The mowing is great, but my favorite parts are the hand tools and when you take care to leave the other plants alone while cleaning up around them. Wonderful attention to detail!
While I respect the other youtubers that do similar yard cleanups, you are the only one who goes above and beyond by cleaning up all the clippings. I’ve never seen anyone else put this much detail into their work. Props to you sir!
Because that's stupid.. lawn clippings make natural compost for the lawn and help reduce the need for chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the future..
@@sylfix2680 if the yard is always kept up than yes. My 1st mows after the winter are thick, so I do clean up all clippings, but once it settles into spring I leave them in the yard too. Everything about this just oozes professionalism, all the way from the quality of your work to your social media marketing scheme and the philantropy you do. What a king.
Agree. In SA the Municipality workers who cut the grass could learn a lot from this video on how to cut grass, to have pride in their work. Tbey cut grass, leave cuttings and leave tbe rubbish behind.
This free lawn mowing is a new obsession for me, so I've watched a golden ton of these videos. That being said, you are the FIRST who has gone that extra mile to bring out a rake and not leave grass clippings laying around from the weed eating. This is quality work and a joy to watch. Good on you, sir.
As a former landscaper, most people have no idea how much work it takes to maintain their yards, or the immense value of this cleanup. I’ve totally used the kick method when dealing with thistles😆 Watched to the end to help you get paid!
Most 0f us know exactly how much work is involved as we have done it ourselves for many years. At some point you reach a time in your life where is is no longer possible to do it ourselves!
agreed but also I think its classy to not put them in the video since millions of people watch it I personally would rather have my lawn terrible than have my face broadcast to 4million + people
I don’t get these comments. If she gave a fuck, she would have gotten it cut. She doesn’t. She’s probably a hoarder and incredibly cheap. Not sure why that lack of maintenance is even allowed. Fucks up the neighborhood.
You do a great job. I’ll watch to help you get paid for helping people out like this. It’s tough out there for so many. What you do helps people who are clearly struggling with their yards.
I kinda disagree, this home owner has a nice house, a second hand mower costs nothing, hardly any fuel costs and an hour of their time. My sister over 50 mows her own lawns. Otherhand a elderly person or someone poor is a different ball game.
@@heavyt5489 i agree.. the property occupant has apparently made little or no effort to maintain the property.. property ownership has obligations that some people appear unprepared for.
She obviously lives in a nice neighborhood, of course we don’t know the details, she could have health issues or suffer from depression. Maybe she lost the person who normally does it. Either way, it was very kind of him to mow it, and maybe that act will be enough to encourage her to hire someone.
@@heavyt5489 There are a lot of common disabilities that aren't included as disabilities to the government so no support is available - chronic exertional fatigue, & Graves disease are two that I have which often weaken me to the point it stops me from being able to do my lawn. Long term covid being in the spotlight is starting to get scientists to look at that sort of thing research wise, but still no support is given and frankly renting or owning, it can be hard to find low maintenance properties. Obviously if I had the money I would find a place or make the garden low maintenance. I think it's lazy reasoning you come to the conclusion she must not be trying/caring enough when her not giving a crap is probably the least probable reason.
Appreciating the compassion this community. There was a commenter who wanted the human element of finding a “more deserving person,” meaning one that would draw our sympathy when we intrude with a camera in their face. Truth is, we all fall behind in some element of our lives for whatever reason. His helping hand from out of the blue is such a gift that lifts her, and the rest of us.
The fact you took the law clippings and de-rooted the weeds in front of the garage got you my sub! Most will just cut them out and leave the root to grow and then just mulch up the lawn clippings leaving them behind. This is a beautiful job done!
@@davinderc short clippings, yes. Long clippings will just suffocate the remaining grass (which is already not doing great because it didn't get any sun due to the long grass)
@@davinderc yes but only if you scatter them properly. If you let them stay in clumps, especially longer clippings, those clumps will suffocate and kill the grass underneath, creating ugly bald spots on the lawn.
When someone can find work they can feel pride in and feel fairly treated for their efforts. Sadly lack of pride isn't the cause of the problems we have, so no, more people like this wouldn't change things. There are already billions of people like this who would be happy to have pride in their work. When forced to work for less than you are worth due to large corporations having such tight control over an area or part of a market, it is understandable why things are not going well right now. People not having pride is a symptom of things not working well for them, not the cause. The world would be a wonderful place if more people had reasons to have pride. Tyson meat is one example that is a direct cause of many problems. Nearly all meat sold in America, regardless of the re-branding it owned by Tyson. That means a farmer that raises chickens for meat has basically one place to sell all that hard work that goes into raising chickens. If a farmer tries to get a fair price of what their labor is worth, Tyson has and does bully them into getting ripped off. Tyson has contracts with supermarkets to only buy from them, so even if farmers tried going to the store directly they wouldn't be able to sell. Tell that farmer to take pride as they get taken advantage of and exploited due to lack of competition in the market. I might not be the best at explaining it, but I know lots of people feel this pain of being underpaid and/or overworked. It should go without saying but as a reminder, content like this is an act to an extent for the viewer. It makes more money from viewers to behave in a way that appeals to them. He knows the money comes from the viewers and so is putting on a show that would please his base. The persona he is acting is one of professional perfectionism. If he was having a bad day, he won't show it all over a video to his viewers because it doesn't fit his act. I'm sure someone could get similar following but from a different group of people if he dressed in a clown suit cracking terrible lawn jokes. Don't believe everything you see on UA-cam to be completely honest. There is always an edit and slant, for good or bad is up to you.
And on the same token if clients were mostly like this lady, can you give me a quote? Why are you doing this for free? And being grateful for a job well done, more people wouldn’t have their pride in their job destroyed
Taking pride in your work is just a euphemism for working much harder than everyone else for equal or less pay. Yeah, no thanks. I'm not busting my ass anymore so that I can get taken advantage of.
@@FallenMerick Damn, bruh.. You ok. Many people have pride in their work. You're confusing working hard vs. Working smart and loving your Job. You're right, this is very satisfying to watch! I love how you explained your business model to the homeowner. Also I know this is a small thing, but it's always really cool to see professionals wearing protective equipment on the job like dust masks, gloves, tall boots, and neck shades. It's informative for people who might be caring for their own properties and may not know to protect themselves from the elements when working outside. In addition to the sun, there can be so many hazards lurking in tall grass! From pollen to spiders or snakes to poison ivy or thorny vines, you just never know when the grass is long like this. Thanks for the cool video!

