Julius I was thinking of him as an enigmatic character because we no nothing of him especially his magic now that we know that the magic that he has been using is that of asaroth. And him having a twin brother and him being from the spade but still being a kind person and wizard king trying to change the system for the better was truly amazing. He is respected admired and even if the nerf the captains still respect him. I would like to know more about who he is because I know that he is human but he knows a lot but the thing is he has never used soul magic also he did not even know that he had a second soul in his body because of Lucius which was amazing. We can literally go back and see things in a new context because of his other half but there still some mysterious to him that intrigue me. One Lucius out of the two had not been 100% correct unlike Julius who has been correct, does that mean that they use time magic differently even though it is from the same devil which may be true since Lucius can see many futures while as for all we know we just know that Julius can see the future. Second where did Julius come from because I feel like Julius is the second soul we know this from the flashback of Lucius bland if Thragg is true where did he come from and was he like the elves a human from the long past. The third thing is what is his original magic is it actually time magic like astaroth or something else and why have we not gotten a name drop or something. The last thing is how does Julius no so much about things like we can some it up to time magic or from Lucius’ influence but it seems more that that I feel like. What did you think of this hypothesis or theory?
