Yes I know they are not really comparable to each other I am simply using both to see what they will do to my yard. Not trying to say they are the same thing at all. I know that there is smaller amounts of nitrogen in Doc's Super Juice than there is in Carbon X.

Yes I agree. These videos on manicured yards don't sell it for me. I could easily go make a video on a beautiful lawn with a bag of dog shit next to me and telling everyone what's in this bag makes your yard look like this one.
I love how the houses in your development all have a large garage door bay on the end to fit a RV, boat etc... hats off to the developers they were really thinking about what makes us guys happy!
RV doors are pretty common here in Utah. I love having it though makes room for all my lawn toys!

@@LawnDad yeah that's probably a good comparison. Turfgrass pro makes a liquid fertilizer that's like an 18-3-6 with micros that's probably a decent comparison.

Urban Farm Liquid Lawn is similar and only $40 shipped. Similar ingredients (but higher N) and is what doc used to use. 18-0-1 Green Punch or 7-0-0 GreenEffect from GCF are only about $27 shipped and even higher N, just less balanced. Just a couple examples of other options if you want to try
Yeah there are many products that will have a much higher nitrogen content and are cheaper. This stuff will work I really do believe but for the price it seems like it's not worth it to me.

Urban farm gallon of lawn food is a 13-1-2 and dilutes to 256 gallons. Get a plastic 275 gallon tote and store it in a shed or something. I think it calls for every 2 week apps. Has great reviews for the most part but who knows how people are applying it.
I just received Urban Farms Liquid. I’ll apply this weekend.
I previously tried super juice. My opinion it worked but lost the green within 3 weeks. Speedy!
I have pastures I’m working to get healthy grass growth with new seed.
Buy liquid lawn, liquid iron and put down granular humic. That’s basically the original SJ formula and way cheaper than docs product he’s hawking now. There’s a reason he took down the formula on his website.

The biggest reason I compared the two was because there are people debating buying one or the other for their lawn and I wanted to show what each one will do stand alone with no other products. @@rymaster4385 I got a DJI Spark I really really like the thing and it's super compact.
The lawn looks real nice. I use Super Juice as a supplement to the granular that I put out on my Bermuda . I try to apply it after I cut the lawn, but with the lack of rain and the high temps here, I try to apply it the very next day after having some rain. It works out to where I’m actually applying it every two weeks. I do believe that Super Juice has sea kelp in it as I’m pretty sure it was listed in the section stating what it’s derived from.

Check out his PGF Complete, not sure if its released yet, but it would be a more comparable product. I've been using Carbon X this season and have been more than impressed. It's a little challenging to get even coverage at the low rate + larger incosinstant prill size (they made some changes after I got mine, so I hear it's better), but after 2 applications and being careful not to get too close to my trim pass, my lawns color is very dark and has evened out. The PGF prill size is what has me interested.

Thank you for the video. As a novice, I've learned a lot from videos like yours and others and to stay away from synthetic ferts. You stand correct about Doc, pushing it as a supplement and I've noticed it.
I literally killed my lawn 3 years ago. My wife was in my ear for those 3 years. This year BOOM! Took 3 years to bounce back with proper and consistent maintenance and fert. 1 key element I did learn is mow tall and consistent. Cool season grass here. (Milorganite is EFFEN AMAZING along with potassium) I say 3 years because, only I do the yard work, ONLY once a week. My neighbors praise it. It's not at 100% or even 90, I'd say 75%. Next year it'll be 100% Thank you once again for this great video and I will be returning the SJ. BTW, I did preorder the PGF 😄

I didn't make it that way the guy before me had it poured already. It's set up to put a 40x40 outbuilding there and maybe one day when I hit the lotto I'll have the 50k I need to put one there.

Is there any benefit to carbon x vs Milorganite? Can they be used together? Is one better than other?
Milorganite is such a low dose of nitrogen I'd imagine you could use them together.
Do you ever miss it in Utah?
I'm interested to see long term if the carbon x will continue to keep it that color! Good quick update and I know I'm not the only one who thought you were going to hit that first roof!!! Talk about stressful!

It was done prior to me moving into the home. But they just had a company come pour the concrete curbing.
I can vouch that carbon-x works. I'm not a big fan of liquid fertilizers unless its already prepackaged like simple lawn solutions. The mixing of super juice and other liquids like GCF is too much on bigger lots. If i had a permagreen sprayer, then maybe i would feel differently.
How tall is your grass? ... is bermuda grass?.
I mow the front at .5" it was a mix of cool season grass types, kbg PRG and fescue. I killed it off and planted 100% prg today.

There is nothing unique about Super Juice and like you said you can find many products that can be tank mixed to be what Super Juice is. Carbon X on the other hand is unique and something brand new that has never been done before. The science backs up why it is going to be a great product. Being in FLA with a month in to the fert band I am very impressed by the color I am still getting with the Carbon X I put down the last week of May.

