Same here I thought it was just tics that would gradually go away with THERAPY and time but no didn't happen that way! And people still claim I'm faking when offline off camera right now I'm still TICING likeeeee.... how do you explain that????! It makes me sick that people say I'm faking when I thought it was my TWO NEUROLOGISTS that diagnosed to me I thought it was THEM! Oh but no people online want to be my doctors and say I'm faking and I don't have a diagnosis mmmmmm K👍😂

That’s so unfair I’m so sorry it looks like such an incredibly difficult thing to work with and I’m sorry you have to deal with skeptical people claiming you’re faking it when they have no right to point out what is and isn’t Tourette’s, stay strong
Use it to your advantage, door to door salesmen will quickly disappear and not bother you. I sure wouldn't worry about what other people have to say, because they don't have to deal with it. Bless you, stay strong. 👍😉😉😉

i started having tics when i was 12 this year in april 2024 im 13 now but they got worse since my cat died in june 2024 also you start developing tics at any age tics isnt just about swearing and stuff tics are different for everyone but not everyone
tics are caused by
Stress: Anxiety, excitement, confrontation, or feeling nervous (anxiety which i have then i get excited easily)
Other conditions: Tics are often associated with other conditions, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (autism which i have)
Environmental and behavioral factors: Different settings or activities, or negative or positive consequences
Genetics: Tics can run in families, and there's likely to be a genetic cause in many cases
I was diagnosed in August and I'm 13..I've had tics since I was 7 and they got worse when I was 10. People thought I was possessed sometimes. Its severe as well. I am being bullied in school cuz of it and my other disabilities..

My sister actually has ticks and her ticks get worse when she’s nervous but she started on this medicine and she hasn’t done tix ever since she was probably 10 she is 14 now unless she’s very nervous I am proud of her❤

What are tics
Tics are involuntary movements and sounds that people experience when they have a tic disorder like Tourette syndrome, they can not control these tics and it can be really hurtful and annoying
reminds me of the time I had seizures from when I was 10-12 years old I think..
Yeah that it not how tourettes works. It don't come over night. Symtoms starts around 7 years old. So stupid
I'm sorry that you have Tics, but you can use it to your advantage, if someone is bothering you, you can always explode, and they will go away.
