Basically conrod is the gilgamesh of black clover I mean the guys key magic is similar to the gate of babylon, and the sword is like Ea a powerful sword capable of bringing destruction.
Edward (who was 66) managed to freeze up the entire high mana volcano zone and fight in it like it was nothing. Princia (who was 22) managed to hold off a fire incarnate mereoleona with a elemental disadvantage. Jester (who was 23) managed to tank a dimensional slash power up by nozel and fuegoleon and a direct hit from SD Yuno and was still able to fight. The Wizard kings are really no joke and when I see there ages , that makes me wonder what Nozel and fuegoleon are doing with their lives...
The fact that none of them are in their prime anymore in the movie. Princia always smiling while receiving those attack from mere and fighting while million of armies deployed in the kingdom. Eduard if u read his backstory he has a soft spot to black bulls cus they were mostly oprhans and misfits. He holds back and show mercy to them. BB crews are really lucky their match up aint the other two WK, or theyll be folded. Kudos to the crew they managed to destroy one of Eduard’s spell. Jester is wild with AOE ability and barrier activated while fighting three captains and yuno, and tanked all the damage and yet hestill standing.

Experience: check Combat smarts: check AOE: check Melee: Check Range: Check Defense: check ATTACKS: DOUBLE CHECK Power Versatility: Check Endurance: CHECK It was also shown that he was never bested on the movie, as the only reason he was stopped was because the revival spell used to bring him back was undone. We never saw the full scope of his power, and yet he successfully held his own, dominated even, 4 high level mages like it was another tuesday for him. He is basically what Prime Yuno would be and must be measured to if Yuno ever becomes a Wizard king.
Yea julius almost got fucked by conrads attack if yami wasnt there to save him . . But he definitely isnt beat conrad . Especially since conrad can steal a person magic abilities
I would love just a spin off that was like how Nero observed all the Wizard Kings over the years, or just some character telling stories about them. Out of 28 Wizard Kings, we have an idea for 6 of them now. So 22 episodes wouldn't be bad.

I feel like the premise of this movie should have been the series' final arc. Conrad was portrayed to be a deep and interesting character. As a former wizard king he went about his plan with a refined strategy. Conrad respected Asta from the beginning and didn't look down upon him for having no magic. Rather he was interested in him and when entering the memories of Marx he knew how special Asta is. He was one step ahead when he got into Nero's secret lair before the black bulls. Conrad intimidated Yami, Noelle, Finral and Nero. The people Asta is closest with to a point where he lost his composure and even than Conrad was just facined by Asta. The previous wizard kings agreed on Conrad's view of a new clover kingdom so we had potentially a lot of interesting history to explore. The fights were peak. Nobody of the main cast was portrayed weak against the previous wizard kings rather everyone stayed in the realm of their possibilities. Asta and Conrad had a all out conversation about their ambitions. He even let Asta hit him because he respected him that much. Conrad offered Asta to be the next wizard king of his newly formed clover kingdom but Asta refused. He doesn't want his goals handed to him, he wants to work his way towards them. I just loved Asta in this movie, he was charismatic, mature and again so inspiring. He wouldn't blame anyone if they would seek shelter in heart kingdom. He again played his part perfectly. When Conrad was defeated after an intense fight all Asta gave him was peace. Even the previous wizard kings had a peaceful send-off as if they knew the clover kingdom was in good hands now. I also really liked Noelle's performance because she just showed how much of an intelligent and experienced fighter she's become even with the basics of magic. Edward approved of Noelle's passion with the black bulls that made them stronger against him. This is the Noelle I wanted to see in the current manga, not relying on the next power up but on the experience she had up until now. This movie had more of an conclusion that actually felt conclusive. A grounded adventure that summed up everything Black Clover is all about. Finally something that is entirely separate from devils. On the other hand, everything related to Lucius Zogratis just feels over the top for me.
Can’t believe I read all that, but I agree. I also thought that the pacing was light speed and that if they made the movie into an arc it would have been much better. I didn’t know basically any of the wizard king backstories until I watched this video. Plus, we could have got a whole grand magic games arc before hand, which they already did with the royal knight exam but the trope never gets old. They even ended the movie with Asta vs Yuno. If it was an arc it would be one of the best. it’s ideas being fleshed out would make it really good.
After reading this, I agree that this movie should have been the final arc. It would have been the perfect conclusion to everything. After fighting devils, triad, and elves, the final battle is with the ideology and prejudice of the clover kingdom itself and its history.

The emperor sword is similar to astas/licht demon dweller sword that can absorb magic. For asta, we discovered that he can wield magic as well without any conflict with liebes anti magic. Yin and Yang.

