You all probably dont care but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Bruno Ricky thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I know there are probably more popular channels on UA-cam, and I realized that Pearl Jam has a special place in many people's hearts. but I love this channel, and Pearl Jam has always been the soundtrack to my life. I very much appreciate your work, change nothing.
This video enabled me to impress my mother at our recent family camping trip. I am very happy to be able to play a song that is over double my age old. Thank you
Bro this is great. I like how you talk about “mimicking” parts, that’s exactly how I like to approach acoustic versions 👍🏼👍🏼 it can’t be note-for-note (especially when there are pedal effects), you just get the essence of it.
Man this is amazing years and years of watching guitar videos this is the first in a long time that made me want to pick up and play. great performance and a great vibe
@@RyanLendt Robert is so right. Right now its 4:30 in the morning and i cant sleep. All i want right now is to grab my guitar and start to learn this song. But i cant. My daughter is sleeping : D. Thx a lot Ryan. U rock big time.
Lol dude I wonder how many of your subs even know what you’re talking about when you referenced Adam Sandler’s version lol The 90s man! I miss those time a lot! And now that I’m stoned, if you had longer hair you’d kinda look like Opera Man a little bit!
Ryan Lendt nah dude thank you for your time and videos. Not gonna lie, I wasn’t expecting you to have such great content and playing and great taste in music haha Had to sub!
Great Lesson Ryan. Trying to learn it. Couple of pointers 1. Looks like you are doing some palm muting effect in your initial riff which you did not explain. 2. You generally do not explain the rhythm part ( strumming patterns etc ) on your tutorial which sometimes becomes hard to figure out by watching the tutorial. You have helped me in learning many Pearl Jam songs and I thank you very much for that.
Greetings FB - you're right, I generally don't... i like to spend time on the strumming if it's crucial for getting the essence of the song. But if it's not, not explaining the strumming is my way of saying "strum however you want" because the strum is where you put the "you" in the performance. Pick your favorite strumming pattern, and do that one. I know that makes some people uncomfortable... I'm trying to develop your willingness to suck, which is a very important part of the learning process :)
Wow! The dude has only gone and done it!! You sir..........are a legend! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! You make learning these songs so easy with your enthusiasm and craziness!! Top man!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 #smashedit!!
It's really neat to watch the break down on these songs. How it's all put together, to see how technical each song gets. It puts things into a different perspective for sure. Thanks for the upload Ryan!
This is awesome. Both entertaining and informative to see you play the same song in a completely different style and position. Thanks for the great content.
Awesome and I'm glad I found your channel. I like the way you teach. There are a lot of good instructors on YT, but I don't need to have someone show me how to play a simple C or D chord in every single video.
indeed, I go on the assumption that one can figure out that one can google how to play a C chord if they don't know already. Cheers L - thanks for the shout and for hanging out :)
Very cool. My advice for smaller hands: Play the b flat in the "E major shape" on the 6th fret. You can also throw in the "stone note" (pinky on 4th string, 10th fret) and the open e string. Much easier for me...
Subbed. Your playing and knowledge impresses the heck out of me. I don't know how I came across your channel. I think it popped up in suggested vids. Anyway, glad it did. I really enjoy watching you play and the lessons.
Wow. Always love watching your videos and every now and again there’s a little gem of a video. Well today you’ve done it again. Fantastic. I’ve wanted to play this for so long but found it so hard to play plus the retuning I gave up. Fab. Thanks Ryan.
Ridiculously Awesome! Ryan should host his own version of Alpine Valley in his backyard and we can all come play PJ campfire tunes as he conducts... I enjoyed this one... and Cropduster of course.. thanks again.
Just discovered your channel. Awesome lessons, and fun too! You're like my Pearl Jam reference just like The Cantrell Project is my AIC reference. You deserve more subs for sure. Keep up the good work, I appreciate it!
Thanks Blade! It's really a Bbadd9 or sus 2 - so you could play x13311 - same notes, with a slightly different effect since you hear that second Bb octave in there when you do it. Or you could just skip it :)
Good cover, but Am7 sounds better than Am imo You don't need the C chord either. Chorus can be [x04232] > [x00232] > G/C5 > Bb5 Ev - - - - - - - - en - - - - - - Flo - - ow The C/G5 is optional
Hi. Beautiful arrangement and song. Unfortunately when you do G1 pull to open and D3 pull to open I can’t get it to sound properly. Is there a note you play before it? Thank you
sure, but then we could just play the regular riff, and that's getting too far away from being unique enough to make a video about :) You should combine however you like David - thanks!
I love this guy’s tutorials, they’re always so easy to follow
thanks jace
6 minutes! Straight forward, no BS! This is how to teach! Awesome!
The guitar lesson I didn't know I needed lmaoo

That 5 fret finger stretch on the low end of the neck is quite impressive.
why thank you!
Very easy to learn, even for older dudes such as myself. Thank you my man, I've always loved this song.
I'm so very glad this was here for you - thanks for hanging out JR!
I’m gonna have to say that’s my favourite campfire so far, excellent work Mr Lendt 🌟

"B flat, that's the worst part of this situation"
Basically my whole life
abolish Bb!
Yes! Learning this immediately. I'm glad you followed through with this when you played it on the livestream.
oh yes, it went immediately onto the WHEEL OF DESTINY :)

Great version Ryan.
For the verse I find a D to Cadd9 (muted D string), leaving out the Am, also works well.
right, so you get the A note but not so much of the D-ness of it. nice idea thanks OB :)
Very cool. My advice for smaller hands: Play the b flat in the "E major shape" on the 6th fret. You can also throw in the "stone note" (pinky on 4th string, 10th fret) and the open e string. Much easier for me...

How did I miss this one! It was great!
yay!
Amazing love it! 90's are back!!

They never left this old dog!!
Mind blown, absolutely friggin amazing!
thanks Wade!
Thank you so much!! I'm a huge pearl jam fan and cant wait to get home to learn this!!
woo hoo! good luck Zach :)
I loved it on the live stream and I love it here! It’s fantastic mate, thanks for saving me the trouble of requesting it.
I'm so glad you enjoyed that oh Sam I am :)
thats what i needed
i was struggling playing and singing together like the original which was pretty hard
indeed, even no one in pearl jam has to play that and sing it at the same time

welcome to the party Mark! I'm glad you found me too - thank you for the kind words :)

Is Drop D tuning allowed at your campfire? It would make the pinky stretch on Asus2 easy and let the Riff with the low D happen. Great lesson!
sure, but then we could just play the regular riff, and that's getting too far away from being unique enough to make a video about :) You should combine however you like David - thanks!
Amazing !!!
thanks Max!
