    The super juice is a foliar spray. If you have a lot of leaf area to absorb it, it will work. If you spray it on dormant grass it won't.

    I’ve been using super juice on a tall fescue lawn in the transition zone for 2 years, along with Pgf complete, humichar and Milorganite , my yard is amazing.

  • @wyattlong6068
    @wyattlong6068 4 роки тому +4

    Doc also recommends letting your grass “wake up” to 50 percent green before scalping and applying it for that effect. You should be applying PFG complete prior to the yard greening, right before greening

    I started using Super Juice 5 weeks ago so I’ve put down 5 treatments. My lawn is lush and beautiful green and thick. It actually looks like Doc’s lawn 😁 I’m sold on this stuff. I’m in the Dallas area.

    From the FAQ page: "Having the liquid stay moist also helps absorption via foliar absorption, so early evening applications may see better results." It also mention "early spring application" though it does not mention 50% greening. Maybe its best to wait till you get some green and since you are still scalping your actual greening will be a bit slower. Though, your soil should be benefiting from the early apps. Just something to consider. And Doc, don't cut extremely low...I believe his cut is 1 to 2 inches...a bit more foliage to absorb through.

    We all need to remember, Doc is trying to sell a product, so he's going to make it sound amazing even if it's not. I've noticed that he stopped saying it could be a primary fertilizer and has resorted to supplement.

    Try spraying it down weekly. My lawn is almost fully green but I think I'm ahead of you by 3 weeks as far as weather here in central texas. I'm on my third application. I also put down the anderson fertilizer.

    • @reelbobshady7458
      @reelbobshady7458  5 років тому +2

      Victor Esparza yeah I normally would apply weekly, but I’m trying to stay as true to the recommendations as possible for review purposes. I’m actually being generous for applying the 2nd round at just 13 days for a 14-2-4 ratio. At the full rate, it is recommended to put out every 3-4wks. I know Doc says he does the 7-1-2 ratio every wk.

    I'm on my fifth week as I apply every Thursday. On the 18th will be my 6th time and I can say its looking good. I will drop the pgf 16-0-8 that Doc suggests this Thursday as well. Try going weekly
    and add some fertilizer give it some time you wont be disappointed. Also keep in mind Doc had his soil tested and added the necessary amendments as well. He's on top of the turf game.

    Interesting. I waited until I saw the green haze as Doc suggested. I scalped and have been on the 4th week of spraying the 'Super Juice' using his ghetto (old) recipe. My lawn looks about the same as your neighbors lawn. I will say and suggest that we have taken into consideration that Doc's lawn is in much better condition than our lawn. That may be why it looks better?!? If you look at his neighbor's house known as 'Barb' it doesn't look as good as Doc's, but it is getting there. I am in Central Texas and about 2 weeks behind Doc's based on ground temps. I wish you luck.

    doc has applied different types of fertilizers including his test super juice/liquid lawn prior to winter....so his soil is much healthier and will green up much faster than the average homeowner starting to use super juice....I think doc exaggerated the effects of super juice just a little to much and should not use his lawn as proof to why it works. Super juice has not been tested that long...not even for a year. Has not been tested on any other lawn nore grass type. So there will be a lot of changes i believe in the coming year. Specially in application rate and usage. I think for something being so new, the price of super juice is pretty ridiculous.

    reviewing products from high subscriber channel is good way to build your own audience. I subscribed - so it works. I have to say that I've been using Docs Super Juice weekly for about 6 weeks and its worked great. My lawn is greener than all my neighbors. I scalped in April (I live in GA like Doc does). I think your results have more to do with scalping than with the juice. It is possible that Urban Farm would provide similar results. I might try that since it is less $$ - but for now Super Juice is working great.