True transparency. It's a beautiful thing.

It's really the best method to be honest.. Screw grabbing those if I can just kick them out lol
And it takes YEARS of removing and poisoning them before they stop reappearing.
Great!
People who don’t know how much work it takes to keep their lawn should get their butts out and do their duty
Most 0f us know exactly how much work is involved as we have done it ourselves for many years. At some point you reach a time in your life where is is no longer possible to do it ourselves!

@The Monster Under Your Bed your mom and grandma have no sense of accountability and blah blah? Do you tell them that?
The fact you took the law clippings and de-rooted the weeds in front of the garage got you my sub! Most will just cut them out and leave the root to grow and then just mulch up the lawn clippings leaving them behind. This is a beautiful job done!
don't the lawn clippings decompose if you leave them there and help the grass continue to remain healthy?
@@davinderc short clippings, yes. Long clippings will just suffocate the remaining grass (which is already not doing great because it didn't get any sun due to the long grass)
@@davinderc yes but only if you scatter them properly. If you let them stay in clumps, especially longer clippings, those clumps will suffocate and kill the grass underneath, creating ugly bald spots on the lawn.
Not to mention the mess it will make in the neighborhood due to wind blowing the clippings all over the place.
Mulch is good for a lawn.
It disappears quick.
If the whole world was made up of guys like this that took some pride in their work it would be a wonderful place.
For real. None of the people I pay regularly to maintain my yard do even half this good of a job. Though my current guy is well worth the money.
I was only about 9 at the time and thought it would be fun. I still hope to visit someday and, who knows, maybe I'll fall in love and want to stay. It looks beautiful based on your videos. Your work is always superior to most of the others I watch.
I worked as a gardener for several years and I still love watching gardens being tended. The smell of freshly mown grass immediately hits my nose. Splendid 😊
This dude does such an amazing job. And yes watching is strangely therapeutic.❤
Anyone with the slightest degree of OCD is likely to enjoy this sort of video. Other people too.
Definitely the most thorough lawnmower man on YT. Treats the job like it's a paying gig. The colorant looked pretty good too.
You dear boy what a lovely kindhearted man you are ❤many thanks for all you do for others 🎉
I'm allergic to cut grass. It's really enjoyable watching those heaps of freshly cut grass without getting a migraine.
If the front was like that I wonder what the back looks like!?! 👀😂
Great job Tim! I like the lawn painting! 😁👍
That was a big job for such a small yard! The spray paint made a big difference. Good job, Tim!
The lawn paint is interesting. What is it? How long does it last? I'd like to see a still shot before and after from across the street too (I.e. whole house shot). A reaction from the owner after would be cool to see as well.
Why paint it at all?? Looks great without something synthetic.
🤔
What is the lawn paint made of? Are there seeds or nutrients in it?
I liked that you bagged everything up and mowed the grass in different directions… It is a very nice manicured look…
Tim, you use a whipper snipper like an artist uses a paint brush. Good man 😘
