FOR ANYONE WONDERNG ABOUT THE MIRROR SOURCE IN 2024, IF YOU GO TO SOURCES AND SELECT "Scene" THIS WILL ADD ALL THE AUDIOS INTO ANY SCENE YOU CHOOSE

Hey @ 2:38 your screen is different to mine but my OBS(29.1.3) doesn't let me choose just an exe but says "Window" with a list of exe's running but if I click the Discord one I see the channel but the audio levels don't appear like they do with the microphone one you do previously. Any ideas?

whenever I click advanced audio properties and change it from monitoring off to the other options so my twitch doesn't hear discord or Spotify, it makes everything sound weird af. I know im on a newer version of OBS and I already had things previously set up but Im lost

Thew new OBS you don't need the plug-in anymore. Youi just use the new Beta Audio Application. And the Audio will be in all scenes automatically. Also, Audio in nested scenes can cause problems. So, you create a Scene for all Audio. But you don't add the nested scene of the audio anymore to others. Cool!
So with the beta I can skip the "Mirror" step entirely? It will just auto apply to every scene I have?
what about sound alerts and what not? also do you just have to add everygame you play on stream to the game source?
Create an Alert Nest just like this audio nest..
and the same with gaming. Make a gaming nest.
is there a way to do the anti DMCA thing while using restream? When using restream the twitch VOD track option isn't available
2 ways... use the paid version of restream or multi stream through OBS
I can't mirror scene into live, and i followed all the steps, any suggestions? tough i have some other stuff in my live scene that previusly was in the Audio group.
You dont have to mirror the scene. All you have to do is add a new source to your live scene and select "scene". Then choose the audio nest.
So when I actually start recording everything is separated just fine when I listen to the playback; however, in my own headset I am hearing an echo from music/podcast. I have them set to "monitor only" in order to cancel the audio from being recorded and it seems when I turn these back to "monitor off" then the echo goes away. I'm not sure why I am getting this echo as I'm not using the "monitor and output" setting. Do you have any tips? Thanks!
you need to go into OBS settings and disable all audio settings you dont want..
@@GenXTech I am fairly certain I have done this and still have the same issue. If you have any other suggestions I will try them out otherwise I will do some more research to figure out the problem on my own. Your video was still helpful for the most part as it helps me solve majority of the problem I was working through. Thanks!

I dont have the audio mirror option so i cant nest my audio im using version 30.0 on obs can you tell me what to do or make an updated video for the new obs
Did you download the plugin from the comments?
I can’t seem to get my sound alerts and shout outs to play thru obs so people on my stream can hear them
open the source and check the box that says something like "use OBS for audio"
Does this work on UA-cam if you are multistreaming through OBS?

You must have missed steps.. this is really easy to set up, just follow the directions exactly as I do..
The source mirror doesn't appear in my obs, what do I do?

When you set it all up , it does no go through when you stream on twitch.

I was trying to find a way to mute my switch audio to my viewers so I can play lofi for them to hear instead but I have yet to find a solution. Any ideas?? This didn't work as it didn't find my switch.

idk how but i can still hear my switch audio through the general audio. It's been a whole mess trying to fix this. I even have my capture card set to "capture audio only"@@GenXTech
also, "source mirror" doesn't exist anymore on OBS. But i think I may have figured it all out lol its jsut been a rise for me@@GenXTech
