Honestly I was thinking about this too. Doll is very beautiful and we know Devon's past and her "hobby". This would be a great way to off a character we know enough to understand but also give the black beard crew another one and shock due to how they have op powers of teleport invisibility and transformation.
Omg her name is literally Doll. It’s a give-away. She will be playing a Doll for Devon. And Doll is also a term for someone beautiful. And she has a spiked collar, indicating a place where she would be beheaded.

3:46 Devon has me revisiting the character Princess Lulu/Langwidere from author L. Frank Baum (the Oz books). I cannot say whether Oda draws inspiration from this character first introduced in 1907 -- yet if he did, I wonder what can be learned from Langwidere's... idiosyncrasies?
If you've seen the film Return to Oz, Princess Mombi is a combination of book Mombi & book Langwidere.
She "collects" the heads of beautiful women, yet her character does not assume an entire form; instead only exchanging one head for another.
What interests me: those heads keep the personality of their, er, "previous owner." It's not merely disguise.

i feel like that would just render stussy kind of pointless as a character and concept. she hasnt done a whole lot despite being a clone of one of the rocks pirates, so i think she'll still be around after egghead.

The idea of the clones is something deep, if she dies, another chsracter would be needed to develop this. But Stussy is the perfect character for that, since she has problems to accept her own identity as we saw in kuma flashback. I hope oda didnt kill her

I love how this video is about Katerina and doll and it keeps going into "what's blackboard deal?" Classic tekking.
Plot twist: Devon's opponent at the end isn't Nami or Robin, it's Sanji. Her entire life's mission is to destroy what he loves most, beautiful women. He'll finally overcome his crippling weak spot that's been hounding him since the beginning of the series when faced with someone so abhorrent. Even if the fruit's mythical status lets it evade observation haki, if anyone could see through the power it would be him. It'd be amazing to see a panel of him lighting up a cigarette, calmly saying "You're not Nami-swan" and then delivering a wall-shattering kick to her face that forces Devon to reveal herself.
Damn, that actually adds up. Especially considering her power is so similar to Bon-chan's.

Bc Stussy was brought up, i want to bring up this topic again -- at WCI wouldn't Big Mom have known/recognized that Stussy was a clone of Ms. Buckingham, since they were both on the Rox Pirates. I know it seems like a small notion, but it really bothers me knowing that this might've been a potential plot hole by Oda.

Tbh it’s entirely possible that she knew she was a clone and invited her anyway. Even if she is a clone, Big Mom may have formed a connection to this version of Stussy separately and didn’t care that she was a clone of her former crewmate. She could also have a backstory that she sticks to of being the other stussy’s daughter.
And who said big mom dont recognize? It was implied that stussy went to several tea parties, big mom knows about stussy a long time. She knows she is a clone, just that. We didnt also see judge reaction to stussy, but we know that judge know that stussy is a clone
Uh...Lilith is at the Sunny rn. She was carrying the Sunny with Vegaforce-01 before Kizaru destroyed it, and then was given orders to stay with the Sunny while Sanji, Franky, Stella, and Atlas went below to get Luffy and Bonney. So last we saw of Lilith, she's still up top hanging around the Sunny, most likely now with Nami, Usopp, Chopper, Robin, and Jimbe if they also made it back to the Sunny (we haven't seen any of them for a while, but last we knew, they were heading towards the Sunny. Maybe Jimbe stayed behind to be with Zoro, maybe it was Brook, I don't know it's been forever since we got an update on the other Straw Hats).
But no, Lilith is absolutely nowhere close to where Devon could even get at her. She's fine (at least, I hope she stays fine. PLEASE don't let her make the sacrifice play, Oda ;_; If any of the Vegapunks make it out alive, I want Lilith to at least make it out (and also Stella, but only because he is the origin of all the others as well as Punk Records, so I assume if he were to go, then all the satellites would go as well)
Crazy theory (take this with a grain of salt): What if Black Beard is a buccaneer and that is why he can have multiple devil fruit powers at once because there is something about buccaneer physiology that allows them to have more than one devil fruit power at once without dying. Maybe that is why buccaneers were persecuted and hunted to near-extinction because their unique ability to have multiple devil fruit powers (without dying) was seen as a major threat by the World Government, one that they would go out of their way to purge, just like the lunarians, demon giants, three-eye tribe, etc.

Now I like the idea but personally I don’t think any of the Blackbeard Pirates are on Egghead I theorize that in fact the ones who came on the Blackbeard ship were actually Perona & Moria who fled from Hachinosu either that or maybe it has Shiryu who is on the ship making it invisible so the Marines don’t find it so he can pick up Caribou since he knows where Poseidon & Pluton are because he mentioned that he wanted to inform a particular person
Perona and Moria have one big problem. The ship arrived the previous day. Why didn't we hear anything about them, where are they? What were they doing the past day?
Infiltrators seem much more likely than fugitives.
And remember, there are 2 promiment Blackbleard pirates that are neither in Hachinosu nor with Blackbeard right now.
That is also the problem with Shiryu. We saw Garp vs Blackbeatd pirates after we saw the ship on egghead, and there is no indication whatsoever Garp vs Blackbeard pirates happened in the past.

