The spring looked great, a welcome rest bite after all that dust 👍😊
Yes the spring is awesome but with surprising little fish which come to nibble your bits!
@@4x4xplore41 you can’t beat nibbled bits lol 😂
Quite the adventure. I'll take everything but the flies. I hope you got the car sorted. You must of been relieved that nothing snapped in transit.
Yes it was a great adventure! Thanks Ken!
Noice Vid...
Thanks!
Hi guys, enjoying the Simpson vids, we're thinking of doing this trip. Can I ask how much water in total you carried and how much was left in the tank before you had to fill up again at Mt Dare. Or do you know on average how much you use per day travelling.
Hi Mark
Thanks for the feedback! We carried 150liter and we probably only used around 50liter if I remember correctly… it took us 4 days to do the crossing and it was only us 2…. we were very careful with the water, just in case! When we got to Mt Dare we were told that during the flood some people got stuck in the desert for over 10 days…
Enjoy the crossing! You are going to love it, it is a special experience! When are you going? travelling solo?
@@4x4xplore41 thks, we have an 80L tank so should be fine for 2. Trip will be solo and hoping this year.
