Solid as always. Good one fellas.
Need a collaboration!
Cheers! 🍻
@@4WD247when is episode 2 of Simpson out? I’ve been looking forward to it thinking it was going to be today🤦🏼♂️ your killing me here😫
@@93muller😮😮
Sorry boys, you’re the number 2 best 4WD UA-cam channel in Australia
So, I am at the 8 minute mark in, and I am already blwn away with the magic this episode is bringing.. There is something so special about a bare bones rig in a vast emptyiness desert.. Amazing footage men! now back to th show.
Nice to see Jocko back wheeling with his dad and Uncle Shawn. And Pete always makes it look easy. Great episode!
Dad?
@@mattmunn1722Worst-kept secret in the world.
Seeing these old trucks go through reminds me how spoilt we are in our modern 4WDs. My 100 series eased it's way through the Madigan both times and seeing the farm trucks pushing through is a stark reminder how tough this can be. Quality work gents - keep it coming.
I look at it as how far we’ve come 😂 especially with the greatest invention in history… air con
Great work guys. I’m 68 and have done the desert 6 times once as a support crew for 13 push bike riders.
My brother is 76 and new to the 4WD life. We are planning a first crossing of the SIMMO for him before as he says he gets too old.
Great work ? Real.
Did you go yet Allan ?
@@hhhllkk88 yes we have been across. Up to Hamilton Station, Dalhousie across the WAA and on to Birdsville.
Crossed over the easy way so the brother wouldn’t get stuck. But being stubborn he managed anyway. He loved every minute.
To Graham and the boys thank you for showing us hear in Australia and the rest of the world what a truely remarkable country Australia is, thank you a grate episode, keep them coming.
Seriously. I've never been to AUS, but I sure would like to go!
You guys truly live my dream… good friends, 4x4’s, and fantastic camping
Yep, and they get paid to do it as well...talk about dream job.
Being a former owner of a Series 2a Landy in Namibia the joy with old vehicles is they protect themselves by being so uncomfortable if you go too fast. Modern vehicles smooth out the ride so much it is quite easy to damaged them by going to fast. Amazing country - great trip guys.
Good to see Graham wheeling with his son again...epic journey guys! Thx and cheers from the West Coast Canada..
And the East Coast, bud. Cheers 🍻
West coast here too
This is going to be bloody good, UP THE G60🍻
Yeh the G60 looks better than the old cruiser too, just gotta better shape. Chuck some money into it & some nice seats, coil conversion, 5spd box from a GU, it’d be so cool… Anyway just my opinion
@@triggerhappy8872Yeah haha, you could do some mad builds with the g60, could throw it on a gu chassis, wack the kit on it, throw a cool try and redo the interior, you’d have a mint tourer, but leaving it as it is my favorite, old leafys, old leaky petrol motor and a whole 5.4 horsepower
@@Tayzer74 they are a torquey old unit when running right, 114mm stroke see to that. This one a little tired I think
This is what I love about 4wd 24/7, a bunch of great blokes driving mean rigs out on beautiful tracks that a normal person wouldn't see. I wish one day I could come out Australia and take up an adventure with the 4wd crew on one of these breath-taking tracks.
Andrew,
You just earned a huge bit of respect from me beyond what i already had. I appreciate your transparency. Enough said.
I've seen a couple of your videos in the past but recently subscribed. As an American I love the way you Aussies build out your rigs and use some parts as inspiration for my own wrangler. While doing the Simpson desert is on the list of 4x4 things to do, my current goal is to do all the BDR trails we have here. So far I've done most of the Colorado BDR.
I'm planning a huge 4WD touring trip this year starting in October, mainly thanks to you guys inspiration and the amount of fun it is just 4WDing for the day. Being super keen to get out there and experience a lot of Australia, hopefully going again after this trip the year after to maybe eastern Australia. A throttle controller would help a lot, as I have a Nissan Navara and doing these tough tracks would be a lot less worrying with a throttle controller for the big girl. But either way it's going to be a heap of fun for everyone involved.
