Hello Rob. An area very familiar to me. I lived in Itchen Stoke in the mid 60s, after being married in the church. You walked past my old house, just prior to that bus shelter. When you walked down towards the river, there was a cricket pitch on the right, where I enjoyed many weekend afternoon. No trace of it now of course. When you got over towards the Bush Inn, I was surprised you didn't show Ovington Mill. Ovington is actually pronounced Uvington and in that churchyard is buried my mother and grandmother. I actually spotted the grave as you walked in through the gate. Well done for the walk. Brought back many memories.

Glad you enjoyed it. I love it when my walks mean so much to people. You'll have to excuse me .missing the mill , my extra pair of eyes (Trev) wasn't with me that day and my old boots were killing my feet 🙂
