Zoro got bloodthirsty af when he capped those bounty hunters
artydomi zoro was badass as hell though!!!!!!
Sorta he did enjoy beating their asses however kitetsu had a mind of it's own when zoro 1st used it and it did cuts and slashes without zoro giving that kind of command
old star hat pirates used to be blood thirsty from zoro wiping out a town to sanji straight up killing the troubles
People forget that Zoro and Robin both have killed a lot of people
As soon as his theme dropped, they were done for
Since One Piece came out to Netflix, been getting my roommates into it, just finished up whiskey peak last night
Lol me too zoro went crazy
When Zoro confronts Baroque Works is definitely in my top ten most menacing & chilling scenes in OP. Even in the dub too, when he looks down on them in and calls them out...we see the killer side of Zoro which made him famous throughout the East Blue.
Dan Terle I think you looking at that the wrong way.
Can’t wait for the moment when Barry fights against brick zoro
I mean, Zoro was clearly able to cut steel... but would he be able to cut brick? Ohoh boy, I dont think so
Barry vs Pica confirmed
Mati303s that gonna be his last enemy , brick god .
@@guilhermemsm6141 Imagine Barry cladded in armament haki, that would be tougher than a poneglyph
“I’m a Brick-Brick Man! Your swords can’t slice through me, FOOL! Now die!”
well, on the thousands of "cactus spikes" people usually dont sail with just 5 crewmates
The greatest connection.
Wonderful to realize after watching this is that, Robin was in the first Island of Grandline, which signifies that she is the key for the last Island of the Grandline Laugh Tale. What a connection!
Barry would start off as fireballs mascot but in a week he will own the company
From mascot to majority shareholder, the ultimate promotion.
You underestimate Barry’s power
When i was a kid, i dont know how i survived, at five years old, the first time i could, i went to my grandmothers cactus and hugged it.... I had needles all over me, it was painful
ua-cam.com/video/-TGGYVxSBGU/v-deo.html
@@siriuslyorion2975 slight correction: i was a moron :p
@@jasonbertram4960 I don't know you well enough to take you at your word
Kaido is still a duck according to Google.
4:10 there was actually a line in chapter 69, I think, where they mentioned that some people called the grand line a paradise
I think I remember that line but iirc it was set up that its paradise because people loved the challenge that much, not because it's easy compared to something else.
zeff was the one who said it, iirc.
I can just imagine tekking going to buy whiskey must be tough
I bet he got carded twice
The first time he tried to buy liquor this guy rushed in to rob the store and he stopped him with his face. Real hometown hero shit.
Weston Evans lol
Im mad that out of all the whiskeys he could pick, he chose fireball lmao
Hey, Tekking. Maybe a video on Baroque Works in general could be interesting.
11 supernovas, 7 routes (excluding kenzin island, sky islands, and zoro & killer being the second in commands)
I stepped on a Cacti when I was a kid. My mom proceeded to take every single individual needle out of my foot. 8.5/10 on the traumatic scale
A) As others have said, most pirate crews have more members than the Straw Hats - just one of Krieg's surviving fleet had quite a lot of people, though perhaps he might've been on the higher end.
B) Confirmed in SBS 78 [Corazon's Newspaper in Ch 762]: Crocodile moved to Alabasta when he was 30, which gives him 4-14 years to build up Baroque Works (4 being when he hired Robin).
~
Anyways, good stuff as always~
That town looks like Gerudo's Valleys design in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Never touched a stinging cactus on purpose, i just let my guard down. The back of my hand hated me after that.
Same with stinging nettles, but that was my palm
The MOON IS MASSIVE - ENEL HAS HIS SCHWING MOMENT !!!!
Rewatching all of one piece and whiskey peak is low key one of my favorite sagas
Dude I’ve been watch you for years and I still love your content
Me watching Igarams ship blowing up: "Oh shit, he's dead"
Me seeing Igaram wlking around in Alabasta: "How the f did he survive?"
must'a...jumped into the water.... and swam all the way to alabasta......... hmmmm
Im guessing Robin just didnt kill him
Robin use his devil fruit power to drag igarama to ocean. Also mr 5 do explosion.
[laughs in Pell]
@@momodevilukesjuicyasscheeks his?! Robin's a she
I had always assumed that Whisky Peak was a town founded by bounty hunters for the specific purpose of picking off newbie pirates. Then Baroque Works co-opted it.
Tekking well on his way to grow into Lao G "THERES THE CONNECTION"
Watching through the Netflix dubs again, and i got through the Whiskey Peak arc last night! Great timing!