Day 1-3: Perth to Margaret River
Day 4-6: D'Entrecasteaux National Park
Day 7-9: Albany and Denmark
Day 10-12: Cape Le Grand National Park
Day 13-15: Great Australian Bight
Day 16-18: Googs Track and Gawler Ranges
Day 19-21: Coober Pedy and Oodnadatta Track
Day 22-24: Flinders Ranges, South Australia
Day 25-27: Gawler Ranges (again) and Fowlers Bay
Return to Gawler Ranges and explore different tracks.
Day 28-30: Pilbara Region, Western Australia
Mate - this sounds like and EPIC touring trip! One heck of a bucket list that's for sure. Congrats Devon, you have one 1 of the 5 EVC-X Throttle Controllers! Just to confirm that you have received this message, please screen shot it & send it to us on either our FB messages or Instagram messages. If there is no response within 7 days we will re-draw this prize. Cheers legend! 🍻
Shout out to the film crew on this one. Absolutely fantastic job! The footage is spectacular & captured our beautiful desert with perfection! Well done guys 💯💯💯🤜🤛💥💜
I like the way you drive the trucks along rough roads, hills, valleys, deep waters, mud, etc.
watching you every minute.
grown men giggling about chickens and quoting bhad bhabie is something i never thought id see
When he said “Friendship “ I lost and it. WTH
I think it’s about that time for Shawn and gram to start a series on restoring the old trucks
Brilliant absolutely brilliant, love seeing these old trucks out there. Please don’t be too long bringing out the next episode. Love the scenery.
Been waiting all day to watch since I saw the notification this morning! What an epic trip, not much more getting back to the roots of 4x4 driving. Those old girls are OG.
What an amazing show! Really appreciate you guys 🍻
Cheers mate!
Good show.
Heading to Simpson desert next year and will need a throttle controller to assist with torque control. I know they work as you guys have proven them to be work horses 🍻
Me and a few boys have started the planning for a nearly 2-week trip to Fraser Island once we finish our last exams for school. Already sorted out what rigs are coming and are currently working out campsites based on where we want to go (tough to choose as Fraser looks like such an awesome place). Definitely taken some inspiration from your boys eps at Fraser. Thanks for another good watch!
Definitely recommend central station for the first night on the island, close to lake Mackenzie and you can easily go west from there first or back east and then continue north
Also be ready for March flies at dusk around the beach😅
Yeah the lower third of the island is fucked with the amount of march flies but the upper bits are fine
@@Br3no94 just had a sticky beak at central station and it definitely looks like a real good central spot… thanks for the help mate!💪💪
@@keenanj I’ll have to pack a shit ton of insect repellent haha marsh flies are annoying as
One of my biggest mistakes is not migrating to Australia. I love America but the Australian landscape and emptiness nourishes my soul
Good to see the whole team. Talk about a magical place. You Aussies have it good there I'd say.
So glad to see Graham and Shan back together with the rest of team. Great show as always when you two are together. All you need is Step to join the team
awesome to see you boys having a blast, good work boys
Love your work guys love sitting down with my young bloke watch your awesome adventures as we both love 4wding.
One little thing though boys don’t forget to acknowledge the true custodians of the land who WALKED those track 60000 years ago. Cheers legends.
Every time Shauno and Graham are cooking together you know it will be a good laugh
Such an incredible trip!!! We are currently planning and prepping for our bucket list trip - my daughter and I are going to explore Australia in a 200 series. My daughter is currently 6 years old and LOVES Shauno (and having Shauno wraps for breakfast), and is beyond excited for our round AUS trip.
Boys and the 4bies are ready for an epic 7 days trip to Robe and Beachport SA. Sand driving and beach camping in the menu. Time off work been approved!
Absolutely loving seeing the old farm rigs tackling the Simpson desert. My bucket list trip is using lanes and off-road routes going from where I live in North East England and working my way down into France and along to Andorra to then tackle the old smugglers routes in the mountains around Andorra
Looking forward to exploring this whole wonderful country of ours and especially inspired by the trip you are doing to consider going across the Simpson at some point down the track. Great video - love the old rigs. So cool!