I would use carbon x before i buy something like super juice. If i were to use dry ingredients like in the super juice i would buy products off kelp4less .com and fine tune whatever i wanted in it....and add more nitrogen as well. Super juice has the right idea because youre not paying to ship water in a container plus ingredie ts.... that's kelp4less.com theory. Saves you tons of money.
How would you compare Carbon X with Ringer or Purely Organic?
Not sure on that one as I haven't used either of those other products.
I got no results from Ringer. None. Idk why but never gonna buy it again.

Thank you David, I really want to try and show what it can do along with carbon x. I have no connection to either and don't care either way what works better or if either of them work. I just want people to know what they are buying when before they buy it. Both products have been labeled "miracle fert" so I wanted to do a real video on results from someone with no interest in either product.
Super Juice has sea kelp in it. Doc talks about it and it is on the label. You said it does not.

I put down Super Juice once a week, (when it's not *_FREAKING RAINING!!!_* ) along with Milorganite once a month. My lawn grow 1"-1.5"+, every 24 hours.
I think it is a good product to use in conjunction to a good fertilizer regimen for sure.

Doc makes the claim that Super Juice DOES have sea kelp. He's said that idk how many times, the other thing is, it smells like a fish pond when you mix it up. If that ain't sea kelp, idk what is.

if the Carbon X really has BioChar in it, it should take longer and also need a greater build up of the carbon charcoal before you see the direct effects of that main ingredient; otherwise we might only see the results from the other more standard things in that product right away ... right?
It also has micros in it like iron that will give the grass a quick green up. But it should continue to be beneficial long term. Thanks for watching and your feedback Benjamin!

Great vid.... i like country md fert 18-0-18 40$ 40lb with micros mg, mn, s, fe, humic, kelp meal.... i always put down 0,5lb N from MD and 0,5lb N from milo... you can also made your own humic concentrate. 5lb 90% humic water solube cost is 27$ so u can made 5 gallon 9% concentre, if you want liquid dethatcher ? Molasses is great... more micros "microgreen", super juice is super expensive. What else do i need ? :D

First, thank you for your kind words! Yes they are not really comparable, the major reason I wanted to make the video was for the people who wanted to get one or the other. There are many people who will see these products and not understand how they work and won't realize what they are getting. But Doc said, U can use it as a Primary Fertilizer ........IF U WANT TO! But he RECOMMENDS to fertilize with the PGF COMPLETE and follow it up with SUPER JUICE. He said that SUPER JUICE is to give an EXTRA BOOST TO YOUR FERTILIZER.
SUPER JUICE is like IRON, which it gives it a boost to your Fertilizer to push out that green.
So you using it as a main fertilizer is NOT what DOC was suggesting but as a booster.

Don't fret I've still got the deere! I'm a big fan of using what you can find for cheap! I'm not tied down to any specific brand.
The 2 products are different enough that I don't feel this is a good comparison. Personally I like both products. I feel the real test for Super Juice is to put a single strip on an unhealthy lawn. Even then, it's like Super Juice is more for general health where Carbon X is more for growth and color because of the high nitrogen content. Personally I like to put down carbon and organics separately because my clay soil needs more of that than it does the nitrogen.
Man, throw that pool on that concrete and get it off your yard, lol
The open part of the concrete is not level so it won't work (I tried it) it's all good though! I'm more concerned with my kids enjoying being outside than 50 sf of grass! Thanks for watching Randall!

Brett's grasscapades I do not for basically the same reason. However, I would use it before X for the simple reason of all the diseases that chicken poop carries. I know it is probably baked at 1000 degrees... It is just the thought, I guess. :)

Brett's grasscapades It's a struggle. We have two young kids. Chemicals, poop, or nada. :) Andersons has a non-poop organic but $$$$. The good thing is, the kids are old enough not to mistake the chemical fertilizer as Nerds candy and try to eat it. Love the videos!

Super juice is making a lot of money for the amount of ingredients in the bag. Any fertilizer like 10 -10 -10 will do a better job. Just mulch your lawn and let the clipping do the talking.
Just recently noticed the monster concrete pad in the back yard. Any plans to rip part of it out in favor of grass?
Nah I don't think so. The previous homeowner had that done and prepped for a outbuilding. Eventually I'll put one there.
I cant get carbonx sadly because I live in California. I wont get super juice but I am looking forward to the PGF complete that doc has been using.

Actually the Bio Stem Pack is more expensive than Super Juice. At the end of the day these youtubers trying to make $$ and there is nothing wrong with that. I use superjuice and IT WORKS. However i got it when it was $49. Now its $79 so im going back urban farms liquid lawn.
