H/H match update: ... These updates are starting to sound like a broken record (does anyone still use that expression?)... Well, yet another new champion chooses Richard. He has now played 14 of the last 15 H/H matches (and improved his accuracy score by matching 6 of those 14 times). He's nearly a full percentage point ahead of Brett currently (but about 6 percentage points behind Charles and 9 behind Betty). "_________ Pink" I would have said hot pink. The contestant and Richard had different thoughts. No match today. I feel bad that Betty and Charles seem to get no recognition for their superior track records when it comes to actually matching the contestants for the big money. Also, this is Bobby's very last week on the show, so I was hoping he could get another shot (he's been chosen three times and matched once in the past). Well, there's always tomorrow, he says optimistically... Here's the updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (4 wins in 4 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Fannie - 50% (9 wins in 18 attempts). Betty - 48.4% (15 wins in 31 attempts). Charles - 45.2% (19 wins in 42 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 39.0% (119 wins in 305 attempts). Brett - 38.3% (18 wins in 47 attempts). Bert Convy - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 554, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
I thought possibly they would have to have thrown out the Yul Gibbons question, since Sarah was telling Gene who he was, and she mentioned hickory nuts, which was obviously a potential answer. I guess it really didn't matter since Lynn didn't know who he was. She must have been the only one back then, 🤣🤣. I said sap. And can I just say that I just adored Charles in this episode. He was hilarious.
I didn't know that. Thanks. I love knowing backstage stuff. .... while writing this I heard them say they're trying to get Bobby to return to Broadway...lol
I'm a bit of a history buff, and I'm shocked (pink!) that nobody thought of WWII. Both Gene and Richard were veterans, and Richard starred in Hogan's Heroes!
I did not know Who Yul Gibbons was Until I started watching the show! I do remember those stupid commercials because I used to say others that dumb guy! LOL! He cut his finger and sap came out
@@thomasedward1319 Once that show was over, Richard acted like he was ashamed of it. Don't know why, but anytime that subject came up, he clammed up, not saying anything.
Before the contestant gave her answer, the panel and Gene said “hickory nuts” at least 5 times. Then Some of the people on panel gave hickory nuts as answer. Now if the contestant would have given hickory nuts as her answer... that would have been unfair to the other contestant.
This is so random - I was Googling Helen Hayes to see if Lynn was related to her, and found that Helen Hayes' son, James MacArthur, was married to Joyce Bulifant from 1958-1968! Small world.

Another example of how awesome Richard Dawson can be. So compassionate.
CNR "Well let's call the newspaper..this is some story." Great timing.

That was hilarious! 😅
I love how it made Richard laugh.
I love it. I remember as a kid, the sarcastic response to a lame or boring story was pretty much the same: "I'll alert the media!"
Charles is a trip.
CNR was on fire tonight!! Hilarious 😂
He really was "on" tonight. Hilarity ensued.
Love that Sarah Kennedy

I looked her up , it said she’s a raciest. I knew there was something not right.
Richard with the perfect save! The more I see him not in a scripted role the more I admire his talent and compassion. 💛👏👏😍

Just for the record, it was Euell
Notice Betty's card at 0:14 to "Watch Password." It had already been canceled at this point, replaced by Bobby Van's Showoffs!
I didn't know that. Thanks. I love knowing backstage stuff.

Yes
I'm a bit of a history buff, and I'm shocked (pink!) that nobody thought of WWII. Both Gene and Richard were veterans, and Richard starred in Hogan's Heroes!
Not a fan of Missy. I'm glad Richard called her out on cheering for Lynn's wrong matches.
Pretty in pink.
Did everything but give her the answer she still didn't get it that wouldn't of been fair to the one that did win
WHAT??? Nobody said, "World War"????

I truly love the "FANTASTIC THREE" (RCHARD, CHARLES, BRETT) OH I MISSED Betty to.😍😍😍😍😍
Betty is so beautiful. She had to be near sixty.
Early 50s on this episode. Betty was born in December 1922.
@@wadesuhr January 17th, 1922! SADLY, she passed away on New Year's Eve, just 17 days shy of her 100th birthday
So Charles is rough with da chicks ... I miss "Chuck"
World war 2 I'm surprised Richard didnt come up with that since he was on Hogan heroes

Charles was a gentleman; it was 'Chuck' who was rough. ; )
@@deanstrand4260 I've noticed that, too. I wonder if he was trying to distance himself from Bob Crane.
I love Charles

I thought sap was a good answer
Lynn was never seen again...😂
🤣🤣🤣 That poor girl, they had her crying over the Euel Gibbons question.
After the way she snubbed and made rude faces at her previous contestant, I thought Karma was paying her a quick visit.
That's what she gets for being snooty to the other contestant when she won. Karma will get you

I wonder if Lynn became an actress, or if she was related to Helen Hayes.

CNR: I punch em n throw em on the floor 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Gene raeburn the greatest game show host of all time
Cannot believe no one said World War II!
Am I the only one that thinks missy looks exactly like Eve Plum AKA Jan Brady? Sarah Kennedy is so sweet she could give me diabetes
Missy is prettier.
Lynn is cute. Missy can you put on any more clothes?
17:00 Margaret Kirkpatrick looks like Chef Giada De Laurentiis
Carnation Pink
That was a tough one to match.
Panelists:
1. Bobby Van

Besides being Jack Klugmans wife, why was motor mouth Brett a celebrity and what is she known for?🤔
