#96 Rob's Hampshire Pub Walks Whitchurch & Tufton River and Railway Walk

Starting and finishing at The Kings Arms, Whitchurch , Hampshire. (RG28 7AB) 1 OR 5 miles approximately.
This is a gem of a Hampshire Pub Walk with the quaint Whitchurch town centre, lovely silk mill, River Test walks and the imposing railway architecture of the abandoned Didcot, Newbury & Southampton Railway, all set in beautiful Hampshire countryside.
A figure of eight walk, this is really two Hampshire Walks in one with the top loop taking in the town centre and the Town and Silk Mills on the banks of the River Test and is a perfect one mile stroll . Add the bottom loop to increase the walk to five miles and experience more stunning riverside scenery, the fulling mill, churches, railway and the glorious Hampshire countryside. This is one of the most pleasant and versatile Hampshire walks I have done . Enjoy.

I have done this walk but at the end turned around & went back the way I came because the road is so busy to walk along.

The road bit is all but cut out now due to the permissive path.