Hey tekking! I actually don't know much about rhe earlier arcs of one piece! I was lucky enough I started the manga liferally the chapter luffy wakes up on the beach in wano! Also I hope you see this, because I also want to know you're helping me get through these trying times, the cringe, the info, and of course GEOGRAPHY! so I'm sure on behalf of all the fandom, thank you so much for all the videos you do! They're sooo informative and have helped me and others catch up! Thank you so much tekking101
I'd love to see tekking have a One Piece discussion while getting drunk. That would be hilarious
Why hasn't he done that by now?
@@WhiteCaneV1 because barry wouldn't let him drink at work
I think it would be interesting if we ever got a geography datebook or something to learn that the cactus mountains are a grand line version of a natural distillery, where whisky flows from the peaks like cactus juice. kind of like a missing member of the Totland archipelago
The Luffy and Katakuri scene where they knock out Flampe always reminds me of this scene with Luffy and Zoro basically passively insulting bugger man and kilo girl.
DAMN IT!! That moon face gave me a jump scare! LOL!
Omg a geography video for my break.. hell yeah gamer.
Matt, I live in Texas. Everyone here has been pricked by a patch cactus!
Whiskey peak is one of my favorite small arcs
Dude legit crazy because I started the series over and I just finished whiskey peak. Literally on the episode with the giant dolphin.
Memorable moments there
Geography is everything the only video that could rock the globe multiple times.
im happy you were on my recommended
I love your Shirt 👕 Tekking!!!🔥
Geography is everything. 🌎
I just want you all to remember that Nami can outdrink Zoro that is all
She can outdrink me xP
When I saw what island he was covering in this video I thought it was hilarious. The reason for that is recently Netflix just got one piece and where I got up to today was the very Island he is talking about. So I just found it extremely hilarious and cosmically is well.
Good job matt
I have cacti on the same side where I leave my water at night and I have, plenty of times in a drowsy state, reached for my water only to pet a cactus
Dming is a ton of fun definitely give it a try
Do you think you can make more one piece what-ifs like what if Sabo never lost his memory when Dragon found him or what if Shanks never lost his left arm but used haki too scared to take King before it got to Luffy
gerardo covarrubias how would the shanks thing change the story? Good idea I agree with that though, I’d like what if shanks never stoped kaido from going to the war
@@milkyways_2413 It would change alot actually, Shank slost hes arm to teach luffy the dangers of the seas because luffy wanted to follow them on the journey. If shanks didn't lose has arm luffy would've ended up following him before he was ready and obviously that would be a completely different story lmao, also because of this luffy decided to stay and declare he would get strong and set out on he's own wanting to become the pirate king so shanks gives him he's hat as a promise now what is one piece with out the iconic hat?
What if's are so lame
Before the age if pirates though, being super close to the Red Line would be a major advantage. I bet Baroque Works took over over time.
As a resident of southern Arizona I've had my fair share of cactus encounters. I've smacked my led into a barrel cactus before, that's not too bad though because barrel cactus thorns kinda curve inward. Worst cactus though and I think any ones whose encountered it will agree, jumping cholla. They will somehow find their way on to you, they hurt, and they are hard to remove. It's basically just a ball of thorns.
Another Tekking video is added to the cactus rocks tonight.
2:30 I once tried to take a cactus flower...
That flower cost me a few days of immense pain
Ps: don't judge me for my awful english, I'm brazilian my days are awful by themselves
Nice vid just finished it
2:40 man you sure digged into that cactus
I’ve stepped on a nickel cactus a couple times. They grow along the ground each section is more the size of a half dollar coin or bigger, but the spikes are long and will go all the way through the sole of your shoe.
Speaking of Crocodile's secret, you should do a video on the top unsolved One Piece mysteries/theories
Only Tekking would go buy something irrelevant to make a video. Best youtuber ever.
Think back to the time when my first search began i left behind those shores of sand for the endless ever lasting world out there
*Tekking* _Slight_ _Correction_ Even way back in chapter 69, Zeff already told Luffy that Grandline has been referred to by some people as "Paradise".
My geography is everything hoodie just shipped.
Bro your shirt is mad dope
I think tekking should keep up the geography is everything series even after one piece ends just with different mangas/animes
Once I was in the middle of a party and fell in a little cactus garden, needless to say I went to bed after that
The bounty hunter town existed before Baroque Works it was like that for a long time even during Roger’s early adventures Crocodile just incorporated it into his organization
OMG! Yes. It happened to me too. When I was 2 I had never seen a cactus up close in my life and didn't really know what it was. One day my mother took me to her friends house who had one of those really nice cacti that seems to have thin "fluffy" hairs on top and I....hugged it with my hands. #AboslutelyNothing happened after that.
The fire ball tho my boi I love it
Love Ur bids
Matthew what would we do without thee !🥺 geography lord and one piece sensei
Ive come in contact with a cacti before
I tried to tag my friend, but I tagged a cactus
The cactus won
Leaving me wounded with 5000 needles in my hand and wrist
i never got stabbed by one im my whole fuckin life
If you think about it since Crocodile was a Warlord at the time, the world government would have probably been supportive of him turning in wanted pirates. Granted pirates can’t turn on other pirates, but given his status he may have been able to. Or even if the Word Government knew, they would probably turn a blind eye anyway since it stops potential threats right from the start.
