This game has been out for a week, and everything in it fundamentally works (now they've fixed the loot spawn problems) For example, the zombies actually pose a threat and don't fly through walls like the fucking hulk, you can actually find friendly people since guns aren't all over the place, you can craft bases and board up houses, these are the type of things DayZ should of had on release after /1/ year of development,but it didn't and it never will. H1Z1 will be the better game, and is the better game.

Totally agree with you Frankie, we've spent that £15 in the first place in order to test the game, it's stupid that we then need to pay micro-transactions NOW in order to test other features of the game out. Honestly in that sense, a game like that screams to me money grabbing bastards only interested in one thing, but the developers do engage with the community really well and the constant updates in such a short amount time is great, however there is still a bitter taste left there

Essentially we are all game testers for this game, yet in order to test other features out we need to spend more money in order to test those features. H1Z1 they promised that the loot drops woudn't have fucking guns in them. Now they do. And what do i see, people just trowing there hard earned money at them. Ricky Pye Thing is, this has been an issue for a few years. Games get rushed and as long as people buy it the companys will attempt to fix it with a patch. Bear in mind "Attempt" since most games are still very badly broken after the fact. This whole early access thing was a good idea at first, but steam even backs the companys they dont HAVE to finish their game, they just cant claim the game currently has content in it that it does not[WarZ is an example] I think allowing people to get refunds would fix this, they pay $20 for early access get a refund but if they wana play again lets say the price increases to 40 they'll lose out

I've decided to keep away from buying online survival zombie games if they can't answer two simple questions : - Is there a point to continue playing once you find a shit ton of bullets and a decent gun? - Can you actually enjoy this game while playing alone if you have no friends to play it with? I don't think H1z1 should be free. Paying for early access, Aka Alpha is fine. Having it switched to f2p when released? I can't help but have mixed feelings. Firstly it will invite many unwanted trolls, why not just keep it at 20 dollars/ euro? (pretty cheap compared to most games). Secondly, for players that did in fact pay for early access, having it f2p is ridiculous. Either make it free for anyone ( including alpha ) or just sell it. I personally think its defiantly worth the 20. People who just choose to play alpha help the devs and support the project none the less. So players must PAY to help a project that will eventually be f2p? lol. These aren't indie developers.

Oh and BR tickets costs money because a completely separate dev (Who made Arma 3 BR) is incharge of it and Sony had to buy the license from the dev. Hold control when clicking and dragging and it will move to your bag one at a time, its a well known UI bug. You don't have to pay for tickets right now during Early access as stated by the devs. You can accumulate tickets in-game through looting. The game runs 20 times better than DayZ and its been a week.... Ill stick with this one thank you very much.
Another tip, i played with a couple friends the other day and we called in three airdrops, and guess what, NONE HAD GUNS. We got fertilizer and a spear and some arrows and a crowbar so all of you people that continuously talk shit and say its P2W should just go play DayZ we don't want you in the game that is WAY BETTER and will probably wipe the floor with Dayz in a a year or two.
Qrows On early access release it was, but they changed it so that the chance of actually getting the loot in an airdrop is very slim. Even if you do get the loot, the chance of finding a gun is rather unlikely.

+๖JAGGER Nope, everyone's interested in the battle Royale part, they spilt the game in two . Survival and battle. Survival is basically dead. So the game is mostly pvp.
It's VERY HARD to play this game at the moment. The loot sucks ass, you have to open containers and it's awfully boring (imagine a building with 10 apartments and 10 containers inside each apartment. And opening each container takes two seconds), the PvP is bugged (bows shoot without the proper animations, you get stuck when hit by arrows and other melee hits) and, finally, the ONLY fun part about the game IMHO is the Battle Royale. Too bad it costs you real money to play a round... it's a game with potential but SOE will kill it, eventually.
BattleNex Well considering that just about every item in the game is essential at the moment, meaning the only things that really spawn are things you NEED to live such as food, water, cloth for bandages, etc. Yeah I think maybe YOU should read up on what is actually in the game right now. I HATE! micro transaction games. Why should they allow people to buy items?. I mean Frankie just bought an air drop, got a weapon, anyone else who can't pay 5 dollars is at an instant disadvantage. Buying items other people need to work for, for hours is not fair in anyway, we work hours gearing up, someone just spawns buys a create and shoot you in the face instantly after only 15 minutes. What's the point?.
At the moment just buy DayZ. It is ten dollars more than Early Access H1Z1 but H1Z1 will be free on release date. Plus DayZ currently has more stuff and more things to do. Oh and there aren't any pay to win features.