Good to see you guys together again! I do like that you've diversified the shows, but nothing beats the original!!!!
Planning a pretty huge trip up the cape, going to tackle the ol' gunshot for the absolute first time!!
But you guys sure made the Simpson desert jump up pretty high on the list for a trip I'll have to start planning soon!
Good work guys, always with the great content!!
Nice, gotta stop here at lockhart river!
Excellent. Best ariel and camera footage from any of your episodes and we can really see the scale of the endeavour. Can't wait for the next installment. Thanks!
I’ve been getting into 4WDing with my husband after watching the channel for years, our dream bucket list trip is to do the big trip across Australia in our new Dmax to show my husband the beautiful Busselton / Margaret River region where we holidayed when I was little!
I’ve done that trip once don’t get me wrong was awesome but I’m still tightening bolts and cleaning the car and finding that red dirt everywhere😂
🎉From Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
You'll never get it out!
My bucket list is to bring my 4wd to Australia I love watching you all ❤ plzz never quit making these amazing videos so I can see what I’m missing out on love you guys ❤❤
Graham was absolutely hilarious on this one
Top video fellas. A lot of preparation, driving and post production. Thanks & glad you enjoyed the run.
What an awesome trip. The Simpson looks incredible and definitely on the list of places I’d love to visit. Just picked up a 100 series landcruiser and my bucket list trip I want to do in the near future is to the tip of Aus. I feel like an EVC might help the big girl get the power down quicker in some of those sticky situations
Really love that these old classics also get a solid trip out there in the wild 😊❤
Hey guys, I love watching your shows and it’s good to see Graham and Sean and Jocko. It’s good to see use all back together again enjoying life. I was heading that way for years back. My ex partner took everything and I had to restart. I lost my stepfather about two years ago and the money I got from my bought myself a caravan now on this trying to buy a four-wheel-drive so I can go travelling and I want to get it all set up, so one of those controls of you me well. Have a nice time guys and God bless and have a nice day
You guys look like you have an awesome time together when you’re out on the tracks.
What an awesome mission, from the scenery to the trucks and the guys. Love it.
Love watching you guys from across the world in America. All the beautiful and remote places you guys go, I’d love to see the Australian night sky with no light pollution. I can only imagine how amazing it is in person. Cheers 🍻
My dad, my brother and I wanna take on the Cape next year, absolute bucket list for us three as all three of us have never been and doing a camping trip like we used to as kids is just something special especially as my brother and I get older
Brilliant ❤...... simplicity and getting back to basics. Glad your out there giving us inspiration to do more in our 4x4's.
Loving this episode, great to see you all back together. Well done lads. 👍
Graham always gives a bit of Aussie history and backstory. I Iove it.
Great group of guys love AZ giving it to the 79 and Graham, Jocko and Shaun are a great team 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
The cooking segment had me in stitches! Always one of my favorite bits.
What a great group! With your front hubs locked you're still spinning your front drive sahft
These Mates truly deserve international Awards for these videos that NEVER DISAPPOINT!!!!
Hay lads, loving what you do. Im ticking one on my bucket list in about 2 weeks FRASER ISLAND Yo yo lets go!!!
Got the misso and kids (8 and 5) mad into offroading - they're hooked! We're leaving August next year to do the big lap! Can't wait!
The Australian Outback is so stunning in its vastness, I am blown away by its colour and the beauty. Planning on doing a trip along the Gibb River Road with a group of friends after being inspired by this and 24/7 Off Grid. Keep up the great videos...
Super video, oh yes, the old dogs are the best, I say as an old senior engineer and senior site manager (69 years old, often over 50°C hot in summer and over minus 50°C in some winters up at the Arctic Ocean, really ass cold. ), which in 45 years, was on the road all over the world professionally. Great job guys.
