Doc's Super Juice.. Is it worth the hype? (Before and After Results)

- I purchased this product to make the review after many, many people asked me what I thought. I went as scientific as possible after feedback that prior videos I didn't do a good enough job of comparing before and after and split testing in the yard to see if a product caused the result.

Super Juice is to be used as a supplement along with granular fertilization. I use it on my Bermuda at the 7-1-2 ratio every 2 weeks along with a light monthly granule fertilization of PGF Complete. The results for me this year has been the greenest lawn on the street along with irrigation 3x /week. Super Juice is to be used with a hose end sprayer and as far as cost , yes its not cheap but I get 8 treatments for about $10.00 a treatment which I think is reasonable. Very pleased with the results so far -

What are you expecting it to do? Results in 5-12 days. Starts to take up nutrients in 4 hours. Doesn’t say you see results in 4 hours. It’s all about the concentration of the product.
i have this product. if you watch Docs videos he explained that its a SUPPLEMENT fertilizer. its not meant as a replacement. i personally use it to add micro nutrients and use it as a light in between spray fertilizer. also if im treating for bugs or something, i add this in as an extra boost of recovery from the 'negative' i put down. there are applications where its pointless like your lawn and a few others you showed being professionally fertilized. You never mentioned the last time any one of these lawns were last fertilized with a granular, you just said its taken care of. Timing makes a difference and if you spray this right after or within a week of a granular.. of course you'll see no difference.. Also misleading with the 1-4 hour results. You need to read better he didnt say 1-4hours results he said " Super Juice can be used as a primary fertilizer (like many golf courses do) or as a supplement to your current granular program. Because it is applied as a spray, many of the nutrients will start to be absorbed into the grass via foliar uptake. This can start to happen in as little as 1-4 hours. " he says nutrients absorbed, not results. Try a different test next time, this one is INVALID.
I use both SJ and PGF Complete on my lawn (SJ at 1x every 3 weeks/PGF Complete at 1x every 6wks). I get great results from using these products.
Even Doc says super juice alone will do nothing for a lawn, it is a supplemental product
I'm gonna throw this out there.....I'm not being a "karen" here, but having a close family member as a paramedic.....please don't mix posions in old milk, soda or juice containers. You have little kids, we've all seen them, accidental ingestion is real and very dangerous. Go to HD, in the paint section they have cheap HDX brand buckets with liquid graduations on the side, makes mixing small batches easy and it can be washed out even easier. I try to do most of my mixing right in my spayer. Just a PSA....great vid great test.
I happen to be a customer of both products and I use docs as a supplement to my zoysia lawn, never heard of doc bashing anyone for that matter, I use these channels for educational purposes but it seems everyone has become a salesperson !!!
I think there is a disparity between what Doc explains it as and what it says on Amazon. I don't believe it does nothing... But expecting quick results after a single application is kinda silly. I understand that the description on Amazon is kinda ridiculous. Doc explains it as a very mild supplement that you can put on every 1-4 weeks with the other stuff you are doing. I put it down with some probiotics on top of my Humichar and Chicken feed and use pgf balance in the fall and the spring and pgf complete in the growing season. I have had great results. I have also had to correct my pH with some lime.... Hard to say if the Super Juice is doing much with all the other stuff I am putting down, but it doesn't hurt. I may have to experiment with sectioning of a part of my backyard and not treating it with Super Juice once I have everything looking the way I want.
Just came across this. I am first time user (this year) of Doc products and this summer have restored my disgusting lawn to a now beautifully regrowing Bermuda lawn. I have only done one bag this summer and I’m happy with it. I like the fact I applies wet. The product also works on keeping my plants greener and healthier than they have ever been in 4 years. Yes if you already have other products apply this is not meant to make it even better if it’s already healthy.
I am shocked at the hostility in some of the comments. I have been so enthralled in Doc’s videos as a newly lawn obsessed person. I’m thankful for the education he offers for free, and many others too! It’s exciting to learn, I am thankful for the honest review. Information allows for every individual to make an informed decision. I pray everyone enjoys their lawn care experiences and keeps it positive! Lawn care for me is such a healing experience. Although I did not perform your test I actually applied it to my new bermuda sod and in 3 days my grass was very green.

I'm not a paid spokesman and dont play a professional lawn guy on UA-cam. I am an actual super juice user and I have seen great results. Fertilized once at the start of spring with cheap 10-10-10 and SJ every 2nd or 3rd week. Best looking lawn I've ever had. No bs. Thanks
Drone footage was the best part. Second best was the mixing and spraying music. Third best was helping people see the results of this product. Great video, my friend.
Had my doubts about “Super juice”, but I wasn’t going to drop coin on testing it.
I don't remember the specific advertising for SJ, as I came across Doc's videos and tutorials this spring and learned about all the products...which I bought. So the SJ is used along with regular fertilizer + humichar for supplementing in between. All I can say is that I have the greenest lawn on the block. I killed the Bermuda in the front a few years ago so I could plant fescue, as it was a mix and the lawn was getting more shaded with the tree getting bigger. Now even the Bermuda is coming back! My backyard is filling in with Bermuda. I had been treating improperly prior, and not getting pre-emergent down in the right timing. Regarding this test, your yard is green, but very weedy. The other was even more weedy and the third super dry. It appears nobody is really following great practices with pre-emergents, fertilizing, and watering. SJ certainly won't green up a thirsty lawn.
I tried it this year along with my normal lawn care program. For my bermuda lawn it greens it up super quick but the green last about a week. I keep my yard at an inch and a half and I have to mow every other day since i am using a fiskars reel mower so after about a week and a half i have all new grass showing.