Sword is hardly one for all. It's a massive battery. one for all is a power tht has a Neuro network tht is cultivated like a fruit. The sword just has a massive mana pool it's basically the sage mark and technique Tsunade uses. And can run out like a battery be one reason it shattered it ran out of mana and couldn't counter astas anti magic anymore Basically told us tht in the movie it was the perfect balance for asta till it ran out. And Conrad's power is pretty similar to afo minus someone being able to take their grimore back and him basically having Gilgameshs oblivion gate

So glad the previous Wizard Kings sided more with Asta struggle than those of similar status. So the movie, done under Tanata supervision as something he actually wanted to add in the manga, really teased Asta as being a Wizard King.

This would have been the most realistic end for black clover, After the Elf arc. This would have been the perfect touch without it being too over the top, it fits well with what the black clover story was building up. The core of the problem being the nobles.
I'm kinda hoping that Lucius revives these four Wizard Kings alongside the rest of the previous ones so it feels like an actual war (not too sure about Lumiere though). Edit: To add onto my "actual war" point, I would also like to see Adramelech leading a group of devils who weren't defeated by Lucius when he shows up again (even though Yuno in base form killed all the ones who were with him last time) and I'm sure Mars, Fana, Fanzell, his wife, Mariella, and some other diamond kingdom soldiers will appear as well since the Witch Queen, Kaito, and Kohano have finally returned. But I wonder if Leopold will ever appear again 😂

I just realised something, doesn’t the 20th Wizard King remind y’all of someone we already know in the canon story in the earlier arcs? There was a priest who looked similar to him and also used Ice magic, maybe he was his descendant? But wasn’t strong enough, this was when Asta got his first mission after joining the Black Bulls, I think idk my memory a little bit foggy

Tbh I found the side fights better than the main one, jester and princia were my fav but I also wanted to see how the other WK would do against mereo, since I think yuno + 3 captains and black bulls are getting folded by princia, serious edward and serious jester
It's implied that the wizard kings can take around 3 captains at a time with Princia probably able to take down all of them. Not sure how but shes stated to be able to make an Infinite amount of soldiers which held off two captains, simultaneously fight off mereo and still take over the capital. I think shes the least balanced compared to Jester.
Now thinking about it. If Asta can turn the fallen angels into their original form like sister lily, that means he could have the ability to use zetten and separate the two souls of Julius and Lucius.
Conclusion of this vidéo, it's time for a french to bring this really useful tool called "the Guillotine" in the clover kingdome. I'm even suprise there're still not a single character with this type of magic based on execution.

I have a theory that Conrad is Asta's dad because it would make sense that the man with all the magic types to have a kid with no magic at all to balance things out. Also in the movie they were comparing them a lot showing their similarities. plus the necklace that yuno/asta had when they were at the orphanage looks very similar to Conrad's necklace.
Huh you could be right. Because asta is licitas son and she could take magic from other people. Maybe that is why he has no magic. But both Conrad and licita have very powerful magic. So asta could have tremendous magic that the all of the wizard kings combined.

The Imperial swords reminds me of Blade of the Ruined Kind aka Sanctity from The Ruination novel. This sword Absorbs Souls and has been passed down to every King of Camavor and when the weilder dies there soul will be absorbed by the Sword for the next King to Inherit.

Maybe unpopular, but Edward was my favorite. Would’ve liked to see him be serious, or fight someone he found repulsive like Jack or Nozel.

There was a priest who looked similar to him and also used Ice magic, maybe he was his descendant? But wasn’t strong enough, this was when Asta got his first mission after joining the Black Bulls, I think idk my memory a little bit foggy

Tbh I found the side fights better than the main one, jester and princia were my fav but I also wanted to see how the other WK would do against mereo, since I think yuno + 3 captains and black bulls are getting folded by princia, serious edward and serious jester
It's implied that the wizard kings can take around 3 captains at a time with Princia probably able to take down all of them. Not sure how but shes stated to be able to make an Infinite amount of soldiers which held off two captains, simultaneously fight off mereo and still take over the capital. I think shes the least balanced compared to Jester.

I have a theory that Conrad is Asta's dad because it would make sense that the man with all the magic types to have a kid with no magic at all to balance things out. Also in the movie they were comparing them a lot showing their similarities. plus the necklace that yuno/asta had when they were at the orphanage looks very similar to Conrad's necklace.
Huh you could be right. Because asta is licitas son and she could take magic from other people. Maybe that is why he has no magic. But both Conrad and licita have very powerful magic. So asta could have tremendous magic that the all of the wizard kings combined.

The Imperial swords reminds me of Blade of the Ruined Kind aka Sanctity from The Ruination novel. This sword Absorbs Souls and has been passed down to every King of Camavor and when the weilder dies there soul will be absorbed by the Sword for the next King to Inherit.