Greetings from Frankfurt
It’s a bucket list trip without the planning, leaving Mackay and heading to Karratha within the next couple months, was taking the most off road route for the best part of it but after watching this I now think I know which way I’m going 👍 thanks guys
Good day all. Lad from South Africa here. Myself my Wife and 2 daughters, my father and couple of our beste friend are planning our first overlanding trip to Botswana 🇧🇼 , looking on staying atleast 2 weeks and I have alot going on with my UTE that needs to be modified before then. So fingers crossed all goes well and we love 4wd 24/7🤙thanks for all the great motivation in doing what we love.
Planning a gals trip on the Oodnadatta for a start. Already made the road trip in a convoy of 5 when I was 18. So super keen to show my sisters what is what. My sisters are beginners to 4WD adventuring. We absolutely love watching you guys. And now the Simpson Dessert is on our bucket list❤🎉 thank you fellas

Love seeing the boys back together!
Good looking camp feed. Just bought a Patrol as my first 4WD and am currently setting it up for a bucket list trip to Cape York next year with my Dad. Love the EVC Patrol, definitely gives inspiration for my build.
Awesome episode lads.
Myself and my 7 year old son love watching your episodes.
Watching your show is very much a joy for both of us.
I think secretly, even the misses and my daughter enjoy watching.
I must say during COVID, we watched a heap of your shows.
Which I appreciate beyond imagination!!
Which led myself, and my brother in law planning a trip to Fraser Island.
It’s taken lots of planning, as we are planning this trip with us living in the southern states. I’m in Victoria and he lives in SA.
There is a large convoy going (6 or 7 4wds at this stage.
We hit the Island on 9/10/2023!!!!
Only 40 more sleeps I think.
This will be trip of a lifetime.
Even my cousin has postponed his trip to Las Vegas to join us.
I would love an Ultimate 9 in my little 2007 BT50 to show up all the big rigs going.
Keep the episodes rolling
Myself and family love the show.
The production levels during that opening scene with the drones and the orchestral music 😘👌
What an incredible lot of footage, some unbelievable scenery there. Looks so fitting with the old trucks!
Planning a 3 week trip 4wd around the South Island of New Zealand over the Christmas/new year break with a group of mates. An Ultimate9 would be very handy addition to the trip!
i prayed that the 3 amigo;s get back on a adventure of a life time , its ok to see jock and his friends , then graham and is buddy and wife, and shaun and his , but it the advernture of a lifetime to watch the trio back , thank you !!! the 3 amigo;s is what makes others, and like myself want to watch the videos! p.s. intead of 5 gal jugs, why didnt you put a transfer tank and a tank with 50 to 100 gals of fuel. more weight you'll have fuel. SUPER GLUE TO THE RESCUE
good to see the boys reunited like the old times!
Bucket List Trip.
In 2018 my now ex and I drove the Ranger to the Big Red Bash in Birdsville.
Ever since then it's been my dream to do the trip again, from Victoria to the Bash, up the Birdsville Track, with my adult kids. Now that I've turned 60 I decided it's time to make it happen.
Now I have my (new to me) 1992 Ford Maverick and the 3 of us have made the commitment to go to the Bash in 2025, each in our own vehicle. I have to admire my son and daughter for agreeing to do this trip with their Mum, even if they think she's a little crazy.
Instead of the Ranger and a van it will be me, the Maverick and a tent. I can't bloody wait.
I'll continue watching every single one of your episodes for inspiration, information and of course the laughs.
Keep doing what you're doing guys, you inspire this 60 year old woman to get out there again.
Finally, a very different terrain on an episode. Love it!
The birds.... ah man was laughing right along with ya! 1) get bird, 2) open legs, 3) insert can 4) massage spices 5) put in the pot for 1.5 hours and you got some tender meat!
So good to see another trip with some amazing camp feeds! We are planning our first ever family trip up to cape York with our 3 young kids under 5! Hoping the old GU will get us up there.
Fantastic and enjoyable episode. More of these types of trips please. 👍
One of the best so far for me. Simply epic
Planning on heading up to K'gari Island with about 6 4x4's and 12 mates from Vic. Doing half in the Sandy Cape and the other half at Woralie creek. It's a bit of a mission getting up their from Vic but that's all apart of the fun!
what a bunch of good blokes aye nice to see 4WD Community alive and well.
