When the heard comes out and the auctioneer says 398 is that dollars per goat or is it the 398 for whole herd?
Which auctions do you recommend close to ks _ MO area ?

It is down significantly from last year. Next year, anybody's guess.
Can you explain what they mean on price when they bring herd out? Is it per goat or for whole herd price or what
That is the price per pound for one goat. The board shows how many are in the ring and the average and total weight. Buyers buy all in the ring.
Were they going by the lb or was the end number dollars?
It was by the pound, lambs about $192/hd.
