I have been doing web development since 1995 and have some observations:
    1. Surprised took Google so long to replace Yahoo. I had switched to Google in 2000 because the results were better
    2. Yahoo probably briefly regained the lead after it became more of a content company.
    3. MSN was always big due to default home page for IE which of course was default browser for Windows
    4. Surprised AOL hung in there until 2013

Suggestion to the channel’s development team: sometimes you get a bit lost in the relative movement of the bars, when some are growing slower than others and, even though they are still growing, they start to shrink. You could display another dimension of data by putting the growing numbers in blue and the falling ones in red, or put an up or down arrow beside them (I’d prefer the colors, though). Thanks

I suspect a lot of Google's growth was artificial and then by manipulating statistics, they pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, so to speak. Nowadays, the growth has slowed as people are looking for alternative search engines that don't track their every move. In case you missed it, the last couple months of 2019 is seeing a steep decline in UA-cam and FakeBook. What does this tell you? *There actually are other video sites out there* that don't punish their creators and viewers with some arbitrary ever-changing set of rules and algorithms that do nothing but confuse and disgust their users. It's about to get worse with the new COPPA regulations coming into effect. Watch this site tank after 12/10/19.😐