Pete and that truck of his are a couple of monsters. Just goes to show what light weight and a great driver can do for you, he's consistently one of my favorites to watch since he's just drama free and easy.
Yep, helps when you don't bury yourself deliberately. Love the show but spinning in sand is a no go
We missed you guys , nice to see you again !
One of my bucket list trips is to tackle the Victorian high country. I’m studying paramedicine and am hoping to work in Melbourne. So I would love to explore the beautiful areas up in the clouds. Love what you blokes do, keep it up!!
My bucket list is finally coming true! After so many years watching you guys at Fraser Island I’m going in March next year and can not wait!
Dang that looks awesome. Just completed a bucket list trip in my 80 series. Drove it from BC Canada down all over Mexico and the Western US after 6 months of that. Top of the bucket list now (after watching this channel for a while) is to be able to afford to import it to Aus and drive it around the entire country. Seriously looks so amazing there. Love this channel and that chicken cooking had me dying!
Good to see a back to basics trip with the old utes. And nothing beats the double entendres when Graham and Shauno do a cooking segment 😂
it is remarkable what ''high level of everything'' you give us in your shows -and with very little of disturbing commercial (or maybe Im blind.. :) thanks from Sweden!
A little tip for you. lay your first layer of that locktite 406 down and wait for it to dry , then drizzle a layer of Bicarbonate of soda over it and drip some more of the locktite onto that (you can repeat that a few times to build a thick layer if you like) but any superglue and Bi Carb makes a rock hard substance that is also super strong ! We use to use it to fix the small piston engines to radio controlled aircraft !
So I got myself a next gen ranger about 6 month ago. I have now decked it out relatively well and planning a big trip. Plans have changed as the big C has come to haunt me so towards the end of the year I will travel around Australia as I have done many times driving road trains now it’s time to relax and have a look at this beautiful country while I still have a chance. Keep up the great work guys your an inspiration to many.
One of the best! Great photography and story lines. Love these videos when the boys go remote. Thanks heaps, you have inspired me to do the Madigan.
Amazing episode guys,
Awesome place and always great to see the three amigos together again..
Keep up the amazing trips guys,
As for the bucket list trip, finally finished building the rig and for the first time ever, hitting both islands, Moreton and Fraser, can’t wait, frothing I get too finally go..
Azza getting over that dune was a good example of “no replacement for displacement”. Epic episode guys 👌
Just awe-inspiring! What a trip so far!
Love the desert since I was a kid. Always wanted to go! Love the flood.
"Sometimes you can buy rubs" 🤣 My kind of people.
Currently got a Fraser trip planned to go for mid january which me and a few boys are absolutely keen as for. Us lads finished high school last year so itll be a good time to get together, enjoy some 4wd'ing and camping at one of the Australia's best spots. Super keen to tick this one off the bucket list! Thanks to the 4wd action boys for showing us what we're missing out on, and getting us keen to get out and see this awesome country 🤙
Planning a Simpson desert trip after watching this! Absoluetly inspired by this run through the Madigan line. Wife and two kids are super excited to see the stars and the proper red dirt. Roof top, coupla swags and a whole bunch of diesel sound just about perfect. An EVCX would do my PX ranger a world of wonders getting on the boost for the 9999 thousand dunes we'll have to climb.
Beautiful episode ! Thank you very much for the great entertainment. 👍👍👍
Saw it, loved it! Can't wait for the next part! 🤙
Awesome video as always 4WD24/7 Crew. This adventure is so awesome the Simpson Desert is so spectacularly beautiful truly God's handy work.
Me and 2 support workers(ism in wheelchair) are planning a trip from Tassie to the horizontal waterfalls in North West Western Australia next year. Can’t wait
Bucket List Trips we are planning are:
1: The Cape, we are in the middle of getting our vehicle upgrades happening for it.
2: Kimberley's
3: Uluru
4: Simpson
5:Exploring more of the North qld Regional
The three amigos back together again is great to see. Omg you guys cooking together are out of control,
I couldn't stop laughing watching you guy's. Love ya work. 😎