If the BB pirates were here I would have thought they'd make their move before the buster call. We already have so much going on with Bonney, Kuma, Saturn, Kizaru, Luffy, and all the offscreen Strawhats, I just don't see room in the narrative for even more players. I'm thinking whatever the BB pirates came here for, they've already aquired it and split before the heat showed up. Possibly the evacuating scientists who were researching the void century.

Buccaneers are huge. Kuma was compared to the size of Whitebeard. Rocks is not huge. We already saw a image of him by the Yonkos. Not everyone has to be related to a Buccaneer.

Here's hoping Doll is alright, though I doubt Devon would just kill and and copy the appearance of a random female marine, provided she even IS on Egghead, though it's very likely.
About Lafitte, I think he has the mythical Bird-Bird fruit - Model: Siren. Unlike with angels, his arms turn into wings, where as angels have human arms, while their wings are on their backs. Sirens are depicted as birds with female human heads in Greek mythology, similar to harpies, except prettier. Sirens are also infamous for bewitching male sailors with their song, leading them to their doom. What if Lafitte's hypnotic powers are not just hypnosis, like with Jango and Miss Goldenweek, but part of his devil fruit? The Siren fruit would grant flight and endurance like the standard Bird-Bird fruit, but also allow him to bewitch his opponents, using his creepy stare, calm voice, and possibly his tap- dancing routine.

I'm kinda on board with Teach being a Buccaneer. According to Vegapunk, Kuma also has an irregular body. Assuming the standard Buccaneer comes with the same oddity that allows Blackbeard to dual wield fruits, then this could be a major reason why the WG wants the Buccaneer Race under their thumb.

Black Beard being part of JoyBoy’s bloodline, but Luffy embodying the Will of JoyBoy is interesting. Kind of makes me think about how Ace was Roger’s bloodline (being Roger’s biological son), but Luffy embodies the Will of Roger. Even though Roger’s bloodline was snuffed out (Ace’s death), Roger’s Will lives on through Luffy.
i dont think the original people of D were the same bloodline, maybe just comrades who took the names in honor, and the people we know now are the descendants of said comrades. if same bloodline, then roger had a kid with his distant cousin, which is pretty gross.

A. Wanted something or someone thats in a isolated area and alot of characters are returning to or at the labophase
B.laffite and devon got what they wanted on the fabriophase and left during the evening or night b4 the marines arrived
Unless Blackbeard himself or Shiryu is there then that changes things
They could also pull a metal gear and have her hypnotized to think that she’s the actual person

I have a theory that laffite fruit is connected to being a magician (as in real life one). He can manifest things that are normally associated with magicians (doves appearing from nowhere, rabbit of the hat, dissappear, escape artist, etc...)
That would explain the wings and how can he sneak so easily
I knew this one was coming after Tekking mentioned Devon as Doll the other day. But hey, the more background content, the merrier.
Really seem like one piece just turning into full on Pirates v Marines. I know that aspects always been a main premises but really less and less bad blood between crews each arch now, like to think BB crew might actually be of assistance one day
I'm not sure why everyone thinks Blackbeard's ship is still at Egghead. You'd think 100 marine ships surrounding the whole island would have seen it off the coast. I can only imagine BB's ship briefly showed up, did their business off-screen, and dipped before the marines showed up.
I think the black beard pirates already took robin during that York capture time skip thing

My theory is Doll is the daughter of Kizaru.
Only two people in the entire series has addressed Kizaru directly using his real name of Borsalino
1. Akainu when he became fleet admiral.
2. Doll expressed concern and said "Admiral Borsalino" when she argued with Saturns idea of having all the Marines leave the island.
3. Everyone else has only addressed him to his face as Kizaru except those two above.
Kizaru has a very very stern look when he says "Go" and she says "Yes sir!"
Also their personalities are similar in terms of them both being lackadaisical and aloof.
They both are friends with Vegapunk- Doll has a soft spot for children and listened to VP when he asked her to tie giant balloons to her Marine G-14 base to make the giant kids from Punk Hazard feel more at ease.
Her kick looks very Kizaru-esque
Both are very tall
Importantly, their lips look very similar in how Oda draws them.

Kizaru is 58 so he can potentially have a daughter as old as 40 and it check out.

Hey Tekking , speaking of memory... What if in that BB ship there would be Pudding inside .. What if Devon and Laffitte used Pudding's Memo Memo no Mi and "edited" Doll's memories in Devon. I dont quite get how Robin got injuries despite being Atlas,Chopper and her against York and possibly someone else? It would be interesting if Doll is the "Shell" of the imposter but I think Devon and Laffitte are getting Caribou back and probably kill him or capturing him after getting infos...Another plot hole unsolved Is the mysterious person or ally that Vegapunk hides.. We dont know anything about this person... Maybe its Devon transformed but Its too unknown..
9:38 I don't think that Black Beard is a buccaneer, look at the difference in height between him and Kuma. Kuma is 22'7", whereas BB is like 11'3", which now that I notice is almost exactly half as much as Kuma. mmmmmmm... maybe BB is like only half buccaneer? I developed this thought as I was writing this comment.

The mythical nine-tailed fox did not have to kill a person in order to take on its appearence so it really wouldn't make sense if Devon had to do it. Especially since all Bon Clay had to do was touch the person and he could turn into them, and allegedly Devons transformation power is an upgraded version of that (albeit "baked into" another devil fruit)

You say that Nami or Robin will fight Devon but those two already have fairly clear opponent's amongst the titanic captains (Laffitte and Kuzan respectively).