This game is solid and good looking. Unfortunately this game has the same problem as a lot of other SURVIVAL games. KOS (kill on sight) is still such a big problem and that's why this game sometimes is completely unplayable.

I've decided to keep away from buying online survival zombie games if they can't answer two simple questions :
- Is there a point to continue playing once you find a shit ton of bullets and a decent gun?
- Can you actually enjoy this game while playing alone if you have no friends to play it with?

I don't think H1z1 should be free. Paying for early access, Aka Alpha is fine. Having it switched to f2p when released? I can't help but have mixed feelings. Firstly it will invite many unwanted trolls, why not just keep it at 20 dollars/ euro? (pretty cheap compared to most games). Secondly, for players that did in fact pay for early access, having it f2p is ridiculous. Either make it free for anyone ( including alpha ) or just sell it. I personally think its defiantly worth the 20. People who just choose to play alpha help the devs and support the project none the less. So players must PAY to help a project that will eventually be f2p? lol. These aren't indie developers.
trev OP totally agree with it attracting unwanted trolls, mostly kids. I've yet to play it myself, it looks fun and promising, currently have no friends though, that will play it. Approaching end of April I'm not sure when this game will be released and f2p. I don't want to pay 20 euro for it to be released soon. I do want to play it tho. Sigh.

True frankie, why on earth do people pay for BR tickets/airdrops in early access? Thats the only thing they should completely remove. But apart from that, this game looks solid.

If so I think its completely absurd for someone to pay for it. Anyone who does is totally idiotic. And I think the devs made it so that way for that reason.
Oh and BR tickets costs money because a completely separate dev (Who made Arma 3 BR) is incharge of it and Sony had to buy the license from the dev. So it makes sense that they are charging for it separately. But again its absurd if you pay 1 time for 1 BR ticket. Blame the dev not Sony.

Hold control when clicking and dragging and it will move to your bag one at a time, its a well known UI bug. You don't have to pay for tickets right now during Early access as stated by the devs. You can accumulate tickets in-game through looting. The game runs 20 times better than DayZ and its been a week.... Ill stick with this one thank you very much.
Another tip, i played with a couple friends the other day and we called in three airdrops, and guess what, NONE HAD GUNS. We got fertilizer and a spear and some arrows and a crowbar so all of you people that continuously talk shit and say its P2W should just go play DayZ we don't want you in the game that is WAY BETTER and will probably wipe the floor with Dayz in a a year or two.
H1Z1 alpha is better and has more content then Dayz alpha

It's VERY HARD to play this game at the moment. The loot sucks ass, you have to open containers and it's awfully boring (imagine a building with 10 apartments and 10 containers inside each apartment. And opening each container takes two seconds), the PvP is bugged (bows shoot without the proper animations, you get stuck when hit by arrows and other melee hits) and, finally, the ONLY fun part about the game IMHO is the Battle Royale. Too bad it costs you real money to play a round... it's a game with potential but SOE will kill it, eventually.
So should all loot go to your inventory the second you see it lol? logic plz Maybe you should read up more on h1z1 and Rust.

I HATE! micro transaction games. Why should they allow people to buy items?. I mean Frankie just bought an air drop, got a weapon, anyone else who can't pay 5 dollars is at an instant disadvantage. It's unfair, not a game that gives RP because as soon as they air drops appear it's an automatic battle to the death. Buying items other people need to work for, for hours is not fair in anyway, we work hours gearing up, someone just spawns buys a create and shoot you in the face instantly after only 15 minutes. What's the point?.

At the moment just buy DayZ. It is ten dollars more than Early Access H1Z1 but H1Z1 will be free on release date. Plus DayZ currently has more stuff and more things to do. Oh and there aren't any pay to win features.

This game is solid and good looking. Unfortunately this game has the same problem as a lot of other SURVIVAL games. KOS (kill on sight) is still such a big problem and that's why this game sometimes is completely unplayable.

Its a mechanic because this game will be F2P when it releases. They probably want feedback on what would be good microtransactions and what is game breaking. People don't have to buy them, but if they do, its gives them data/money on what people like.