Whiskey peak's setting is my favorite setting in all of one piece, the full moon setting, zoro's badassery the action, everything about the arc is amazing, whiskey peak is my third favorite arc in One Piece
Mountain biking with my dad through a local desert area, his bike slipped and he fell on a cactus. It was hilarious because he got pricked like in the cartoons. Yes. With many spines stuck on his butt
Bangs for days cool name for a band
Tekking drinking live stream? That would be one for the ages.
I found out recently while rereading that Zeff did tell Luffy that "some people call Grand Line a paradise"
0-13 oof reminds me of M when anyone says "bangs" or has a fringe :(
0-47 whiskey also reminds me of her. But only more recently as she only started drinking in december :(
6-00 Whiskey ;-;
16-19 Zoros a beast
30-23 oof
No paradise is first mentioned in chapter 69 by Zeff
Just one thing about the gravestones, if the island is called Cactus island, the gravestones probably were there before the bounty hunters.
The probable tens of thousands of graves on those mountains really changes my thoughts on Vivi and Igaram. I highly doubt every single one of those was some wicked criminal, and even if they were all pirates (which I don't believe), that is still a frankly massive loss of life. I don't know how long that town's been there or how long Vivi and Igaram have been working there, but the probability that they have had a direct hand in the murder of thousands of people really changes things.
They probably have a lot of downtime between pirate arrivals, making the graves sounds a lot more fun when you're bored to death
After you do Long Ring Long Land you could start doing the movie islands and filler islands. Im sire you could get a pretty decent video out of Shikis island
It depends a lot on the cactus. Some have multi pronged spines that are a bitch to remove. The one I smacked my arm against was pretty mild, the spines didn't even break off so I only got a bunch of stinging needle pricks.
Geography+whiskey+shenanigans: Whiskey Tribe, recomended
23:07 well there are many moons in the one piece world (like 7), and some are probably very close to the planet (cuz reaching them is rather easy) , thats why that moon size is probably normal in one piece.
6:49 is the true face of fear 😂
If tekking is getting a haircut then so does Barry if he goes any more hair he’s going to go into Super Saiyan three
Really can't wait for Long ring long land
As a Mongolian myself, the inspiration Oda took from Mongolians and the Nomadic culture for the island really made me excited and then Foxy showed up 😒😓
I live in southern California, and my grandparents had their entire front yard as nothing but cactus. I am intimately familiar with getting stabbed by cactus spines.
Oh my Mat, you're very erudite with your vocabulary in today's video
You should do a video on karasu and his potential powers
19:21 It could simply be that Whiskey Peak always was a nest of ruthless Bounty Hunters (Dead or Dead, we don't do the Alive thing here) and Baroque Works just took it over completely.
21:41 Or that.
27:29 Funfact about the german dub: They renamed "Miss All-Sunday" to "Miss Bloody Sunday"...
Time Travelers once spoke of a Legendary video titled. Geography is Everything : Elbaf
Fireball ! My favourite drink lol
every so often I will see the thumbnail of a video and think, "Realy? You haven't done a video on that yet?" Its like a weird version of dejavu
well if Don Creek is anything to go by, some pirate Crews could number a couple hundred people.
Where the One Piece Movies at :(
Excited for the Duck lol
Goated
"Who's watching this and doesn't know about Whiskey Peak." *Looks around nervously*
Tekking using your cut bangs make a wig for Barry.
Once I straight up grabbed a cactus because I was invited to a birthday party and they were giving out cacti as party favours wrapped in bags. It hurt so bad -.-
I ran into a cactus at night in the rain while doing doordash. My pants leg got was stapled my pants till I got home. It hurts worse in the rain for some reason
I live in Arizona, the desert part, cactus pricks are a rite of passage.
Are your houses really made of clay like Trekking claims ?
@@anonymous14 actually, yes. But not all of them.
This island has a lot of hidden history just based on those grave stones ranging from a town with a history of being bounty hunters or a town devestated by a slow plague (heck it might’ve been a town of the occult and that was part of their belief to bury the dead on their mountains) or heck, the town was long abandoned due to pirates and the grave stones are from the dead from pirate raids the survivors buried but the great pirate era killed them all with the large influx of pirates
Also, the town could easily just be a town of bounty hunters when turning in bounty’s to the marines which I can imagine is somewhat common for example
“hello, I’m from the town of Whiskey Peak”
“Ah, that town of bounty hunters, you people do good work turning in all these pirates”
“Yup, now where’s the money?”
“Just a sec...”
I love when you play dnd
